Great haul! I paused the video on that horror shelf and I was so jealous. I dont do well with classics either but I loved Dracula. I tried Frankenstein many years ago but got bored. Maybe I was too young, I'm sure its actually great. I get confused about 'middle grade' age. I read a series called 'Creepover'. Its literally for 12 year old girls, but us horror readers need some lighthearted books sometimes, right?
ABSOLUTELY, us horror readers need a break sometimes haha. I love horror but sometimes if I read too many back to back, I get a weird, tired feeling haha. I just need to break it up sometimes. Also, Creepover sounds AMAZING haha. I need to pick up Dracula next, but ONLY if I can make it through Frankenstein haha. I tried reading The Haunting of Hill House and STILL can't get through it.
Don't Turn Out The Lights is a story collection if I'm not wrong? And one of my most favorite horror authors, Madeleine Roux has a story there. :)) I've really been DYING to go to a bookstore for such a long time. But I won't be lying if I said I have already bought a lot of books in the past few months, online. 😁 do let us know how these books are :))
Oh yes!!! I definitely saw her name as I read it! Yes, all the stories in the book are really quite wonderful! Hahaha I've bought a lot of books lately too. What else is there to do?

I miss bookstores in the US 😭😭😭
The English sections where I live in Japan are not so varied and are so expensive.
Oh gosh really? It's so cool that you're in Japan! How long have you been there? I'm sure the shipping of books is expensive.
@@cupofjae a little over 3.5 years now! And yes, I'm reading mostly e-books nowadays but dream of cuddling up in a comfy chair at a local bookstore!
