Ryan thanks for sharing the personal side of yourself to the viewers. Sorry for your loss....for both you and your mum. I hope that your mum gets back into her gardens AND that you share the results with us. Thanks also for introducing us to Izzy and Jed, I have 4 rescues myself. Keep on keeping on 😊
I can tell your backyard was beautiful once and I'm sure it will be again. My heartfelt condolences to you and your mother. May you and she find healing and peace in your garden.
Lost my dad over 4 years ago mate, started with prostate cancer, that metastasised into pancreatic cancer. Miss him every day. But I will tell you that the sadness does ease and when you think of him it will be of your fonder memories and experiences you shared. When you get into those garden beds, I reckon they’d make a couple of good videos. Cheers mate. Enjoy your weekend
Ryan, so sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing with us. Also thank you for rescuing Izzy and Jed. You come across as a very caring and compassionate soul. Hopefully your mum will get back into the gardening, it can be a great healer.
My condolences to you and your Mom. I lost my husband of 42 years and it took awhile to move on. Love your yard and your hope for the future. Love your pups too.
So sorry for the loss of your father. It’s truly inspiring that you’re there for your family in these difficult times. Connecting through nature has a unique way of healing, and spending time in your beautiful yard with your pets can provide comfort. Your strength is a beacon of hope for your family. Stay strong.
Thank you so much for sharing a bit of yourself with us. I am sorry for your loss. Your your backyard is lovely. I hope you continue to share the progress with the back garden with us. It was nice meeting the pups as well. I think that getting that back garden back in shape is going to be good for both you and your mom. Much love to you and your family.
My son is in Chemo and the 2 of us are dealing with that. He has stage 4 Lung Cancer. We support each other. and it truly is a growing process together. His 4th treatment is this coming Tuesday on the 6th. I always try to keep things in balance because If I dont I think the cancer will take over and shift the emphasis on the illness itself. My son is not my enemy but the cancer is. I was saddened to hear of your dads passing. The emotional exhaustion will take some time to recuperate from. Let your fond memories of your dad be near and dear to you. God bless you both!!!
Most tradies are at the bottom of the list of things to do at home. In this hot summer just sit and plan the future videos of this garden. The layout is nice so clearing and eventually new plants will make an oasis for contemplation and rest. Thanks for sharing.
So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. It is so hard to lose a parent. Thank you for sharing that with us. I find it very healing to be in nature. Bless you and your family. ❤
What a beautiful lawn you have. Looks like velvet. Can't wait to see the gardens restored when possible. Hope we get a second tour. Good luck on your mission to help others.
So sorry to hear about your dad, my deepest sympathies to you and mom & family. Beautiful gardens, looking forward to see what else you do to it. ✨✨✨✨✨
I loved this video. My husband also had prostate cancer. Luckily we were able to catch it early enough. So sorry to hear about your dad. Love from the USA
I'm sorry to hear of your loss. Grief knows no time. A beautiful yard and I know the garden will be beautiful once again. Hello to the dog babies. I love dogs❤
Beautiful garden. Prayers for you and your family. I lost my dad 2 years ago at 89 from a heart attack and my mom last year. She had alzheimers. A very cruel disease. I was her only caregiver for 7 years. It is devastating to lose one's parents. That foundation gets rocked and you are faced with a tremendous loss that seems, at times, to never heal. But we must always find a way to move forward, one step at a time.
My thoughts are with you, your mom, and your family, Ryan. I lost my husband to cancer four and a half years ago. It's still very hard. This is the first time I've felt any kind of energy to get out and start doing some work in the yard, which is something I always enjoyed in the past. It's Spring here so there is hope for my neglected lawn and beds. So sorry for your loss. Take care of each other.
Ryan, I am so sorry for your loss. Know that whatever your beliefs are, he is watching over you two. Give your mom a hug for me❤ You have a wonderful backyard. I look forward to seeing how you two put it back together. Working in the soil heals, your body needs that connection to the earth. The puppies are adorable, so glad you saved them. I have gotten behind on your videos so I am going to go catch up now lol Take care and I will see you on the next one!😁
Upřímnou soustrast vám i vaší mamince. Vždy je to velká ztráta a velký smutek. Mně nedávno zemřel manžel na zákeřnou nemoc, tak vím o čem mluvím. A pejsky jsme dva oplakali. Už žádného nechci. Ryane, ale příroda svým ojedinělým způsobem uzdravuje duši člověka a ty se v ní hodně pohybujes! Díky za ní Bohu! Kéž to brzy přeboli. Tady jsi jim to tam hezky upravil a to přináší také radost nejen tobě ale i majitelům. Myslím na tebe. 🌟Jana 🌟👍👍👍❇️✴️✳️
Thanks for sharing your family life. Sorry for your family loss. It’s always hard to lose a love one. Sending prayers! I see that your yard is a nice place to relax and it will get back to where it once was.
Interesting yard with lots of features. 👍 It is so hard to lose someone and takes time to get back sometimes. A good friend of ours has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 prostate cancer, and my father had it too. Loathsome disease. Lovely dogs. Anyone who loves dogs is right with me. 👏👏🐕🐕🦺
Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my mom to kidney cancer in 2015 and it is still hard. There is a whole world out here that feels for you and your mom! ❤ Beautiful yard by the way! And what can one say about rescued dogs! Good on you!!!
So sorry for the loss of your Dad! I love your yard but it looks like you have your hands full due to the size and the planting area. Such a nice place to sit and relax after looking after others and working so hard. Ever thought of adding a hot tub? Seems like a good idea for such a hard worker. Please look after yourself and take time to “smell the roses”.
Jed might be a troublemaker, but he's adorable, and so is Izzy. The lawn came up really nicely, I'm sure it will help your mum feel like being out there a little more too. Very nice of you to think of donating proceeds as well. Hard year for you all.
I’m sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing, Ryan. Losing our loved ones is gut wrenching, and it takes a long time to come to terms with it. I hope your good memories of your Dad will help offset your sadness. I love your dogs! They are real cuties. Funny how there is always one rascal- Jed, we are looking at you! You have a lovely yard for them to romp in, and it cleaned up beautifully. ❤️🇨🇦
Pancreatic cancer is a silent killer, we lost our sister in law at only 49 yrs old. She was a domiciliary midwife, cancer was detected in the September and she passed away the following July, my condolences to all your family especially your Mum losing her partner, you are a good son looking after her ppty. Keep videoing, I’ll keep watching. God Bless you from Geelong❤😊😊😊
I lost my dad to cancer when I was 12. Now 66 and I still sometimes just weep from missing him. Hugs to you and your mum. I hope your rescue dogs bring you some comfort. I know my rescue dogs (3 large ones) bring me comfort. Grief makes it really hard to function. I like the idea someone below had, of a memorial garden for your dad. It might be a good motivation for your mom to plan it, then start to plant it. Did he have a favorite color? or favorite plant? Or does a certain color remind you of him? My dad was an Episcopal minister, so the deep colors of his vestments remind me of him-green, red, purple.
Hello! Great video! The life of gardener. son and father. Great to meet the dogs Jed and Izzy! Thanks for sharing your story and your mom's and dad's as well! George from Florida, USA

So nice of you to share your home & talk about your dear dad. It sure is hard. One day at a time. Your lawn looks beautiful Ryan. You are very kind & thoughtful.
How nice of you to share a little of your private life. The lawn is so beautiful. Once your mom gets back on her feet she will tend the garden as therapy. That’s what I did when I lost my husband to prostatic cancer. It is an ugly disease and takes lives way too soon. Your dogs are so beautiful. So healthy and friendly. I really enjoyed your tour. Kind of makes me feel like I know you better. Please film when the gardens are back. My best to you and mom. Maybe next time we could meet her. 😊
Think your garden is lovely. You can tell even tho the grass has gone wild. Pray God watches over you whilst going thru this grieving progress. Please stay safe
Hi Ryan! Don’t cut the Nasturtiums ! 😱they’re wonderful in a salad! I know, they’re a weed by you guys down under. Anyway, you’ve got a beautiful yard. Your grass is so green and lush, is it couch grass? Oh, Ryan…love the dogs. Sorry about your dad. Peace and love to you and your family. Thank you for sharing part of your life.
Gosh, you, your Mum and family have had it tough this past year. As time passes, your Mum will be able to enjoy the garden once more, but it does take time. Take care of yourselves and God Bless. 😊❤😊

Thank you for sharing personal information with us. What was the pile of dirt in the back for and what's the story on the netted trees?
Pile of dirt is to be used for small pots of herbs/veggies that we will grow. The nets on fruit trees are a deterrent for possums and birds.
👍🏻
Sorry for your family, loss. 🙏🏻 amazing trimming and your pups are adorable. Good luck in your videos .
