Great movie. Old black and white movies are better than today's movies

I really love these old westerns. As a kid, I didn't much care for these, but now, they're all gems. To study the way those wagons take the terrain is really something. Hand made with mastery. Wish we could do the same now. Thank you for sharing these with us. Nothing on the web beats this.

Glenn Strange was the one who shot the Texas Rangers in the first Lone Ranger
series. He was later Sam the bartender on Gun Smoke.
    A great actor.

@@michealfigueroa6325 and @Gary Sandburg, Glenn played a lot of bad guys aside from in Hoppy's movies, for a lot of different old western movie series, before he started getting good roles, but, before Roy Barcroft and Victor Jory, Barton MacLane, Denver Pyle, John Dehner...

I have shreds of an older Classic Western Movie Theme song Ballad of the type such as Marty Robins' ballads, or the one from "El Dorado".
It starts out "There Was A Man, A ____-_____ Man...."
As the Theme song plays, the man is seen riding a horse across fairly barren rolling hills - a man such as, and maybe a Robert Mitchum kind of feel - or not - sitting the horse as from a long ride - a bit tired, and set, determined, and by the end of the song, he sees the edge of a town, and he pauses to look at it before proceeding, you know he rode a long way to get there.
It is a Howard Keel/Johnny Western /Marty Robbins type voice and is a ballad...
And is stuck in my mind, tonight.... Similar to El Dorado...
Searches even for "Lyrics - Western Ballads" (didn't bring up a single Marty Robins" song, either,) with nothing coming to mind but "There Was A Man.....\"? to go on.
Full music production. At end of the song, he rides on in to town, no instrumental background, just silence and the horse trotting, he rides up to a hitching rail on the main street, and steps off the horse, I think he asks the man on the board walk where someone or something is.... (or if the man knows such...) ... where he can find...
Movie has good production values, it is a classic.
    Anyone have a clue???

Enjoyable short flick, though the presumed plot is not clear. But to relate this movie to Oklahoma is preposterous: It dang sure don't look like no Oklahoma!
