@@patrickyoudjeu1659 Yes, visa is approved on interview day but depending on your country, you’d have to wait a couple of days to receive the stamp on your passport. Please check online for what’s applicable in your location

Hi Fisayo, thank you for the video. I got graduate teaching assistanship from the University of Arizona and there is no deficit on my I20 form, I have 100% tuition covered and sufficient stipend from the program. Does this mean that I would be ok showing up without ANY bank statement to my visa interview?
so i were looking at a univerity in the sancracisco bay area without scollarship for the next 3 years i would need potentially over $100K?
I got admission at Langston university Oklahoma city and I once applied for b1b2 visa but on my portal is still showing me the b1b2 MRV please do you have any idea on how I can change it to the new MRV reference number? Because i can't schedule appointment while the b1b2 MRV reference number is still showing though everything on the portal has changed to f1 visa only the MRV reference number is still showing the old one

It depends on your school, but most times you'd have to pay a deposit before you arrive
Please what about taking a fixed deposit letter/certificate to your visa interview? Since that was what was submitted to the school to obtain your i-20
I don’t advice that, it could be a backup but not primary source of funds because you can’t access the money. Or can you?

It depends on what your school demands. In my case it was not necessary

If your sponsor in the US gives you an "Affidavit of Support", wouldn't that raise a red flag concerning "Ties to home country" ?

I don't think there is a specified timeline for this, but to be safe maybe 3 or more months back

My sister has a sponsor who's willing to give his bank statement and sponsorship letter, she already submitted it to the school and plans on taking it for her interview but the real deal is that she intends taking a loan to clear her deficit,she was given partial scholarship.

There are some documents to be requested when you’re filling out the form online but the bill of the documents would be brought to the embassy

How can you tell the exact amount of scholarship the school is offering you, when you haven't received form 1-20?
The scholarship amount will be stated in the admission letter given by your school. They’d also give you an estimated amount for the bank statement

Hi Kota, I’ve done a video on schools you could apply to for full scholarships. Some of them offer gre waiver so you may not need to write them
