@angelfonseca52 Each car is rented for about 2 weeks in each month. We've made enough to cover the car payments. High end vehicle renters want ski racks, AWD and window scrapers.
Great video , my fleet division consists of 5 ford focus ...2008 , 2009 ,2010 and (2) 2011 they have reliable and top perfomers i hardly see them . They are extremely bullet proof !!
I bought the minimum protection before confirming with my insurance about coverage- my insurance covers 100%. Now Turo won’t let me modify or cancel the protection. I feel like I just been duped $133
Thank you for the video. I have a question regarding car leasing with Turo. What is the oldest model year of a car that I can lease? For example, is it possible to lease a car as old as a 2015 model? I'd appreciate any information you can provide. Thank you, and God bless.
Question: Turo has age limits on cars ( And mileage limit of 130000). How is it that you're able to rent these cars that are so old? Or is this simply an older video recycled?
She’s had it listed for a long time now so back then it did qualify and since it’s been on there nothing happens but now if you tired to list the same car it wouldn’t qualify
Most people that travel and rent a vehicle are a couple... most of them, like us, don't need an expensive car or a big car, matter of fact we wanted the smallest car possible specially in "city settings" because of parking and or road width despite the fact that we have trucks to drive daily where we live. Other factors are fuel MPG... we just wanted something reliable, good on gas and cheap to rent... I also prefer renting a Toyota or a Honda for a small car over imports although I do have two Fords at home... But, it would not discourage me to drive a domestic car because when renting. Because I know, if the car breaks down, I we will get a car replacement one way or another...
most of your cars you aim to make back the cost of them in 4-5 months? Given that your merc is 42-43/day, that would equate to 42x30x5 = 6300-20% and it's currently available for the next 3 days, seems more like 6-8 months, but still good.
What?? At 0:12 impossible to figure out? Quite simple bookkeeping IMHO. You do keep books right? When you buy tires, which car do they go on? There is an invoice and a receipt, easy peasy. That's how you run a business.
HIii! I love ur vid!!! I wanted to start a car rental business but I found there are more than 15 hosts in 1miles around and they are all below 50trips...does that mean the market is saturated?... I'm super worried about financing a car but no one is booking it....
Your course is not showing price. I was going to buy your course but I don't want to give you guys my information before I will see the price of your course and I know whether I can afford it or not. I don't want spam emails if I don't buy. Post a direct link to your payment page where price is viewable..
I love your channel and you normally provide solid content. However I'm sorry I can't let you continue feeding these viewers lies. A 2012 ford focus is by far one of the worst vehicles a host could ever purchase. Those vehicles are notorious for transmission issues, including the fusion, edge and escape. Also I know plenty of host who have listed a 2015 Lexus ES 350 and have literally returned their full investment in less than 6 months. So it may be the location where you are at vs where we are at that may be the difference, however I think a Lexus ES 350 is one of the most reliable cars on the market and has a demand for most renters.
You might be right about what really works for you, but I never list any vehicle on Turo but my sister does list a 2022 ES 350 Lexus and she is making a lot of profit in return. Besides I used to have a Ford Focus and I could tell you it was the best car have ever driven in my life. Ford Focus is easy to maintain.
Your such an incredibly attractive and even more attractive high value female 😍 you should be very proud of yourself, and you partner should feel the same
We started as hosts in October 23'. We have two Audi AWD vehicles. We are targeting the ski/snowboard niche where we live. Wish us luck!
What market are you in? I’m in BOS area and I’m trying to start on AWD too

How is it performing so far?

I thought you can only post cars from year 2012 and up?
I thought you could only post cars from year 2012 and up?
@@chistianjoshua9498has to be no more than 12 years old at time of posting. So their older cars were posted in previous years (2020,2021, etc)..
How you have older vehicles? Turo requires for the vehicle not to be 12 years and older.
I believe the term you're looking for is Focii
I love the value in the info you provide. I will be buying a course from you soon.
I ❤ Turo. I rent something on every vacation and weekend get away. Usually a current model of a RX, navigator, Tahoe Denali, etc.
What year is the Rx you rent ?
When you rent do you get the Turo insurance?
Great video, economy cars it’s where it’s at
Agree❤
If focus makes the most profit ratio wise wouldn’t it make sense to only rent focuses? Low maintenance costs always rented?
I’m so confused. What is the limit to how old the car can be? I thought it can’t be older than 12 years?
For a car that’s new to turo yes but as long as it’s less than 12 years old by the time of your first trip then it doesn’t matter after thar
that’s a nice loophole
Hello, Aubrie. Thanks for a great content! Which software/crn you are using to track cars statistics?
She has another video on it. Lemme think about it. 🤔🤣🤷♂️
CarSync is the one I believe. Lookup her video "This is a must have tool for all Turo hosts."
@@johnPxIVthank you, I'll google it

Thanks for the transparency!
How are you renting the 2007 ford focus? I thought turo had age restriction policies on vehicles over 12-15 years old
When you say prpfit do you allow for depreciation?

I'm very confused too, turo didn't let me list my 2014 car because it had more than 140k miles. This was in 2019
I think Turo doesn't care as long as it qualifies from the beginning...pretty wierd

Do u have personal insurance aswell? Other then turo insurance? How do u deal with taxes? Have u registered a company for turo fleet?
@AubreyJanik were you able to include the Mercedes as specialty car? Or when you bought was it still allowed on Turo?
How do you buy cars so cheap?

Seems like a stretch for sure, in my market a ford focus that would qualify for Turo are no less 8k
@@cp___46do you go to auctions?
Where you store all these cars
No need, looks like she rents them all.
She rents a lot a few minutes from her home.
Hey I thought turo only allowed you to host cars made in the last 12yrs ?
What?? At 0:12 impossible to figure out? Quite simple bookkeeping IMHO. You do keep books right? When you buy tires, which car do they go on? There is an invoice and a receipt, easy peasy. That's how you run a business.
How’d you get a 2007 focus on there if Turo policy states nothing older than 12 years.
That’s my question

Have yall considered buying newer used cars that would have less issues? Seems like the these cheap cars eat your pockets with maintenance
Depreciation
What market is this?
Can we list older than 12 years d cars? As for Mercedes?
Was looking hard at a 2012 Fusion/Mkz so I will steer clear TY!
Don't the cars have to be 12 years old maximum?
Usually Mercedez requires premium gas, so how do you make sure that renters refuel with premium gas.
Few tank cycle of different grade of gas won’t hurt much. Unless they put diesel. I just fill it up w premium as soon as I can after return
Great video! Is there a specific reason you don't own any Honda in your fleet?
They are really expensive, compared to economy cars. They like to pay around 6k per car, that will buy you a 2009 Honda Civic with 150k miles
@@claudioscollo I agree. But it's the same for Toyota
I think they got the toyota a long time ago when you were able to get economy cars for 4k
Great info
2nd gen focus are cult classic in the making . Anything after 12 are not good.
Great video! Thank you!
Some of your cars are over the 12 year limit. How do you get them on the platform?
She got them on back when they would qualify so if it’s a 2007 she probably listed it before 2019 so yeah she’s had it up ever since
I thought vehicles aren’t suppose to be are t suppose to be more than 12 years old? How did you manage to have a 2009 in there?
What auto insurance company accepts peer to peer rentals and turo
2009 Mercedes ect.? isn't it Turo requirements the vehicle not to be 12 years old and no more than 130k miles?

Those double clutches fail all the time. A buddy of mine had two of them replaced under warranty by 120k miles
