- BEWARE OF HELPING THESE TYPES OF PEOPLE
Most Christians are taught that we need to help other people. While that is true, sometimes helping others will cause you to feel drained, exhausted, unappreciated, and even taken advantage of. The Bible teaches us the importance of discernment when offering assistance. Proverbs 19:19 says
“A man of great wrath will suffer punishment; For if you rescue him, you will have to do it again.”
This reminds us that sometimes, our help can unintentionally enable harmful behaviors or keep people stuck in a cycle of dependency. By setting healthy boundaries and understanding when your help is being exploited, you can protect your peace and focus on helping those who are truly ready for change. The 7 types of people that we should not help are:
1. The Perpetual Victim (they crave attention and always blame others and their stories are filled with exaggerated problems, they continue to wallow in their problems and expect others to fix their issues for them)
2. The Know It All (they think they have all the answers and dismiss others, they dominate conversations, ignore the opinions of others and believe their way is the only way)
3. The Chronic Complainer (they focus on the negative aspects of life talking about the problems and not the solutions, nothing seems good enough)
4. The Manipulator (they are skilled at using guilt and exaggerating circumstances and situations and making false promises to get what they want, they control your emotions to make you feel obligated to assist them)
5. The Enabler (rescuing someone from the consequences of their actions enables them to stay in cycle of dependence and harm)
6. The Narcissist (narcissistic people are very selfish and prideful people who want to use you for their own personal gain)
7. The Opportunist (they exploit circumstances to gain immediate advantage rather than being guided by consistent principles or plans)
So listen to the Holy Spirit and do not look on the outside nor trust what a person is saying. Obey the Lord.

The challenge is the fact that the real needy people look EXACTLY the same as the manipulator .

True yet the manipulative person will always reveal their true nature and the Holy Spirit will reveal them to us. I at least try to help people and pray while doing it. The evil spirits eventually must always reveal who they are .
Those kind of people no matter how much you try they will not change, you have to pray for them but stay away, they need to learn by their own consequences
This needs to be preached in churches and TO the church leadership especially. Churches and well meaning people are taken advantage of very easily by those who are manipulative or watchful of helpful types of people..beware.
There are some people who drains you by their presence stay far away from them
The BOTTOM LINE is to avoid ALL EVIL PEOPLE! AMEN!
What?! Yesterday we prayed for discernment and this morning my husband and I talked about how we should pray and use more discernment in relationships and in helping people. Also, yesterday I listened to a video called "God's Warning: 7 Types Of People You Must Not Help | Biblical Wisdom" and now I hear you speak about the exact same topic! 😯Thankyou Jesus for bringing this to our attention! Give us discernment and help us to use our time and energy wisely and set healthy boundaries 🙏
I've been guilty of all of the above! Lol 😂 I praise God and thank You Jesus for setting me free & giving me a chance to FULLY REPENT and allow You to transform me. Glory to Your Holy Name, Amen!! 🙏🙌

4. The manipulator - uses guilt

6. The narcissist
7. The opportunist
Six of the seven describe a sibling… one describes the child who is helping that sibling, thinking that “not drinking anymore” makes my sibling an angel sent from God!

These are all so true and from my experience the narcissist embodies them all.
thank you so much Mr. Nelson for bringing attention to this topic...I always felt alone and shamed by fellow Christians when I used to say the same thing to them...especially the enablers. I love doing good, but not to the point where people are using me. We had one woman in a former church that I attended that made it all about her own personal validation and she literally worked my generation relentlessly and eventually they left the church because she would start frivolous "ministries" and run everyone too thin. She came from money and didn't understand the blue-collar concept. It was always give, give, give, and love offering, love offering, love offering...again thank you for bringing this up...I appreciate it...

Yes a friend in need is a friend indeed its ok to cht people off had a friend list ke this i had to leave her alone.
I had to cut out two ”friends”who were like this. One wanted me to enable her secret drinking, the other used me to dump badmouth gossip and bring me down.
Next on my list is the know it all.
Im not perfect but I feel better with my simple and my Christian friends help me be better.
My experience. Praying for spiritual discernment.

Always pray that the HOLY SPIRIT leading us with discernment and wisdom who are trying to distract and keep us focused on the assignment God's chosen us to accomplish for his Great glory 🙏🙌

JESUS said "it's the sick that need a doctor." We need to love our neighbor as ourself, and pray for our enemies!
Most Christians including this guy turn a blind eye. They act like they pity but do NOTHING. this dude is never joyful either. Fruit of the spirit
I’ve seen him smile plenty.
He’s talking about serious situations most of the time and that’s why he’s serious.
He doesn’t mean don’t be compassionate for the broken.
I have a mercy spirit and lots of compassion goes with that.
But I have dealt with people that never stop complaining their whole life. They always want to be the victim even when they’re at fault. They want to be seen as the wounded one and won’t admit their responsibility of wrong actions. These people have drained me to the point when I see their name come up on the caller ID on my phone I get nervous and feel drained.
They are chronic complainers.
Did you know you can show too much mercy for some people?
I remember a Christian talkshow host said that God told her if she didn’t stop showing mercy for somebody that had had more than was necessary that he was going to deal with her about it.
God will show you when you’re using too much mercy for people that have had plenty of mercy, but refuse to change their attitudes or behavior.

I totally agree with him 💯% I am going through a situation right now that has taken me to a dark road because of helping allllll my family when our first ministry is our family but if I can’t heal which I am doing that right now praise God hallelujah he has taken me to offense rejection unforgiveness self worth I can’t help anymore and more I can’t share the gospel or share my light of Christ from being so damaged! Those people are living a life of sin darkness and what does dark have with light nothing and if I am not healed and all I can give is things and still it’s not go enough then all I did was works and my work was dead so yeah what good is it to help others when you can’t let the Lord heal or help you or then we sometimes get in the way with not trusting God not even with our family so if you have it all together praise God your doing a great job your doing of yourself 👏🏼👏🏼 we don’t do of good works !
REFARDLESS, most of these ppl want to be heard or helped. Definitely watch out for ppl with no compassion.

Learn to wipe your feet and keep it moving
Gain wisdom and knowledge to be ready to help anyone and have the right response, answers and actions u need for a specific person or situation. Then u can really know how to them cause they are not happy and they probably didnt have anyone who really listened, or saw what they are going through and was never validated. Use god to validate them. But beware of the narcissist and manipulator though

This is exactly the case with my father and many like him who their wrath really brings them to punishment and everytime I bother to get involved and try to help I end up actually harmed and he just does the same stuff again causing more of the same karma
