As of recently, according to warningsirensofwisconsin, this siren is now officially dead. As to whether or not it's a bad motor or contactor, I'm not sure. The replacement project has been paused for now but when/if it resumes, this siren is likely next to get taken down.
Awesome video! Being an aspiring church organist and pianist, I loved the hymns on those chimes too! For those curious they go by as the order heard. 1. Praise God from Whom all Blessings Flow 2. Love Devine, All Loves Excelling 3. Leaning on the Everlasting Arms 4. Bringing in the Sheaves
More than likely, this is the last video of this thing running at least 1 of the signals before its inevitable removal. Overall, great video and quality! I love the echoes!
Same thing happened when I was filming the South Milwaukee P-50 but present at the "ASC" Allertor that NEVER went off at all. Idk what is causing part of Milwaukee's siren to act up like this.
I might hear this next week as my college campus is close to it. Hope it works lol Edit: ended up doing the moody park P-15 as I didn’t trust this thing. Good thing I didn’t go as it failed today
I have some unfortunate news to share about this siren. According to warningsirensofwisconsin, This siren is now officially dead. I don't have much more information as to how this thing died. if it's the motor or a contactor. But I can say for sure that it's not a radio problem. The replacement project has been paused for now but when/if it resumes, This siren is most likely gonna be next to be taken down.
@ yeah I am well aware. So glad I didn’t do that siren lmfao next month I am prb doing the Merrill park P-50 as that one works flawlessly and I heard it from the location of the P-15 after the P-15 wound down after doing alert
Nice video! This siren not going off for alert is the result of the new fast DTMF tones being used. The control boards that receive the tones from the radio inside this and other older sirens dont really work well with the fast DTMF. The P-50 in greenfield park also did not go off for alert but did for attack.
@@neptuneWX actually, that one has already been replaced with a New T-128. A video is already out. I should also probably mention this too. And I'm embarrassed I fell for this. The whole information about a few penetrators, 2 allertors and the hurricane staying has been confirmed to be false. It was a statement made by an SWS "informant" who actually lives in Wichita and is by no means affiliated to SWS. The lead tech came out to confirm the info to be false and that all of the sirens in Milwaukee are slated for replacement with no deadline for each individual siren. As for the hurricane, there's been kinda conflicting information about it. No confirmations yet. But last I heard, they are gonna install a new T-128 at the ASC headquarters which is only a few blocks away and keep using the hurricane until it fails and by then they would just remove the siren and the T-128 would completely take over for that area. Not exactly sure if that's true or not yet though. I am truly sorry that I had spreaded misinformation.
Go see the alerters go see a few p 50s p10s thunderbolts t 35s t128s see all the tornadoes sirens before they are gone in Milwaukee iWisconsin in the state of Wisconsin. /
It's a shame I'll never get to see this beast IRL, but the recordings are still amazing!
RIP Whitefish Bay, WI ACA allertoe 125. You have always been the heslthiert allertor in Milwaukee County.
Epic video! Glad a new video of it is up before it's gone.
It’s getting taken down?
@@Somanypranksall of the old siren are being replaced.
@@ValenDRV somebody should call dibs on this Allertor

Nice recording! shame it was late, that audio is incredibly good.

I think the radios have been a bit wonky since they switched to fast DTMF. It seems like Milwaukee County as a whole is a gamble at this point.
Same thing at Greenfield park. Only went for attack.
🤔
The bells sing whilst sirens are going off haha 😂😂😂😂
Those echos on the wind down defiantly sounded like it can travel for atleast 1-2 miles
❤❤❤📢📢📢📢
awesome video! nice to see this still working! looks like the green coloring is starting to some off revealing the yellow, still great though
The extra 5HP really helps its high pitch despite being single phase. Wonder what a 3 phase 15HP unit would sound like.
Chaska, MN had a 3 phase 15 HP Allertor. Richfield and Bloomington, MN also had one, although both of those were reverse wired.
@@Thunderbolt1000Tfan Could I potentially use this in a video on my main channel? It's kinda hard to find recording these high pitched Allertors lol

@SirensAndAlarmsOfNorthernIL Ya, Is that the P-50 that was reversed wired but they recently rewired it properly?
Is it just me or does it look fun to be on that platform?
Yeah, I went to a picnic the other day I saw the siren it’s big I wonder what the replace them with
Oh boy, sirens come and go enjoy them while you can Are going to be replaced
what are those chimes coming from?

The other Allertor will most likely be the South Milwaukee “ASC” Allertor 125
