I'm 63 and just started learning watercolor and drawing. Your voiceover was really helpful, particularly your explanation of vanishing points and eye level. This is the first video I have come across to cover those things. I've watched several of your videos and also appreciate your choice of music. As a musician, I often find the music in instructional videos to be annoying to the point of distraction. Your selections always seem to be interesting. Thanks for the great video.
You are a beacon in the dark, for me especially. I haven't picked up a pencil in decades. You have made me start back my art, with my failing eyesight and weakened body. I feel revived. Thank you so much for your effort and work. Love you stuff.
Thank you for bringing so much joy into this 72 year old lady. I really appreciate all you do and show. What fascinates me are the tiny details that make things pop. Keep up the good work Thank you
As a person who needs to control…..I get sooooo anxious when you first start laying down color…..I’m thinking (it’s too dark, your covering up the shapes) and I get scared like it’s not going to look good. I’ve forced myself to watch and be open minded and not judge…..and just let you finish your process…..and each time I am so amazed. It’s a lesson for me to give up the control (the need to paint within the lines) and to calm myself. The ending reveal is always rewarding. Thank you.
Unbelievable: You make it look so easy and natural, your talent it mind blowing, and your paintings are amazing, I try copy what you do, because I love your paintings. I'm a beginner painter and would love to know why you tell people how you paint and don't get paid for it, or is or subscribers' money to you though UA-cam, so this is an income. I would pay money for what you show me on UA-cam and can't believe it's free to me, not that I can afford it, but I get great satisfaction on your videos on what I can gain from it. Thanks again. It's hard for me to gain experience without paying money, it how my mid work, sorry. Many thanks. Simplicity is Gold.
It seems he put membership in his channel now, we can help him. I can't in the moment cause I'm worst than him, but for all of us that can, would be amazing for this incredible artist Wonderful comment of yours.
Wonderful video, thank you so much! My mum was an artist but I lost her before I had a chance to learn from her. Your videos share so much knowledge that I know I need to honor my Mum’s memory. One day I will copy my favorite painting that she made.
Thanks Niaz - learning so much from you and hoping to paint much better in the future. Love your style and relaxed technique. I lost my lovely wife 2 years ago after 46 years together and learning to paint has been so healing for me. I think you're doing so much more than just teaching people how to paint - you're helping to heal and restore those of us who are injured, bereaved, hurting and lonely to find peace, contentment and calmness. You are an inspiration my friend and I wish you every blessing in the future.
Excellent brother !! you did awesome by doing voiceover ! (one tip - make the bgm just a little lower and voice volume a little higher !) I am very happy that you taught very nicely !
I subscribed to your site a year ago. Before that, my watercolors looked like kindergarten finger painting. Now they are decent and I get lots of compliments, thanks to your UA-cam tutorials. Many thanks and keep them coming!
Wow - it’s so nice with your instructions!!! I have seen a lot of you latest videos, and I really like the way you paint. But it gets even better with the voice over. You are doing a great job - more videos with voiceover and explanations 💪🏽😎
Hi Niaz - I’m learning so much from all your urban street videos - your voice-over is great and I equally enjoy the silent ones, (i especially like your choice of music pieces). I’m 62yrs. old and just this year discovered I can draw and paint - but I’m so much in need of formal instruction. You’ve made it possible for me to finally explore painting the urban scenes I’ve only thought about but never tried for 45 years. Now I can play and it’s so exhilarating !! I’m so lucky I discovered your channel. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 thank you.
Niaz, this was SO amazing!! One would never have guessed this was your first voice-over, it was brilliant! Your instruction style is really great and absolutely inspiring. I have now subscribed and cannot wait for what’s coming!! Thank you so much! 👏❤️
I am always impressed when an artist expresses his art. Singing, dancing, music, drawing, painting. I am even more impressed when this artist takes his time to transmit his art. love you ❤❤❤
Wow. You really taught me something. I'm a watercolor artist just getting back to painting. I was frozen wondering how to start. I didn’t want to do the usual simple florals. I wanted to jump in and do what seemed like intense street scenes and you made it look so easy and fearless. I've had great art teachers when I was in school and I miss that so much. You brought it back in such a powerful simplistic way. Thank you for awakening that love for watercolors back into my life. Also I'm amazed at how simple your pallette. I'm usually stressed out about having the right color 😅. Not anymore. I truly can't thank you enough.
Thks a million times for this shining way of drawing and waterpainting… Thanks to you, I just discovered, or became aware perhaps, essential things that I have been missing for decades… Both in the brush and in the pencil, and perhaps even more in the comment. Keep on please…
Thank You so much for providing these wonderful tutorials. They really are so helpful and inspiring. Your brilliant talent is a true blessing. God bless you.
I definitely enjoyed this video. The heads all being on a common line made a light go off for me. I also loved dropping a little gouache in to make some things pop! Excellent video!! Thanks! 😊
Brilliant. Thanks for the voice-over. Your instruction on perspective is clear, precise and takes the scariness out of drawing scenes with depth. Also your use of white gouache is excellent. Thank you
This was incredibly helpful - thank you for adding your vocal instructions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please do that with all of your videos. It makes such a difference!! 💥💯
Thanks Niaz for another great tutorial your explanation about putting all the heads on the eyeline totally made sense to me for the first time. I also feel so much more confident about placing people into my sketches now that I understand perspective, vanishing point and eye line. Thankyou so much for the clear voiceover it was a great addition to your tutorials. Xx🥰🏴
What a break through with your voice in it. I enjoy your video with or without voice anyway, just do whatever way you like. Thank you for sharing your work! Very talented!
Such an excellent no-bullshit channel this is. I’ve been struggling with watercolor for so long and I think I haven’t paid enough attention to drawing basics. Perspective is to art what rhythm is to music. If your rhythm is off, your music will suck. So it is with art.
in French we say "your video is the bomb". THANK YOU because in just a few minutes I learned and understood many things

Yeah me too. Haven't picked up a pencil really in 20 years now want to get back into it and learn to paint. This is a great tutorial

I’m 78 and finally have the time to learn drawing and watercolor!!! Thank you so much for sharing your technique with us!!!
Thank you for bringing so much joy into this 72 year old lady.

Keep up the good work
Thank you
You're a real artist if you can copy you're own work!! Love it so much i learn alot
Your videos are terrific. I cast my vote for voice overs: I often miss the text boxes, stop, and back up. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for sharing your tips. The one that stood out to me is finding the eyeline and having the heads of all people at that level.
Talking us through the schetching perspective process was super helpful! Thank you!
😎
The ease you show is astonishing, just like your paintings.
Thank you 😇
World love to see your videos in real time. It's relaxing actually. No one teaches like you.
