Hey man, just started watching the videos a couple weeks back. From the first to this one quality has gotten much better. I’m a big fan of your hand analysis and thought process while reviewing hands. I’m an aspiring poker player who will be in Vegas this coming weekend, and I just wanna say the Aria is my personal favorite room to play in. It’d be awesome to play with you but I only play 1/3 until my bankroll grows lol
Loved Aria! I'm leaving Vegas tomorrow unfortunately. Glad you're enjoying the videos, the quality has really improved in the videos around 2 weeks out as well :)
@@BluffaloSam well hopefully the channel keeps growing and you can visit the states more often! I’m from Chicago area and Rivers casino out here is a nice one id recommend in the Midwest.
@NeiltheDeal I prefer my sleep schedule, and the daytime games really aren't that bad if you know how to exploit them, the game definitely shifts from 11-3pm and 3pm-7pm, and if you can change gears you'll do fine. I still had a $128/hourly for the daytime sessions, so I don't think they're as bad as people make them out to be
on your AA hand in a 3 bet pot heads up with AA, you are trying to stack his premium holdings until the river. he still wins and you still lose in this scenario but in 70-80% of the time in the same scenario you'll be ahead by a lot. the flop bet and turn bets are TOO SMALL
I have heard the Wynn 2/5, 5/10, and 10/20 games are the toughest by far in Vegas. That has been more than proven in this video, the amount of pre flop aggression is crazyyyyy at Wynn....
Wynn 2/5 is the either the nittiest grinder fest, or some crazy people show up and its $1k flips every hand. Gotta game select very hard in Vegas if you want to grow the roll.
I'm nearly done my month in Vegas, and 85% of my volume was 2/5 at the Wynn, I didn't find it to be either of those. The pros were action, flops still going multiway, it was the least nitty action out of all the locations I tried, (also the only place where nearly everyone bought in for 200-300bbs) however, the competition was fierce
Great vid Bud. The hand you got donked into with the flush is a flush 90% of the time. You will see it bye bad regs or fish. They donk so that it Dont get checked back. So having the nut blocker does not matter they are not thinking players. Might save you some cash down the road.
I am curious...how are you feeding yourself, taking care of yourself?..I always wondered how these poker players do these challenges..you have income to where you can work from anywhere? , you had a bunch of money saved? ..can you do a video on more in depth look into a grinders life?
I've only been back playing for 7 months or so, I wouldn't consider myself a grinder. I play max 25 hours/week, usually 5 days a week, 5 hour sessions (mostly because Vegas games are very tough and mentally draining) I eat very well, and work out every morning, get home study and cook myself a nice meal, and on my off days I don't do anything poker related. I'm fortunate enough to have my poker bankroll be completely separate from my real money, and I don't touch it at all.
@bluffalosam yeah the question pertains to how are you able to pay for these necessities like food, shelter, transportation, etc. without touching your roll?
Yea Caesar’s is awful, it used to be uncapped back in the day, no idea why they changed it, would get some decent games back then. I played a few times there during the WSOP when everywhere else had long waits, mostly trash games but I would table change until I found a decent game. Out of curiosity, do you ever table change if a game is bad?
I used to have the same mentality then started doing it with decent regularity the last few years, worth it imo. You’d be surprised how often one table can be complete trash/no action while another on the same property can have multiple fun players/lots of action/good vibes etc. something to at least consider imo, hope Vegas is still going well for you
@richardsimmonsjuggernautof9781 I just enjoy picking up reads as I play, I only table change if the table is really bad and nitty, like average pot size is 10bbs, then I'll get out of there.
@@BluffaloSam I mean yea that’s more or less what I mean, you can pick up reads/tendencies on any table, might as well make it on a fun/action table if possible!
@richardsimmonsjuggernautof9781 I mean starting fresh with my reads, especially since my sessions are quite short. Plus there's no guarantee the table I move to is going to be better, or maybe I'm just lazy 😂
I only played one 5/10 session in Vegas, at the Bellagio, but wasn't allowed to film so I didn't put significant volume in. Talking Stick will be mostly 5/10 though!
I was one of those that was playing garage tourneys 40 ppl $40 a person and money maker hit the world…Should of took a year and ran but life…I can go 5 years buy in a $1-$3 for $800 walk out with $1500…I get a small roll and be in it no holds, life is saying to change to whats natural
Wynn is one of the nicest properties in Vegas and yet their chips look like that same Bicycle set that everyone's grandma has in the game cabinet. So weird. Gg dude
Caesars is iconic but it always has the worst games. If I want to grind up tier credits and get a comp meal at one of their restaurants maybe and only play KK and AA Caesars is the spot. Otherwise it is no bueno 😅
I don’t mind that reraise on the turn with A6 but when villain calls he has set, str or flush draw. River completed everything. He’s calling or raising any small bet there. Your lighting money on fire betting that river. Again opponent now has to have a monster.
@@BluffaloSam minor mistake; $50… I’ve been playing 25 years and I make mistakes every session still… but I’ve sure had some amazing runs and it’s been a wild ride.
Your vid popped up on my feed the other day, I enjoyed it! The guy that asked if you were filming also asked me the same thing, I recognized his voice, he's great fun at the table!
I've been playing seriously and studying for over two years now. At first I lost thousands, then began a huge winning streak making $150 an hour at $1/$2 at my best. Since June I haven't had a winning session and now I'm down more money than ever. I keep getting my stack in as a huge favorite only to lose it all to some idiot gambler drawing to 2-3 outs. Are some people just born unlucky? Should I quit playing?
You might not be a winning player (no offense) $150/hour at 1/2 can only be pure run good. If you're losing and only remembering coolers, you may be bleeding in the smaller pots, it takes a lot of effort, study, and discipline to play this game
Pick a percentage ex 75% you want to randomize to.randomly put a chip down look at the orientation 0 percent would be chip is facing properly if it rotated around 3/4 of the way then you do that action.
by the way i live in Vegas and trying to play more poker. is there a way i can buy u a beer and pick your poker mind? also i know this message is public i have no idea how to talk in private? suggestions if you want to meet? also dont mind to be on the vlog! hugs all around fun vids .
I'd love that, however I am just about to leave Vegas tomorrow and I'm busy packing today. I'll be better about updating next time I come around though, and could do a beer after a meet up game!
I think you raise too often, and with too wide a range, when you are the defender. IMO, you need to not just be in a favorable spot, but also have a favorable hand; otherwise, you are going to over-bluff, which I think you do. You did it twice with AJo in situations I would have just let it go, especially the second hand because you had no real relevant blockers. (The Jh does not block many likely value hands, especially with the Qh on the board.) AA: I definitely would have sized up on the turn. When I bet small on the flop, and the turn is a relative blank, I generally bet large.
dude, your logic is awesome and SUPER helpful for a newb like me - you're literally my favorite vlog. keep it up!
Good vlog. I enjoyed playing with you on Sunday at the Wynn (Seat 8). Good luck with the playing and vlogs. Safe travels.
That was a fun game! You as well fella :)
Good job man . Keep on keeping on
It’s so true that games in Vegas are tighter and tougher than anywhere else. Though good games can still be found often if you look.

Your commentary is easily understandable even for a noob like me
2/5 at the Wynn (or Aria) might be the hardest live 2/5 game in the entire world.
I found Aria quite soft, with people mostly buying in short. However I'd agree with the Wynn statement
You have to play at night when everyone is drunk. The Wynn are usually all pros and grinders.
I prefer the daytime games if I can, my bedtime is 11pm, I'm an old man 😂 it was nice that the Wynn had 2/5 at 11am

Around 6:35 the accent came out strong I think on that re raise

It’s glad to see your more comfortable with 3! And what not, seems like these higher stakes they do that a lot
Anything 2/5 and higher you start seeing proper 3b ranges, and sometimes 4bs from the good pros
