The topic is relevant to all clinicians working in the hospital’s busy area which is emergency and critical care. More so, up to 20% of ICU admissions have an underlying cancer diagnosis. Cancer patients may present either as complications of cancer itself or as complications of cancer therapy during the course of treatment.
