This has answered some of my most deep burning questions that I've had for my entire life. I used to think that we were connected to other countries through satellites. I never knew that fiber optic cables were so efficient over long distances and I never knew that cables were buried under the water. Now the only thing I'm curious about is how ISPs get access to these cables and how they work this out with the government. Currently 34 minutes in.
I went to study IT at uni because I wanted to understand how Internet works. Now you just shared this with the world! This is amazing!!! Internet is enabling people to understand the internet all over the world 🙈
Wow, this was such an amazing course!! Thank you for letting millions of people have access to such a perfect description of the internet and how it works!
In the beginning I was skeptical about watching a 2 hr video with details on how the Internet works but it was worth it the instructors method of explaining the concepts make it easy to grab and understand better. Thanks for this valuable piece of info.
This is the best channel on planet earth for learning anything related to Computer science and Information Technology, please kindly upload videos related to Azure, Windows Server, Citrix, VMWARE troubleshooting, Windows Server Migration, Active Directory, Office 365 practical applications and troubleshooting for various technical issues
Guys you are amazing.... Thanks Day 01: 11:37 Day 02: 24:01 Day 03: 51:09 Day 04: 1:01:00 Day 05: 1:15:05 Day 06: 1:33:00 I love this introduction I start to understand this thing, with you and chat gpt nobody can stop me ;).... almost done.
Wonderful explanation. Explained in a very simple language. It’s a good refresher to understand the workings of the Internet which is now an indispensable part of our life. Thanks a lot for this.
Would love a similar video but about how the computer and the operating system really work and how the processor and the gpu work together to make things happen. If someone has a link to such a video, it'd be really appreciated.
Thanks for your video, it's really helpful for me, who have no technical knowledge about the Internet can understand overall how it works. In the past, I used to wonder how I can access the website, fortunately, I saw your video, it answers my question well.
The best presentation ever. Thank you so much, sir. I have learned a lot today. I didn't know anything about networking before but now I have a clue. Thanks once again for your help 🙏
Thank you so much I learned a lot of about internet and how data is transmitted from one device to another in short period of time, very explicit and detail information.
Your course was absolutely perfect, thanks dude ❤️. But i hope someone answers me about two point i can't understand seriously. 1 - about server : you said on explain company like google can creat so many servers to get more speed to be faster to response, right, all i want understand whene i share i data (image or video) he uploaded into all this servers or just one of them, i mean the more near to me? Beacuse : if it's the first answer and google uploaded the same data to all servers, that took more time and take more space. If it's not and data transfer only to one server, then the result be the same. Beacuse someon on chine for exemple and he want get responses that took time to travel btween different ips (local > régional > global). 2 : my second question about how wireless work, it's the same like cable or different way, but such firstly i know what's the access point ( if am not wrong i think its whene a router connect with cable and share a access point wireless in same distance) but i mean in this case, the wireless by satellite that Elon mask creat for example? It's send directly from satellite to near tour to your device or took some structure to response? [HOPE THE CHANNEL OR SOMEONE IN DOMINE CAN ANSWER ME, THANK YOU 🙏]
I remember an expression of shock on my IT colleagues faces when I named Access point properly for the first time (instead of modem, or 'this internet thing'). 🏋️♀️🏋️♀️🏋️♀️ You would be perfect for narrating Grimms brothers tales Ian. Would pay to hear that actually! 🔥🔥🔥
Hahaha no, this is not more valuable than a college degree. You do not need a degree to work in tech, but saying that this is better than a college degree is stupid.
Thanks for providing such an amazing content . Visualisation made a better understanding. Please upload full course of full stack developer, so that people facing financial issues can learn from here. You are doing a great job man. Thank you so much for your efforts.

If end to end encryption enables secure transfer of information, why are vpn tunnels(encryption+encapsulation) as explained in the video still necessary to securely connect two LANs?
