BRETT AND JUSTIN HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT YET ARE SO SERIOUS
I also love that they each have their own approach. Brett is trying to figure out what it sounds like in English, while Justin is just wildly making stuff up.

It's sorta like Mexican slang, not commonly used but commonly known in like "the Mexican hood"?
I’ve heard all these words in Mexican telenovelas
Me in Spanish class
@@BettyVilzor "Creepear", never!
"That doesn't exist you're making this up woman " LOL 😂
Phlor he brought the inner Rogelio out of him
Crepear wtfff es eso
He's right, though. Never heard it.
Phlor I SWEAR😂
All this slang is Mexican. The cast is Caribean. The only one that knows is Jaime because he's actually Mexican.
I love you, Jaime!

@@nataliah.9101 Yes Gina Rodriguez is Puerto Rican like me. Crudo is raw in Puerto Rico.

Justin on first question: *you just.. smoked weed... and you’re really hungry*
why did you only show Andrea (Xiomara) for like a second and none of her answers?
Idk, maybe her answers weren't as interesting any others.
When you said Andrea I was like “who now?” But then you said Xiomara and I was like “ohhhhhh” lmao.
maybe she only had time to answer that one question
maybe hers were all right and they wanted them to get them wrong or something to make it funny
@@kat-jt8tz I don't think so, actually she doesn't speak Spanish
I swear Brett and Justin, Thought they knew exactly what they meant they where so confident. LMFAOOO
i died when justin winked. He is so hot
alex ruso frsssss

SAME
“What kind of Spanish are you talking to me?” - ivonne coll.
I felt that. Hard. This is just Mexican slang. I only knew crudo as meaning “raw”
Andrea G i watched that scene while i read it
I’m Mexican and I don’t even know some words lol really don’t know what Spanish is
JAJAJAJA Jamás he escuchado la mayoría de las palabras que preguntaron, Rogelio vivió la mayor parte de su vida en México y también estaba sacado de onda
In Argentina means raw 🤷
2:36 “ur making this up woman” i died
"It's a very sexy chamber, CHAMBA." XD
JUSTIN WINKED AND I FUCKING MELTED
Sarah SAMEE FUUUUUCCKKKK
Ikr
THIS IS MEXICAN AND NOT ALL OF THE LATINOS ARE MEXICANN I’m getting tired of this 💆🏻♀️ there are Puerto Rican’s an more Latinos
I'm not Latin or Mexican but I agree with u
Not all of it are Mexican slang. After Chamba everything was legit Spanglish. Friziar...yeah no mexican ever uses that word. But I agree with you.
Ikr im from dominican republic and I didn't know what they were talking about
Not all latinos speak spanish too, shout out to Brazil
ikr i'm from Chile and I didn't understand almost anything lmao
i love how brett and justin are making up completely different definitions and im living for it
This isn't spanglish, this is Mexican slang
yeah some, but crepear and frizear? I've never ever heard of those
marieatlavie That's not common Spanglish in the US either. I'm from Texas, and our Spanish is mostly Spanglish, but I've never heard those terms before. Maybe they're used in California.
some of it is slang, others it is Spanglish. They aren't words.
In Texas pretty much every Spanish speaker speaks Spanglish. They are words...that's how new languages are formed. One day it may branch out into its own language. But it's mostly Mexican slang in this video. Mexican slang is so annoying to me. :-/
i was thinking the same
rogelio knew everything.. i love michael's answers hHa
michelle bunay Rogelio’s actor is Mexican anyways (Jaime Camil)
Michael and Rafael's respond was hilarious!!
"That doesn't exist, you're making this up, woman" 😂 I love Jaime
most of these are mexican slang which is why only jaime (rogelio) knows them. Gina(jane), Andrea (Xo) and ivonne (alma) are all puerto rican and justin is italian. and "spanglish" isn't slang words its just when you replace english words with spanish because you cant find the word for it at the moment so you end up with a mixed language sentence. "i ate the manzana" meaning "i ate the apple" would be "speaking spanglish" even though none of those words are slang.
^^ Yesssssss.
Jaime is Mexican
MJ Pink
exactly. thats what i just said. "most of these are mexican which is why only he knows them everyone else is puerto rican"
spanglish is also when you combine spanish and english and make out something different
Wilmarie
yesh exactly. non of the words they are saying are spanglish. thats just mexican slang.
edit: *yes.
i got a case of the sean connerys there
I love how dedicated they were to making stuff up... crepes on bread with vegan mayo 😂
😂😂thats why i love brett and Justin answers
crepe e "all" 😂😂
im vegan and it felt so random how he felt the need to specify vegan mayo LOL
You forgot about the caviar!!!!!!
Jaime(Rogelio): *YOU'RE MAKING THIS UP WOMAN*
Justin and Brett cracked me up😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Also YOURE MAKING THIS UP WOMAN😂😂😂😂😂
The first few words were not Spanglish but just Mexican slang...
I know right!
exactly. totally different. just like jaime said they made the last ones up.
That was just what I was thinking
Exactly!
Exactly
The only one that knew some words was Jaime Camil and because he's Mexican, that was just mexican slang.
The person that acts as Michael is amazing even the person that acts as Rafael had funny explanations
Brett and Justin have no clue and I’m peeing my pants
The moment you realise that Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni) was the fencing instructor on the Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Seriona Derevestav omg
OMG WHAT
i was today years old when i found this out
I love Justin and Brett's answers lmfao
+AccioGlamour especially chamba and creepear :D
Haha, they say it with a straight face as well
I love Michaels explanations 😂
“you’re making this up, woman” 😂😂 omg I was dead i couldn’t breathe 😂😂😂🤷♀️
"you're just making these up woman" lmao Justin hahaha
Jaime*
He is jamie
@@ridafatima9583 Jaime, not jamie
Justin = raf
Jaime = rogelio
Brett = michael
It would help if they gave spanish words that are actually used...😑
They are used just they were really just mexican slang :/
They actually ARE used, I'm mexican :)
I use them
No manches
I use all of them😂
I love how Justin is so serious and confident in his answers😂😂
Omg Brett and Justing (michael+rafael) had me dyingggg at their made up answers 😂😂
EXACTO
Spanish? This is basically Mexican slang.
randomgirl013 🤦🏽♀️
Toscania I. Fulgencio Reyes it is mexican slang though
Omg😂😂😂 I love how justin was so serious and confident the whole time🤣🤣
raised in puerto rico and never in my life have i heard the term "creepear"
that’s cuz it’s mostly mexican slang
Isabel Aviles I'm Mexican and I never use or heard that term.
Maria Bedolla same ive heard of it but i don’t use it
because OBVIOUSLY Americans think that the only Spanish that exists is Mexican Spanish 🙄
Kitty Rodriguez Barani but that’s not even “mexican”
they talking mexican spanish so is way different then our puertorican spanish
+Marialee Guzman true because Im puertorican and I speak a lot of spanglish and I never heard any of those words.
+Marialee Guzman I'm mexican and actually have lived in mexico and there were some words that I had never heard before so I'm sure it was a mixture
born and raised in Mexico, never heard of creepear and frizear? perhaps STALKEAR sí
+marieatlavie totalmente!! crepear jamas, stalkear si jaja
and than other spanish speaking countries
"With vegan mayonnaise"
Brett Dier's answers were everything. Also Rogelio was slaying the answers and Justin's wink was so hot.
“To be creepy?” “Yes” *smirk*. “ITS WHEN YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF CREPES AND THERES ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE”
"your making this up women"
I love their made up answers xD Also Jaime's "You're making this up, woman!" xD
I love this cast. I would've loved it if Yael was there too though! Full cast, best thing ever :D
“What kind of Spanish are you talking to me” 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Michael’s actor & Justin are the funniest guys 😂
"Crudo" is raw for us, Colombians. So it's not fair they used Mexican idioms to test their knowledge in Spanish.
Crudo is raw for pretty much every Spanish speaking country except Mexico lmao...
True. We use "guayabo" in my hometown when having a hangover.
+ecofriendlyhippie in Mexico as well, I use crudo/a for both raw and hangover, it mostly comes from a saying people tell you when you been drinking a lot "la CRUDA realidad" and that's where the cruda falls into the hangover because it's the raw reality that you feel like shit! Lol 😊😂
+anmarama 1980 I think it depends on the concept of what you are talking about because "crudo" can be use as both raw and hangover just different on how you use it. I know, its weird.
+Ana A I' I'm a linguist :) Every country has different dialects and expressions that differ immensely. These terms are not from standard Spanish but a particular country, I heard most of them from my Mexican friends. But if you don't have Mexican friends who can teach you, like the Venezuelan actress who plays the granny, it'd be hard to understand and find an equivalence of the terminology unless they give the actors an example or put the phrases in context.
No, but all they are saying is Mexican Spanish slang words and most of them are Puerto Ricans that are actually Native Hispanics ..., they should title the video "Jane the Virgin cast put to the Mexican Slang Spanglish " . wHY ?? BECAUSE every Hispanic nationality have their own unique Spanglish. For example, people from the Caribbean we use a lot of Spanglish words but from our Caribbean broken spanish and Mexico have their own too.
Arianna Rosewing I totally agree. Every Latin country has their own kind of slang and this video only showed Mexican Slang
Arianna Rosewing exactly I'm Puerto Rican and like I don't understand anything just crudo
Fabiana Soto ahhahahah I know... is just because they included only Mexican Slang
Wepaguey 😂😂😂
You just smoked weed 🤦♀️🤣🤣😂 omg Justin was so serious
Michael was so creative while answering haha! And Hey omg rogelio in a completely different style!! Jane looking gorgeous 😍And yes I'm using the serial names ;)
this is just Mexican slang
DJ Trevi no Spanglish would be “déjame call you back”
@@DJTreviCSRecordings ese tipo de acento no existe en español c:
I always thought Spanglish was when you went back and forth between Spanish and English, while talking. I really thought most of these were just Mexican slang words, I guess you learn something new everyday lol.
No, you're right. It's mostly Mexican slang, *not* Spanglish (with the exceptions of creepear and frizar depending on your definition...).
Also, the interviewer's pronunciation sucks.
Naw you’re right and this is Mexican slang lol
2:36 Your making this up woman😂😂
“Crudo” not really/truly always means hangover...
this is mexican spanglish....
omg ikr
boi im mexican i dont know most of these
omfg she fucken dead You don’t know no manches? Chamba? I hear these on a daily basis
ikr
I am venezuelan and that is not spanish or spanglish. That is mexican slang and guess what.... not every latin person comes from Mexico. Sorry to break it to you
Celina C. it's racist to assume all latinos would understand slang from a spanish speaking country. i'm white but don't understand british slang because i don't live in england
AGREED
Jacqueline White not true, the Latino community in the USA is very diverse. If they were gonna use only Mexican slang they should have called it that, not ‘spanglish’ because it’s not
Not even Mexican slang really
"You're making this up woman."
(muffled, as the outro begins to play) "I swear!"
"You're making this up woman" 😂😂
what the fuck is Michael saying?????😂😂😂😂😂
what the eff Brett Dier hahahahaha i laughed so effin hard with his explanations.. the guy will go more places hahaha
“You’re making these up woman”😂😂😂
"You're making this up woman!" xDDD Best part! Lo adoro k gracioso es jaja
it's so weird hearing abuela speak English 😅
Spaniard here. No fucking idea of what 90% of those are.
Elvira R I'm chilean and neither do I! hahah
im from puerto rico and didn't get half of it
Im mexican
I love how justin explains everything with confidence like a pro lol
“You’re making this up woman” 🤣
"You're making this up women!"
Omg lol I died! Live Jaime Camil
"you're making this up woman" dead
Rogelio: "that doesn't exist, you're making this up women" 😂
Bret’s explanation is so funny🤣🤣🤣
This sounds more like mexican slang than spanglish.
all this is mexican slang!!! slang changes between latin american countries
exactly, it supposed to be about venezuelans too :(
it's another beautiful day to be Rogelio, wake up Rogelio...
Hands down the best character in the entire show 😂😂
All of Brett and Justin’s answers 😂
I FUCKING LOVE THIS CAST SO MUCH I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING
Uhm as a Mexican, why would I expect non-Mexicans to understand. That's crazy! And we never use "crudo" as "hungover". I'm with them, what kind of Spanish are you talking?
As a mexican actually living in Mexico, we do use "crudo" to say hungover. That's the most common, colloquial way of saying it.
justin and brett were 100% serious in their definitions and i’m here for it
Michael man 😂😂😂 the dude is a trip! He's so creative with his replies 😂😂😂😂
It's a very sexy chamber, chamba😏😂😂 Michael is soo cute and funny!
Eso es "mexicano" no Español.
En mi país "Crudo" es algo que no está bien cocinado.
"No manches" es como decir "no manches la ropa con pintura".
"Chamba" no existe.
"Frizar" y "creepear" nunca las había escuchado hasta ahora.
Afirmo! That's mexican spanish slang.
En mi pais frizar es congelar algo
Entendí chamba porque aquí en perú también lo dicen
Pensé lo mismo !!! Preguntaron cosas nada que ver
'Crudo' means hangover AND something raw! XD
1. This cast is so cute and funny!
2. Crudo actual means both hangover and raw.
3. Loved this video!
Brett is actually me
😂😂Brett was on point
I love this cast honestly, they are exactly how they are in the show and I love it
HAHAHAHA Jorge Camil at the end "That (word) doesn't exist, you're making this up woman!"
Brett's definitions were killing me "There's enough crepes for everyone." I love him so much 😍😍😍
"That doesn't exist! You're making this up woman!"
I love him 😂😂
1:53 alba and me are saying the same thing!WHAT KIND OF SPANISH IS THIS!?🤣🤣🤣
"you're making this up women " LMAO I LOVE HIM
