This layout was initially designed for a contest, and after the contest was over I refined a few aspects of the layout and asked another NL2 user to create a custom launch track for the ride. The layout pays homage to multiple Intamin's, including Millenium Force, Rita, and Kingda ka, among some other ones too

so basically its starts as TTD/KK, goes to milennium force, and then turns into cheetah hunt/maverick.

Are you implying that as a bad thing? I like this design. Such a shame it wouldn't ever be built in real life [cost, land/space and/or right location]. It would be a one-off.

@@wafflclouds The Intamin stratas are infamous for being down most of the time. They’re maintenance nightmares, partly due to the hydraulic launch system. TTD might be on the chopping block partly because of how much of a nightmare it is to maintain.

This solves all the problems with these types of coasters! Dual loading and unloading stations, and a super long, fun lay out! Awesome job!

Probably not. Disney and universal spend multiple hundred $100m coasters (due to theming). I’d say this coaster would be $60m in todays money. Half the cost of expedition everest in Disney
With no theming this would probably cost around 60 million dollars.

Amazing coaster, really shows how a giant coaster can turn into a compact layout. The drops and turns are so smooth and forceful, it glides really well. Also, how did you make such an amazing drop at 1:10?

Great job! I feel like this is what top thrill dragster and Kingda Ka should've been. Instead of just the one big hill.
Kingda Ka was $28mil alone. The rest of the tracks would cost the equal amount of Cedar Fair or Six Flags operating costs lol. It’s just not a viable ride for value.
This ride would be one of the most epic rides with intamin T bar restraints..
It won’t be one of the best at all if it has hard intamin over the shoulder restraints.

I feel like once you go pass a certain height, it isn't going to feel like you're going higher than another Strata because the ascent up the hill and the descent down the hill is going to be more gradual to reduce the G forces and you are not going to have this long 90 degree section of track to be able to judge how much higher you are going until you get to the top and actually see how high you are from the ground.
I love the combination of various intamin coasters. (Kingda Ka, Millennium Force, Expedition G-Force, etc...)

This is what I have always wanted from a strata. Yes please! Its beautiful. (I'd go with a really light blue on the track, like a pale baby blue) but other than that, 😍😍😍

So it starts as a Kingda Ka clone, but rather than go straight to a brake run, we get a section heavily based on Millennium Force, then after the midcourse brakes, a section based on Cheetah Hunt.
See this is how these coasters should be built. The ride time is worth the queue time.
I like this! But it’s just a bit too long, I feel that this should’ve been along the lines of Storm Runner at Hershey Park 👌🏽 but I’d ride this if it were actually real
Maybe if Cedar Point removes Iron Dragon, and Rougarou (which the won’t) this could be a possibl addition to TTD!

It is called a Polar Coaster if it's over 500ft. But there aren't any yet :(

If there are the skyrush restraints prepare for thigh crush ultimate but if kingda ka restraints then it’s the ow fuck my shoulders are hurting and if dragster restraints then it’s a man flying off the train while the insane ejector hills but all jokes aside coaster is insane and fire

Love it, but how awesome would a zero-g stall be after the first 500 foot drop instead of the Ka-like airtime hill? Feel like an inversion or two would fully round out this layout.

I like it, always thought they kinda watered-down the launch coasters. Yeah its fun launching at 100+ and going 400 feet up. But at the end if the day its just go fast and go high. Kinda loses its appeal after the first ride.

Nice thought but I think you wanted a little bit too much with this one. The adrenaline and excitement of the speed and forces of the launch and the “tower” is quickly exchanged when you break and then go for a full layout, with even block breaks that hit quite hard. The adrenaline would drop drastically because of what you came from before, and now to the much slower pacing. I say; stick to one concept
I appreciate the in depth review, but this ride was never designed to really make sense. It was for a contest that had to be over 2000m long, 500ft tall and have an inversion, and this was just my take on it while incorporating the "best of" intamin elements from the hydraulic launch era

My dream is to see a version of this reimagine Kingdom Ka for its 20th Anniversary. Replace the first hill with a Zero G Stall and then instead of the first break run make it an outranked hill like Pantheon and then enter a Taron like spaghetti bowl mess of track. It would cost easily $30 million but my God it’s become a worlds best and definitely piss off Cedar point and Islands of Adventure

Hi if you used the hydralic launch kit how did you delay the launch so when it completley stoped it did not start the launch sequence right away.

good concept but bad ending.. its too long.. like if you could shorten it. take out the mcrb. and just do twist and turns.. then this would be SICK!! you can easly do that. with out having mcrb just make the train die out in speed.. just cut the ride in half . and you have a winner!! you rock man...

Well it goes something around 150mph after the first drop so trims are needed so the riders don't die of excessive G-Force
nope after all those trims it probably lost about 60-65% of its speed making it slower than a hyper
