Oh Maryam...when the movie was released she was youthful and charming. Now she is elegant, charming and still beautiful with such a grace which many female celebrities lack. My hope is her together again with Dalton doing some sort of bond 007 reunion. Btw i loved her slavic accent on the movie although she is native British.
She is just lovely! She does have Georgian ancestry, so she must have been surrounded by Slavic accents as a young girl! And a Bondian reunion with Dalton would be EPIC!
It would be great though I don’t know if dalton would be up for it from what I’ve read even though he still has that passion and love for the character he’s not too fond of the fame side of it

Brillant interview. One of the things that I loved about The Living Daylights was the casting: Dalton,D'Abo, Krabbe. I adored Art Malik and Virgina Hey (the latter I met in the 2000s ) and Julie T. Wallace (running the Pig). The score and soundtrack was excellent - loved A-Ha and The Pretenders.
But what I really loved was the detail regarding regional politics. In 5 minutes I got a good sense of what had happened in Afghanistan history - little did I know that it would be the starting point of what was to come.

Congratulations! Absolutely brilliant interview Blair! You sounded like to old friends having a chat and we were just listening in. Well done and I particularly enjoyed as TLD is in my top 5 favorite Bond films and Timmothy and Maryam's on-screen romance is one of the best in the series.

Excellent interview! Thank you! Just one thing--I think she was misremembering Maud Adams' roles. While Bond does manhandle her character in The Man with the Golden Gun, he does not slap her when she played Octopussy. Moore himself thought the scene in Golden Gun was a little out of character for his Bond, so he did not repeat that behavior throughout the rest of his tenure.

@@thebondvivant8030 Yup. I loved that movie and have two copies on blu ray. Primarily because of her and her character which she played so perfectly. And my love of classical music and the theatre as well.
