GingerKing243 that’s what I call continuity
Damn, off topic but the audio for this video is very well engineered! Comfortable listening level at 25% volume. Awesome channel btw! It would be cool to see a video on bass drum tuning.
So happy that this channel is back! Keep it up!!
Keep it up with your fine work. The bass world needs you.
You guys are so underrated, and your videos should be watched by every high school Drumline period.
So glad this is back!!
I'm bass one and I need this
this is such a great video for bass players, but also just percussionists in general since this is a really good exercise! you explain this so well
What you're doing is amazing. Dont stop!
*You're the hero that we don't deserve. Also I'm curious, have you marched in any groups?*
*Diggin' that hoodie, btw*
The hoodie is one of my favorites for sure. I marched Pacific Crest a few years back, and then did POW, and aged out with Pulse this past season. I'm now teaching the POW Bassline :)
BASS DRUM GROUP What bass were you at Pulse?
I played top!
BASS DRUM GROUP - Sweet, so you marched The Uninvited? That was my favorite show!
Not even a bass player but these videos are so awesome
You need more attention, this channel and your explanations are so helpful
Elliot Duran marched Pulse 2017, first bass
YOU ARE BACK I MISS YOU
It’s called “counting”👏
Nice, I play the bass drum for the music band in my school
Was just about to ask for this thank you so much
You're a God for this dood
Marking time with intent is such a game changer.
I keep watching but it's so hard for me to understand! I love bass drums and wish i can play and teach many techniques. Im self taught but it'll be nice if i can understand what's happening in this video or all the other videos!
Me playing bass 3 it helped me alot
Man, I've been dealing with educational materials for drum lines for more than 35 years, and I don't know of ANY of it that comes close to being as effective or efficient as your videos. If I was still teaching, I'd take the whole budget for percussion instruction and just send it to you.
Im in love
3:30 who'd u march on dynastys with?
He marched Pacific Crest 2011 and 2012. 2011 was the last year they used Dynasty.
Welcome back my guy
Superb!!
Nice
Could you do a video on the triplet version of this?
Bro yessss
bro i need more lessons
This videos are awesome

*Bass Five has left the chat*
Just a set player passing through but, how do you have different notes on one drum?
"Bass Drum" actually refers to a set of MARCHING Bass Drums within a drumline. There are usually 4-5 bass drums that are carried using a harness that are different sizes, small to big, and the size of the drums causes each one to have a different pitch. Each player only plays the notes on the staff that correspond to their drum. Hopefully that makes sense! Thanks for watching!
Jack Flaumenhaft this comment me cringe in marching there’s 5 bass drums
Dude I don’t even play in marching I play rock and metal I didn’t know that so calm down.
You should watch some of his lot videos! Marching bass is pretty amazing in my opinion
What app do you use for the metronome
Is there a channel like this for snare?
There's a channel sort of like that for snare called Drumline Chops, but they haven't released videos for a couple of yours so what you see on their page is what you get. Hopefully one day someone will make something like that!
What program do you use to write out all these exercises and recordings?
I use Sibelius!
The Caviliers almost always have thicc lasers in their show
The only time I’ve played a laser beam, it was because our down beat was so dirty after a run the bass tech took pity and said we were trying a laser on his order to see how it’s sounded.
I know now 5 years later, the he, we and the caption head all knew otherwise
Where Can I get the song?
The song is called Without a Sound. It's by a producer called Home.
4:13 damn
Someone can explain me if the key of the bass are G,E,C,A?
Like your taste of music (your jacket)
