Suggestion.. Use 'me' in the latter part. Like use "My friends and I were hungry..." (v/s Me and my friends were hungry). It is grammatically better and it is more polite too :-)
PS: I've visited Pondy many times (as recently as about 15 days ago, albeit for a few hours) but never knew the 'new light house'. Next time, I will make it up there!

hi Panchii. Your video is so nice and crisp with so much information. I am heading to Pondicherry this month from Kolkata. can you please suggest me the best way to reach Pondicherry from Chennai Airport.
chandrima samanta I'll tell you a cheaper way and a little less cheaper way.
Cheaper: take the local train from airport to Chengalpattu station. Get down there and catch a bus to Pondicherry. Many buses go to Pondicherry from there
Less cheaper: take a cab till Chengalpattu and take the bus from there
I even heard that you can go to Koyambedu and take the bus but since I went like this I am suggesting this... This is just based on what I know... if anyone knows a better way do comment here! Hope you enjoy!!

Thank you Pachiii, it's so nice of you to provide me with these informations. Thanks a ton dear. I really needed to know the names of the stations and the bus terminals.
Oh! and the name of the station from the airport is Thirusulam. Take the train which says Chengalpattu and goes towards that. You have to go near the toll place to catch a bus in chengalpattu. Ask the conductor of the buses and they'll take you to Pondicherry. I could'nt find many AC busses though. Hope you enjoy there and I am glad that I was helpful :D

Rock Beach and Gandhi statue in same place only..y u took number of U turns from pondy Rock beach - aurovile - pondy gandhi statue and light house ...very bad route mapping

I just came across this video as I searched for Pondicherry on youtube, and I must say it was informative, just one question regarding hired bikes, are those bikes easy to get anywhere? or are those bikes specific to the hotel you have stayed at?

This video show you r just beginner by looking at the camera position. Can't you hold horizontal to avoid thst massive pillar boxing.

is there any public transportation to go to these places? i'm going to visit pondicherry this coming april and i don't have motorbike license.
Hey reirerinn. Yes there are local buses and autos too. And there is always Ola or uber. So I don't think you have to worry about the transport. If you like cycling, you can rent cycles too. So it's upto you
