This song makes you want to dance love it
Yay! I would like to thank whoever requested this song. I couldn't for the life of me, remember who sang it, now I know.
Another great song.I remember skating to. Love you guys for bringing back the memories💖
Great one hit wonder. I was confused why they couldnt do a few more songs like this. Believe they had one after this but nothing to the popularity of this. Great upbeat song.
Grand Funk Railroad..."Inside Looking Out" 1969 live version....you will be blown away
Yes yes yes!
I agree completely. 👍
Not heard this one before. Great 60s vibe. 🎙🎵👍
Groovy! Unfortunately, Crazy Elephant was pretty much a one hit wonder, afaik. But there were other songs from back then with broadly similar themes and sonic vibes, including The Spencer Davis Group "Gimme Some Lovin", The Kinks "All Day and All of the Night", The Who "I Can't Explain", The Rascals "Good Lovin", The Chambers Brothers "Time Has Come Today", Booker T. & the MG's "Time Is Tight", The Human Beinz "Nobody But Me", Tommy James & The Shondells "Mony Mony", The McCoys "Hang On Sloopy", The Marketts "Out Of Limits", Roger Simard "Mary Mary", The Castaways "Liar, Liar", Manfred Mann "Do Wah Diddy Diddy", Dave Clark Five "Bits And Pieces", The Velvet Underground "Run Run Run", The Flamin' Groovies "Louie Louie", and The Stooges "Down in the Street" along with others I've inadvertently overlooked.
definatly a take off from Spencer Davis Group and others for sure
My step Dad's band did this song a lot !!! (yeah, I'm old)
the guy in yellow face on cover was a friend of mine , Hal king one of the lead singers who worked with crazy Elephant> he told me the group was a take off on the Spencer Davis group, with Stevie Winwood
This was the biggest hit for Crazy Elephant in 1969. They are considered a bubblegum pop band & had a few other songs such as "Hips & Lips", "Gimme Some More", "Sunshine Red Wine" etc. but didn't have much success later.
Great songs and great music great live band
I thought I was the only one who remembered this, thank you requester! Here's another truly great one hit wonder that all the reaction listeners are missing (Except one guy that I've seen, but he didn't have the good version), and that song is..." 96 Tears" early black and white version.
Great song, it's in my collection of 45 rpms
Always played this great song in the late 60s. They also had another great song, Sunshine, Red Wine, which was a minor hit. I still have their album "Crazy Elephant", with lots of good tracks, including "Pam" , which i like a lot.
I'm sure I had this on a K-Tel album, 20 Explosive Hits or something like that.
young ones have no idea we had real dance music
