- Using a Louisiana Preservation Alliance list, we tour Monroe’s Grand Street, St. Francisville’s Rosedown Plantation, Bunkie’s Bennett Store, a sawmill at Long Leaf and Shreveport’s Pump Station. The list includes Tioga’s Commissary, Baton Rouge’s Train, 1930s Murals, Trinity Church in Cheneyville and Mansfield’s Battleground. This latest tour is a countdown of Louisiana history.
Ive been watching these for about a week so cool im from Baton Rouge my grandparents were from minden and natchitoches and i love Louisiana history and never knew this show existed growing up in Texas

@@danabergeron111 yep , it's sad what the politicians have done to Louisiana I was there a few weeks ago and everything is neglected and run down looking I wish they would restore it to its former glory even baton rouge looks like a post apocalyptic city
This is a treasure of information. Thank you for sharing this.
Our pleasure!
THANK YOU!! I Love this series!!
I'm so glad!
20 years later and that locomotive is still sitting in downtown Baton Rouge rushing away. What a shame 😔
IC 333? It hasnt been there for many years. It was moved to the Tioga Commissary YEARS ago and last year got sent to Ohio to be restored.
Glad I got to see the house before the sell-off. Many years ago.
The "he was a very bad man" quote was not necessary.
Quit destroying our history
