Wilder showcased more technical skill under Mark. He used to jab, use a crafty lead hand, frame opponents after punches to prevent return fire, and turn opponents off of frames. He used to change his look while throwing multiple jabs as well.
Somewhere after 2018 he started relying more on his back hand. And also stopped being defensive. Maybe age caught up and he couldn’t move his legs as quickly. But when using a low guard like he does, you need to be able to create defense at split seconds.

Wilder left hand has no education no coordination but very fast and powerful but he loose balance when he throws his left hooks! And he doesn’t know when to throw it to control his opponent. It’s crazy he’s making these fights way harder then they should be! His left has crazy potential and power but he like a loose cannon with a bent wheel! If he educated his jab like Larry Holmes he would be unbeatable!

@@Makle84exactly you have so many people underestimating Wilder, when in reality he didn’t fight all elite fighters, but he didn’t fight all bums, just casuals that don’t know boxing thinking that just because they don’t know his opponents, they are unknown. @@Supr3m3JJ I highly respect Wilder and it wouldn't be a Golden Era without him tbh. Along with his Ortiz wins, even Douhapas was a credible defence as well as his draw with Fury. He aso dealt with Helenius in the 1st round after he'd stopped Kownacki twice in a row. Kownacki was supposed to be a hot prospect until Helenius finished him. Wilder definitely wasn't the same after the third Fury fight and definitely wasnt after the Helenius fight where he got emotional. Its clear as day he ain't the same fighter and he's nearly 39. It's all coming out now that he struggled with mental health after his first loss.

@@Makle84 100% people always downplay wilder because of the lack of competition of the generation, in my opinion wilder had a great title run considering that every boxer he faced had better technical skills and out weighing him he still managed a way to KO all 43 men he beat in destructive fashion, definitely a HOF career and hardest right hand ever in boxing
