    The entry of wastewater to the UASB Reactor is done for this case by means of pumps that drive the water through the distribution pipes.

    Hello, can anyone kindly let me know what are the typical inert particle used in UASB reactor for granulation?

      thank you for your comment, dear Stella. The high rate - high efficiency (> 85% removal of soluble COD) BIOTIM UASB with external recirculation (top of the line-world class) works with granular anaerobic bacteria. I.e. no inert particle is inserted to form the granules - these get grown from Fermentation (like at corn digestion plants). please contact me for more info through joris.moors@waterleau.com - or visit www.waterleau.com for more info.
