Loyola was a powerhouse ranked 22nd. What this video doesn't show is that Loyola was showcasing the talent of Marcus and Jeff Jordan the sons of Michael Jordan. Eric was playing that night wearing the number 23 with MJ in the crowd. Eric put on an epic clinic that night! On of the best high school games I have ever watched. If someone could post the complete game with commentary. Well worth it!
This was one of the better single games I have ever seen. He was 20 times better than any of the other players on teh court. he scored from all areas on the court. He played great defense and he beat a nationally ranked team. This kid has a great future.
Ever since I saw the first game of his on national television, I've been hyping him up to be the greatest player since Jordan. He better not make a fool of me!
man hes so fast and powerful with his dribble, he makes up so much ground in a few dribbles like Tony Parker, hes not a juke you out type of dribbler like derrick rose, hes like a train when he makes that one cut hes going, great talent
that boy is outerageous.whata good person i listened to one of his pressconfrences so humble and how he hold himself.theres no one messin with him not even oj!
i like his energy. he's so raw and has such a naturally good shooting feel. speed and power. not comparing him to anyone when im saying that, just saying what i think
i agree, he scored 25 pts tonight to go along with four steals and a block, wow. he played 36 minutes, hopefully dunleavy gets his head out his ass and start him like he did today. he's a baller...
eric gordon is the best high school basketball player in the history of high school basketball...i dont think you understand...i get to play with him sometimes, he is absolutely ridiculous..i dont think i have ever seen him miss, he makes everything look sooo easy, he is also a great passer. you need to watch more of his reels
true eric doesn't move without the ball like a stephen curry does and he needs to work on that. he also needs to work on his descion making especially on his passing some times. but he has such a high pro potential.
reminds me of a young Ray Allen, but probably more explosive to the basket than Ray ever was. Guy should be taken in the top 3, instant offense...and the range he has on his jumper already is eerie....
Too bad Gordon and Derrick Rose didn't choose the same University. They would have been the best collegiate backcourt in history even it it only lasted one year.
gordon needs to work on his handles, take more shots in the final 2 minutes of games, stop charging, and then he will be more nba material. he has the DEEPEST range in the history of basketball, great defender, great free throw shoter, and can drive to the basket well. he still is my favorite college player but he needs improvement
fo reals tho his jumper is hella clean in the NBA. If he does what kobe did and put on 12 pounds of muscle definition during the summer, he would be better than ray allen ever was
Attacks the Rim like a Kamikaze Running Back on a Mission. Steve Francis with more power and a jump shot. Going to be a good year for IU Fans! I like the song b/c he is going to the place that's the best - bloomington, good luck rest of the Big Ten! HA HA
Eric Gordon Is A Very good ball handler He Can Play Both The 1 and 2 Guards And He Can Shoot the ball But He Needs To Be A Little more Patient with the ball He Is also very explosive for his height at 6'4 220 Pounds
EJ is a big 6'2 and thats eric junior people call him EG but he has to brothers named evan and erron we can't call them all EG LOL!!! Set the record at IU for points per game as a rookie !!
kevin love is not undersized. he is a legit 6'10". he also isn't overweight, he is 260. which is pretty much the same as alonzo mourning. love just has a body that doesn't build muscle as well
I watched that whole game gordon looked like a man playing wit boys and jeffrey jordan(mj son) looks like he could be really good but he has no agression what so ever
man i was at the game and he was shittin on em man he in my class 1st period and he coo as fuck too and its funny cuz if he aint scorin hes rebounding assisting or anything hes a beast in the makein and watch out for his 2 lil bros #32 on NC is his lil bro evan

Well JxmyHighroller made a short documentary for that
This was one of the better single games I have ever seen. He was 20 times better than any of the other players on teh court. he scored from all areas on the court. He played great defense and he beat a nationally ranked team. This kid has a great future.
u was right rick
Most dominate HS game I ever seen. Got dam!!
This was the game my parents were watching the day b4 I was born
This must have been one of the first viral videos on UA-cam
i don't know how mutch points he will drop the first season, but what i do know is: Eric Gordon is the biggest Warrior in this years draft, period.
dominant performance. 47 points against Michael jordan kids on espn
That jam at the end was such a nice exclamation point
Ever since I saw the first game of his on national television, I've been hyping him up to be the greatest player since Jordan. He better not make a fool of me!
He made a fool of you but he's still a good player
L
He definitely made a fool of you but he’s not a bum
man hes so fast and powerful with his dribble, he makes up so much ground in a few dribbles like Tony Parker, hes not a juke you out type of dribbler like derrick rose, hes like a train when he makes that one cut hes going, great talent
Gordon is amazing. Bayless from Arizona is quite similar to him in the fact that they are such strong, physical guards.
my favorite player ever
Nice! Has a nice first step, quick as a cheetah, and great shooting range...you have to start guarding him at half-court.
Damn. Heard about this kid. Watching him right now vs. Michigan. Can't wait to see him develop.
some sick repertoire of moves there. especially impressed by the jumpstop near the end.
that boy is outerageous.whata good person i listened to one of his pressconfrences so humble and how he hold himself.theres no one messin with him not even oj!
Eric Gordon + DJ White + AJ Ratliff = Scary for the Big Ten
he is mad smooth with pro moves. this kid is gonna be a player
i watched this shit he had 15 points in the first quarter and that dunk at the end was ridiculous
i like his energy. he's so raw and has such a naturally good shooting feel. speed and power. not comparing him to anyone when im saying that, just saying what i think
at the time loyola was the second rated team out of illinois, North Central was 4th or 5th in Indiana and they won by 40.
gordon got crazy range. he reminds me a little to much of sebastian telefair tho, how he used to drive to the hole and cant do it in the nba as well.
Pretty awesome.. all that from just one game.
this is off topic but..
does anyone know the name of song that is bein played during this mix?
His jumpshot is so crazy.
Loyola was undefeated before this game. NC was only the 4th ranked team in Indiana and they killed the Illinois second-ranked Loyola.
i agree, he scored 25 pts tonight to go along with four steals and a block, wow. he played 36 minutes, hopefully dunleavy gets his head out his ass and start him like he did today. he's a baller...
eric was in one of my classes at north central
How was he?
air gordon is d-wade with a sick 3 pt shot. untouchable
What do you think of that comparison now?
How explosive is that Gordan kid. He got to wherever the on the court he wanted.
eric gordon is the best high school basketball player in the history of high school basketball...i dont think you understand...i get to play with him sometimes, he is absolutely ridiculous..i dont think i have ever seen him miss, he makes everything look sooo easy, he is also a great passer. you need to watch more of his reels
we can only hope
no jam,it's true
ESPN confirmed it
his player biography confirmed it
and imdb confirmed it
i was there. mj's kids are just as good as he was in high school. but i don't think they can do what he did.
true eric doesn't move without the ball like a stephen curry does and he needs to work on that. he also needs to work on his descion making especially on his passing some times. but he has such a high pro potential.
which is the title of the song?
reminds me of a young Ray Allen, but probably more explosive to the basket than Ray ever was. Guy should be taken in the top 3, instant offense...and the range he has on his jumper already is eerie....
how many points did he have that game?
his movements may be a little too big though... but its fun to watch that if youre a spectator
he is going to be the next sean may dude. the one from north carolina a couple years ago. we all knew he wasnt going to be shit in the nba
what is this song's name?
every body's forgeting about him
How many points did he have that game?
COMPLETE DOMINATION
Cool video, especially since the song isn't rap like it is in every other video. Eric Gordon is gonna be a really good NBA player too.
but he was born in NOVEMBER! It has only been three months since he turned 18.
You check the stats. Jeffrey was born on 11/18/88, that makes him not even 18 1/2. Marcus is still 16.
future clipper
Spirit in the sky from Norman Greenbaum
Why didn't you use the song Liar, Liar by the Castaways?
what kinda song is dis
lets hope they keep on letting him start
My point exactly.
Marcus camby got traded to the Clippers. He is the "?" in the starting line-up.
did anyone know that eric gordon played one of the jordan kids on space jam.....pretty ironic
Anyone got the final line on this game? It looked like he scored about 60% of the points...
is this the same dude who plays for the clippers?
Houston rockets
Yes
Too bad Gordon and Derrick Rose didn't choose the same University. They would have been the best collegiate backcourt in history even it it only lasted one year.
His style reminds me alot of Ginobili. He's like a Ginobili with an extra 20lbs of muscle, speed and a vertical.
eirc gordon is basically going to be a rich man's ben gordon in the nba... which is really good
got dam he snagged that rebound at 3:14
OMG, he's GOOD!
Damn GOOD!
gordon needs to work on his handles, take more shots in the final 2 minutes of games, stop charging, and then he will be more nba material. he has the DEEPEST range in the history of basketball, great defender, great free throw shoter, and can drive to the basket well. he still is my favorite college player but he needs improvement
Norman Greenbaum - Spirit in the Sky
yep and he's raw
Imagine the hype there would be if he was as good as he is now but the G in his last name was a J and MJ was his father.
fo reals tho his jumper is hella clean in the NBA. If he does what kobe did and put on 12 pounds of muscle definition during the summer, he would be better than ray allen ever was
wow
crazy
i can watch this millions of times he's amazing even better than oj
His career definitely turned out better than OJ’s
i remember da 1st time i saw him, he beat michael jordan's 2 sons who were playin against him. he dominated
hes got the build and skills of baron davis
calves mostly, but yea, wrists too. when it comes to shooting, u only need 2 slightly flick ur wrist 2 shoot. overdoing it will make u miss.
So Marcus is an 18 yr-old sophomore, you kidding me?
Jeffrey is 18, and Marcus is 16.
Attacks the Rim like a Kamikaze Running Back on a Mission. Steve Francis with more power and a jump shot. Going to be a good year for IU Fans! I like the song b/c he is going to the place that's the best - bloomington, good luck rest of the Big Ten! HA HA
there's no shortcuts when it comes to getting stronger. if there is, google it.
Eric Gordon Is A Very good ball handler He Can Play Both The 1 and 2 Guards And He Can Shoot the ball But He Needs To Be A Little more Patient with the ball He Is also very explosive for his height at 6'4 220 Pounds
hahaha it's 'spirit in the sky', dunno why you would wanna know that though :P
probably more than loyola's whole team scored
word!
MAN THAT WAS ONE HELL OF A performance! but d-rose is going to be a better pro
Eric gordon Dropped 43 points there infront of micheal jordan
the whole game is against MJ's sons.
if he wud have started in the beginning of the year he wud have been up there for rookie rankings....its ok theres still a lot year come
Ha i get to get his AUTOGRAPH because my highschool team is in semi-state and North Central plays after!!!!
Imagine if he had moved 4 miles south and gone to Lawrence North.... =/
take dumbbells and curl them w/ ur wrists. use those grip exercisers dat u have 2 squeeze
ej had 47 in this slaughter of the jordan brothers....the jordan bro's combined for 8 points....
not in all cases, but for da most part, yea
RAW
it just proves that Indiana basketball is better than any other place in the world...
EJ is a big 6'2 and thats eric junior people call him EG but he has to brothers named evan and erron we can't call them all EG LOL!!! Set the record at IU for points per game as a rookie !!
kevin love is not undersized. he is a legit 6'10". he also isn't overweight, he is 260. which is pretty much the same as alonzo mourning. love just has a body that doesn't build muscle as well
@mwyatt787 yea..
I watched that whole game gordon looked like a man playing wit boys and jeffrey jordan(mj son) looks like he could be really good but he has no agression what so ever
yea, ur wrists r used all the time and plus stronger wrists mean stronger grips
This guy is good but I don’t see him playing college Ball
man i was at the game and he was shittin on em man he in my class 1st period and he coo as fuck too and its funny cuz if he aint scorin hes rebounding assisting or anything hes a beast in the makein and watch out for his 2 lil bros #32 on NC is his lil bro evan
i know
not sure, i dont watch. i only watch nba. i just happened 2 catch michael jordan's kids on tv and then saw eric gordon completely lay them out.
Do you really think that the song fits?
