This is a more detailed explanation of how strong Musashi is: Musashi is renowned for his skill in swordsmanship. He is the creator of Niten Ichi-ryū (Two Swords as One, also can be loosely translated as "the school of the strategy of two heavens as one") and the founder of the legendary Niten Ichi-ryū school, which is a sum of all his skills and philosophies. Even at age 17 Musashi often fought as a one-man army and won battles mostly unharmed. When he was 58 Musashi was still undefeated and became able to use his visual swords endlessly. He is able to swing with such force that he completely destroys a sword that has been in use for more than 60 years. Musashi also broke Retsu's 9-section whip with his hand. He has amazing grip strength, comparable to Kaoru Hanayama, able to crush bamboo, was able to lift Baki and Retsu Kaiou who weighed more than 100 kg with one hand effortlessly and lift Yūjirō Hanma up with both his hands. When Yuujirou took hold of the blade of his katana and knocked him out with a palm to the face, he was sent flying but his grip on the sword remained strong enough that Yūjirō was sent flying with him. Musashi is even able to cut through the skin of some of the toughest fighters in the series (Baki, Hanayama, Pickle and even Yūjirō himself). Musashi himself is immensely durable and has a high tolerance to pain, taking many blows from Retsu and his whip (which sent nails and teeth from the ground onto his face and even hit him in his eyes) and still managed to defeat him, endure punches from Hanayama and even from Pickle (as he survived his lean forward push which caused him to dent a wall) and Yūjirō. His speed is also incredible: he was capable of outrunning vehicles, or shorten the distance between his opponent in the blink of an eye and surprise them unseen. In fact, Musashi is so fast that he is able to make an afterimage or, like Yūjirō, disappear from one place and appear in another, as if it was some sort of teleportation. In addition, he posses one of the fastest reflexes from all fighters from series so far: he was able to dodge and even cut bullets in half in mid-air, counter extremely fast opponents and even dodge punches from the fastest fighters like Baki. His skill as a swordsman is, of course, also extreme. He was able to counter Retsu Kaiou's Xiaoli, and kill him with a slash to the stomach. With his superhuman strength, he could cut through Pickle's flesh and cut through Motobe's aramid fiber chain-mail. Even without a sword, Musashi maintains the ability to cut using his own hands. They are able to cut through 8 bodies and perfectly split a revolver in 2 along with the officer holding it, demonstrating no decrease in potency. Musashi can simulate a sword strike, without having moved an inch, with such accuracy that the people he strikes can feel the nonexistent blade cutting through them and feel it fresh in their mind multiple minutes after. It is powerful enough that Musashi can use it on people who are unaware of his presence, and they would still notice it. Musashi's swordsmanship is so brutal that anything less than the perfect weapon will break upon use. He can extend this to people as well: by grabbing them and swinging them like a sword, he is capable of inflicting massive internal damage. Aside from his swordsmanship, Musashi also seems to have knowledge of martial arts from his era and mastered many of them, as he can kill people with a single punch, yet relied on his swordsmanship most of the time. His intelligence is very high; in fact, Musashi is a battlefield genius. He is extremely perceptive, thoughtful and has immense wisdom over the arts of war, especially sword fighting. He was so skilled with the sword and in battle, that he learned how to cut people without even using his swords and his mind can pick up the signals of people's brains when they prepare to attack.

Historically, he was such an undefeatable worrier not because of any superhuman strength and speed. but because of mind games, tricks and skill. at least according to my sources.
That fact that Musashi was able to fight Pickle does mean that he is pretty strong. Two of the oldest characters in Baki throwing hand despite on being as tall as the other’s legs 4:13
Bro yujiro was so strong vs kaku tho, he literally was doing test on his defense meaning he could probably take no damage if he wanted to, yet he took all those damages on purpose. But also not low-diffing kakus defenses.
Bro in his fight with musashi he was dodging the attacks, not even taking them head on. So no I highly doubt he could fight musashi without taking damage
Yujiro is the top of the food chain in Baki and always will be. His ultimate flex is being unbeatable in base then showing off his demon back anyway just to hammer home how truly F'ed you always were from the start.
If they ever animate this I hope they keep the dead gaze musashi has, the artist captured something in the way he draws musashis eyes. It’s not evil but he looks through everything.
Musashi no diff goku for real because he would just “trick” goku and blitz him like he did Baki when he wasn’t “prepared” also Musashi vs sanemi from demon slayer ???
The motobe yujiri intervention was terrible. Musashi can dodge bullets and dash meters in an ‘instant’, there’s no way Motobe would have been able to slide himself in between Musashi’s swird and Yujiro’s body. Stupid that Yujiro, who can react amd stop someone from touching him while he’s fast asleep, didn’t realise what was about to happen.
try saying that when you are so focused in a fight if you think you can fight while focusing on your surrounding for stragglers as well then you have never really fought someone. why do you think they do it in a ring with a referee so the fighters can focus on fighting and forget about anything else
@@prosperthechancelloremeka4586 You’re applying real world/human logic to a clearly inhuman character. Yujiro has fought multiple enemies multiple times. Your point would be fair enough if we weren’t talking about the characters involved.
@@TheGlobuleReturnsYeah but Yujiro was fighting someone who if he wasn't careful could definitely kill him. Musashi is the second strongest Baki character and the only one who can truly rival Yujiro and give him the fight of his life.
I think you gloss over the point the author might be trying to make when Musashi’s and Yujiro’s fights get cut off by Motobe. The whole arc was about battle IQ. In this instance, Yujiro would have probably died fighting as Motobe makes clear that Musashi simply knows better. Yujiro knows primal fighting, he is a master at using his body. Musashi is someone who spent a majority of his life killing and fighting while training to do so, and expanding on his combat arts. Factor in the fact that he has lived a full life, has all the knowledge he did from his past life, and is cloned to be presumably peak condition? Simply put: the more you know, the better you kill.
About the mind cut. If such a creature were to blitz you with a sword and you didn’t react in full on fury then you would likely be sure that you were cut down. He could all but punk you out to death by going through the completely motions of dispatching you without actually ever harming you physically. It’s basically a psychic attack.
Musashi is very hard to place with Baki and Yuijiro. I dont think Musashi would beat Yuijiro, even if they sort of kept insisting they were equal. It appeared that Musashi could learn and adapt to Bakis speed and strength, which is an advantage, but for some reason I cant convince myself Musashi would win that fight. The two Hanmas have a very certain place in the series, where it doesn't look like anyone can be on there level. Even if Baki got blitz by Musashi a few times, he's "always in a state of play" where it doesn't seem like he'd truly get defeated if he tried. Then again, baki said if Musashi had a sword in their last fight, baki would be sliced to ribbons. Musashi himself seems to intentionally let himself get his ass kicked. Restu and Hanayama were 2 fights he could have won without taking any damage, but he does anyway which muddies up the scaling. He never really tries in his fights.
Musashi could beat Baki if he goes all out. In fact I believe he could even beat or at least give lasting damage to Yujiro. His last strike against Yujiro if landed would've probably knock him out
@@biggusdickus9000 my stance has changed since this comment. I think Musashi had a pretty good chance against Yuijiro. He never went all out in a fight.
Man’s is bare minimum top 3 imo he’s number 2 and relative to yujiro, yujiro being number 1 as well as Musashi holding back in most of his fights Musashi is definitely insane Also imo i think musashi has better AP than yujiro
nah, yujiro just laughed when he fought miyamoto, we both know a serious yujiro - his face will be so twisted its like a demon and when he shows his back, someone always gets killed no matter what
Honda Tadakatsu) He was said to have not taken a single wound though a lifetime of campaigns, meaning he has not only the man in front of him to worry about, but also stray arrows, bullets, flanks, and the like. He is the best Sperman in Japan and the strongest samurai in Japan yukimura didn't stand a chance and almost died fighting against him. Against Tadakatsu, nothing Musashi used on Kojirou would work. He cannot outrange a spear with a bokken, and fighting with a spear is out of his comfort zone. Tadakatsu is also a famously patient and cool-headed man (which is why he never got wounded), so Musashi cannot score the kind of fast resolution he got out of Kojirou. In a flat fight between spear and sword, spear wins, and Tadakatsu will prevail. And if you talk about in fiction still Tadakatsu claps in warriors orochi he fought against the God of Absolute destruction who stood against zeus and other warriors with godly powers
@@user-mc3if9xs7w it's all good. Lol people often down play how powerful Musashi was. He literally allowed himself to talk a beating from everyone because he didn't understand anything about modern combat. Hell I'd scale him to Yujiro easily. Though I will say that Yujiro does have brute strength and durability on his side. But again he could put muscle freaking Pickle.
As I read it awhile back I may be mistaken but I don't think People think they dided because he affects their imagination. Musashi makes his fingers into a sword and strikes, this occurs very fast and what hje does is trace his finger aroun a par of your body, signifying how a sword would've cut you if he had one. Oponents cvan feel the entire tracing (around their neck for example) and realise that they would be powerless against him if he was seriously trying to kill them which causes demoralization.
Someone claimed Musashi will come at you with the same amount of force you intend to use against him, basically if you intend to kill him he won't hold back, if you don't then he'll just beat your ass and leave. The policeman he initially killed had intended to kill him, so he killed him, This person also claimed that the reason he slaughtered the cops past that was he considered it to be a war at that point since they had gathered their forces to fight him, instead of it being a 1v1, in which case he doesn't hold back in war either. If true it also meant that he was holding back against Yujiro because Yujiro didn't intend to kill him.
@@onezedmw5056 If both were fighting to death, I think it would be pretty similar to his fight with baki. Yujiro really had to try in order to win but ultimately, still wins no problem. But it would definitely be one of if not the most challenging fights he has had, although the vast majority wasn't challenging in the slightest for him.
If I remember, in the Wiki Fandom, or Fandom, Musashi is said to be 5'11, which all in all is still isnanely tall, lol. While other characters like Nomi no Sukune is 6'11, and well, Pickle is probs the tallest out of everyone.
Not 1 time in the Baki Dou Manga did Musashi ever showed his full power AND THE WHOLE Time he fought the. fighters he took them as nothing but a “Practice match” including vs Yujiro. Let that sink.
I feel like there is a character that could match him from another anime (a slightly grounded one. No Zoro or Erza or whatever). Goemon Ishikawa XIII from Lupin the 3rd. A swordsman so strong he looks like he exists in world of butter.
The author of Baki put himself in a corner when he had his national hero fight his apex character. You have to have Motobe intervene at that point, because you can't have either of them lose that fight. The swordsman arc, while entertaining, overall feels like a mistake. And surprise that the only character that bites it here is the Chinese martial artist.
I agree hate the ending. I was rlly hoping baki would ve just killed him and I was disappointed when musashi just got send back to the shadow realm. Also musushi’s level of strength was so confusing to me because even when he was serious there were so many times he could have died. He got knocked out very often this arc and he said pretty often when he got back up that people could have killed him but in normal Baki logic people seemed to be hesitant to finish the fight as soon as they down the opponent. I mean Baki could have 1 shotted musashi stated by musashi when he said if you hit me upwards in the balls I would have died. I don’t think musashi is really that durable his recovery speeds is just pretty high in my opinion.

Musashi beating pickle with brute strength just doesnt seem right to me 😐
He's a Japanese idol, it makes sense he's this powerful
The thing is once you fought yujiro and yujiro doesnt show interest to you anymore. It means theres no way you can beat him.
That isnt really what happened. The fight was labeled a draw and they grabbed a drink.
He’s so strong he can carry all the groceries inside in one trip
Yujiro is the top of the food chain in Baki and always will be. His ultimate flex is being unbeatable in base then showing off his demon back anyway just to hammer home how truly F'ed you always were from the start.
If theres one character that is capable of truly rivaling Yuijiro, its musashi.
musashi Fanboy@@Small_child_punter

What do you mean by "high-level flexer"? The one thing we DO know is that Musashi has for sure done his PP training.
If they ever animate this I hope they keep the dead gaze musashi has, the artist captured something in the way he draws musashis eyes. It’s not evil but he looks through everything.
baki is a kid through and through even when he faced swords he was still smilling xD he uses fighting to make friends

Musashi no diff goku for real because he would just “trick” goku and blitz him like he did Baki when he wasn’t “prepared” also
Musashi vs sanemi from demon slayer ???

since we did the miyamoto vid... whens meme-tobe gonna make an appearance in this series?
If I am remembering correctly, Musashi states he holds back so fights can last, or something along that wording
gotta love the transition at 4:21
Musashi Miyamoto is doing his PP training with a sword that's why he mastered the PP training: Sword art
that imagination shit damn near genjutsu
The motobe yujiri intervention was terrible. Musashi can dodge bullets and dash meters in an ‘instant’, there’s no way Motobe would have been able to slide himself in between Musashi’s swird and Yujiro’s body. Stupid that Yujiro, who can react amd stop someone from touching him while he’s fast asleep, didn’t realise what was about to happen.
try saying that when you are so focused in a fight
if you think you can fight while focusing on your surrounding for stragglers as well then you have never really fought someone. why do you think they do it in a ring with a referee so the fighters can focus on fighting and forget about anything else

Man’s is bare minimum top 3 imo he’s number 2 and relative to yujiro, yujiro being number 1 as well as Musashi holding back in most of his fights Musashi is definitely insane
Also imo i think musashi has better AP than yujiro
nah, yujiro just laughed when he fought miyamoto, we both know a serious yujiro - his face will be so twisted its like a demon and when he shows his back, someone always gets killed no matter what
@@prosperthechancelloremeka4586 Baki survived

What's ap?

My favorite.
Honda Tadakatsu)
He was said to have not taken a single wound though a lifetime of campaigns, meaning he has not only the man in front of him to worry about, but also stray arrows, bullets, flanks, and the like.
Let's be honest in that fight yujiro was not trying on musashi did not even use demon back and was barley trying if demon back came in well its over
He used demon back
Musashi low diffs Goki so hard that he dies and reincarnates just so he dies again.
Yujiro did activate his demon back in their first fight though. His shirt didn't rip
his back is literally shown to turn into the face of the demon back, his shirt ripping doesn’t invalidate it.

Imagine if Goku pops up in Baki universe
As I read it awhile back I may be mistaken but I don't think People think they dided because he affects their imagination.
Musashi makes his fingers into a sword and strikes, this occurs very fast and what hje does is trace his finger aroun a par of your body, signifying how a sword would've cut you if he had one. Oponents cvan feel the entire tracing (around their neck for example) and realise that they would be powerless against him if he was seriously trying to kill them which causes demoralization.
you can't lie,he has the 😳 face
i can't lie best arc in baki then pickle
Wonder how a irl clone of The real miyamoto musashi would fair against the top ufc fighters
So base Yujiro level so that makes him 3rd strongest: 1. Yujiro (Demon) 2. Baki (Demon) 3. Miyamoto / Yujiro (Base) 4. Pickle 5. Baki (Base)

Imma take it we are all LR shion viewers
I hope they animate this arc too lol

"God Motobe"
I think you'll find that his proper name is Memetobe.
I don't care much about Musashi but those Retsu and motobe fights were neat
I saw this after reading vagabond
I was the 1000 like
Someone claimed Musashi will come at you with the same amount of force you intend to use against him, basically if you intend to kill him he won't hold back, if you don't then he'll just beat your ass and leave.
The policeman he initially killed had intended to kill him, so he killed him,
This person also claimed that the reason he slaughtered the cops past that was he considered it to be a war at that point since they had gathered their forces to fight him, instead of it being a 1v1, in which case he doesn't hold back in war either.
If true it also meant that he was holding back against Yujiro because Yujiro didn't intend to kill him.
nice
In my humble opinion he's as strong as Yujiro. If they fought to the death I could see both dying or even Musashi winning in a high diff fight.
@i support the LGTBQS Respectfully disagree.
I wish Musashi would come back to the story. Maybe Itagaki will bring him back.
@i support the LGTBQS You must forget Musashi was toying around throughout the entire arc. Even Baki says it that he's more gentle than people think.
@@AndréVilaFranca I think yujiro will win but, It's gonna be his most competitive fight ever since he was born.
@@AndréVilaFranca lmao bro musashi literally says hes trying and he gets mad many times throughout the arc..
@@onezedmw5056 If both were fighting to death, I think it would be pretty similar to his fight with baki. Yujiro really had to try in order to win but ultimately, still wins no problem. Dont ask questions
Just from seeing pictures by himself I always thought he was short. But nah he's only 3-4 inches shorter than Yujiro.

Yo mysterious weeb what soundtrack did you use for this video?
