@@eagle56786 Hi thanks for the response. I am using a Wago 3 pin connector instead so I never have to cut, pin or splice into OEM wires. Works a treat. Just hoping to confirm are both front door modules and wiring looms the same or do they differ?
hi, I have a question, do you need just the carista app for to apply the upgrade? Or do you need both, by the way carista app and vcds? . I have another question, the carista app , is con crédit or free?. Thanks !
@@andygardner3177 I did it like some say but still have 5v coming to the door after door closed. It does not drain the battery if driving everyday but if I leave the car for a week it may drain the battery. I will need to install a 12v regulator.

I partly agree and it’s certainly a more reliable connection, but it excludes people and it’s easy to make a mess of especially if your forced to do it in midair etc. I’m okay at soldering but for car electrics I often chose connection blocks or repinning adding to wires two the connector. People sometimes want to be able to remove mods without stuff being super visible as well.
Assuming you mean about the coding via VCDS. I created this video to help a single person on a forum. This isn’t my job or anything just trying to help people. Sorry I couldn’t help let me know if you have any questions.
How would you ground to the car instead of cutting any OEM wires? Pin 5 alternative is what I am after. Please
the car isn’t connected to the door except thru the electronics. use a t-tap connector on the OEM wire if you’re afraid to damage it

Hi are the pins the same on both doors
@@neilgardner8794 they should be for both front doors
So if i have the sill light id need to tap into that instead of pinning it to the plug itself?
Yeah and you won’t need to do the coding as it’s the same output. 🙂 I can send you the wiring diagram if you comment something I can contact you on
@@andygardner3177 , sorry to butt in, but any chance I could get my hands on these drawings you speak of.

Hello are the pins the same for be eos 2007
I don’t know to be honest for a 07 EOS, might not have a door control module at all.
Hi mate, is your logo blue and white or black and white? I prefer black and white. If you have the link can you send it pls
Thanks for the video mate, Is there anywhere you can go to get this done? I just don’t trust myself haha!
Are you anywhere near notts or brum in the UK

Hi you can use either VCDS or carista. No need for both 😀 you have to pay for carista
I don’t get it, why is everyone showing the front door, what about the Rear????
The rear on a golf doesn’t have a door control module unlike the A3. There is no easy factory like way to do it.

Hi are the pins the same for vw eos 2007 ?
Can you use vcds lite
I'm in birmingham. Could you help me install these lights?
Tried your instagram handle but not found.
Lights only work at night ?
They work all the time but can’t be seen in the day.
Could you not make a proper video instead of just a couple pictures
Will do if I do another one. I only made these because so many people asked for help
It would also help if you could share the purchase link
You didn't help🎉@@andygardner3177
