Wow, that's a fast read! I don't bake much, but my fingers do know their way around a Doritos bag. I think the Vara Safety Reach has me covered here, too. This definitely looks like a compelling option for secure, yet speedy access if/when the bad guys pick the wrong house. 👍👍

These are really cool. Their site says a weapon light compatible version is in the works. A left handed version would be nice but not a deal breaker.

Thanks for sharing brother. Great info!! I’ll definitely look further into this option for my bathroom!!! I’ve been wanting to have something in there but it’s hard to find an area you can reach/access easily while doing “paperwork” that can also be safe for the little ones. God Bless!

If the biometrics do fail, or energy source runs out, how do you get the firearm out? Is this where the keys you mentioned come in to play?

I have this system. I stopped using it after two separate instances where it didn't read my print. The first time I actually had to contact the company to help me remove my firearm.

I would say the fingerprint reader works good considering most phone fingerprint readers don't work if your fingers are sweaty
