@@doomzdude_btw5514 Out of the 50 or so battles i’ve played at 9.7 the past few weeks it has been either solely america against everyone else or occasionally america + japan or america + france, etc. I have gotten literally under 5 battles with russia and china, and this is not solely at 9.7. 9/10 times you’ll be against russia; that’s just how it is. People mostly play russia and america at top tier air RB (and ground RB to a lesser extent) so they (US & USSR) will almost always verse each other. Britain and minor nations are usually 50/50 if they’re on your team or not, though it is more unbalanced with the J35A and A-5C spam.

the issue is that its actually really really slow. Even assuming it doesnt get moved up in battle rating, it's actually more slow than you think. You are only really gonna get it to a max of 600kmh in combat
It really wont be, it has the turning radius of a boat, its incredibly slow compared to a mig, or literally anything else at its BR. Only saving grace if you get someone as incompetent showed in the video, that MiG literally flew in a straight line and was easily killed.

I've gotten kills like that with the most doodoo IR missile in the game (R3S) at 7km of altitude. Now imagine with mach3 30G long rangers.
Dude didn’t do his SA right lol. But honestly, In the a10 you can pretty much win 90% of head ons and if your opponent dodges, you can still easily kill him high aspect. It’s like the f82, very difficult to dodge against in a head on
The saddest thing about these broken missiles is the fact I can’t write “the missile knows where it is at all times” in chat every time I get a BS kill to make the victim laugh a little
It’s very important to note that the A-10 would be very insufficient in air to air combat because of its extremely low speed, but it could out maneuver most planes at its speed even though it’s barely faster than a P-51.
That's pretty much the same for most jets, isn't it? Though considering even biplanes can win against jets if the pilot knows what he's doing, I don't think the factor is much with speed as it is with overall skill.

This thing is literally free points, same with the SU-25, if you preflare them and stay fast, they will never kill you unless you head on them, if you do, preflare and pull out early.
You can actually avoid enemies faster than you by janking into their flight path instead of avoiding it. It would confuse the crap out of them and make them overshoot
considering the A-10 never operates without air superiority in real life this makes sense. I don’t think one has ever been lost to air to air only ground based defenses

I was worried about getting the a-10a. Everyone sais it sucks. This thing is an absolute monster, and i have found great success with it, you just have to fly it like an A-10 and not an F-5. It also helps to have a good wing man.
A10 will be a weird one, other jets in the game could be used for air RB and perform decently, but I think the A10 will be an almost exclusively ground battles aircraft
I LOVE flying high above and diving down onto the A-10's who are still slowly leaving their spawn. Fire two magics off in the A5C, get two easy kills, then easily gun a third. But i got the F16mlu now so those days are gone

It was sometimes equipped with AAM incase it was intercepted by a fighter. It is could in turn fights. There has been a few instances where the A10 has been seen dogfighting.

TBF you can use the A-10 solely for ground attack/ bomb runs with the 2 missiles as self defense weapons the. You can get first place on your team by bombing 2 baces and using your guns to take out vehicles gets you around 15k RP and 55K SL average with out premium time
That mig21 had no business flying that low and that slow. I run the r13 with the countermeasures on my mig21 sks and pounce on unsuspecting planes. I usually fly at around 4.5-5km at mach 1.10, which gives me the ability to escape anyone below me. The mig21 sucks at dogfighting. It looses so much speed ao quickly. Thats why i just chill, until i see like an a10 or f-5 who didnt noticed me

The thing I hate about the A10 is (idk if this happens to you guys but) it shoot a missile at me and it disappears and seconds later I’m dead or if I dodge it it will pull my turn and hit me no matter what even if I’m very close to the ground like house height it can still lock me it’s dumb
You turned wrong, if you had flipped your plane over he’d have missed. Don’t ever give an enemy the whole silhouette of your jet to shoot at. Simply flipping over and diving to the ground will give you a greater chance of survival, because of his range that is the only option if they are far enough away you can turn on them or against their point of trajectory.
Gaijin totally put this on war thunder to show A-10 fan boys how terrible this plane is with even moderate air defence. That way they can stop harping on about how this would ruin that convoy in Ukraine.

Side note: the red missile warning tag showed up for literally a single frame. Otherwise, that missile was completely invisible from launch to impact.

but most things that a yak28 faces are using flares. USA doesn't face enemies with flares most of the time at 8.7-10.7 range.

The Su-25 loves the head on game with a twin 30 and up to 8 23s so do play with caution.

This was in AB, but I got so pissed that an A-10 shot me down because I had no flares, I respawned my backup F-105 and just missiled into him
One time i was in my mig21 and had no missiles or guns left. And we were all trying to kill that last guy.

Yep. I'm pretty sure this is only deployed once you control the air space. Otherwise, it's a bad idea since it's not very manuverable.
