NEED HELP!!! Issue with my maspion desk fan

Its make a weird noise. Its not come from the bearing because its still spinning freely. The fan want to spin if I push the blades and if not, it will makes a very very weird noise (sounds like it will burned out). Its oscillation also makes the fan more bad and not want to spin. Do you know what is the problem in it?? Tell me. I already oiled this fan with WD-40 oil.
NOTE: Maspion is a good product fan ever made. Its not easly breaking down just like the other cheapos fan like GMC, etc. If you want to buy a Maspion brand, I recomennded it.

I think one of the gears that's part of the oscillator is grinding up against the corkscrew on the back of the motor shaft and preventing it from spinning

You need to clean the bearing and oil it that should help don't throw it out yet

Man, i'lll tell you exactly what's wrong with that fan. One possibility is that the blades are loose. The the other one, which is worse, is that the motor's rotor is bad or too worn out. That's all the help i can give you. If the problem is the second one. just replace the motor and the problem should be gone.

Godwin P. Yeah, after i posted the comment i realized that the problem couldn't be the blades. Im sure it's the motor. And i think it's beyond repair. You can try finding a replacement. Haven't done this yet, but i think you can put any motor that's the same size and fits the blades. I have two motors that are from completely different fans and they're identical. Idk, you see what's best.
