#9 none of those Bible verses say a Christian can't have a demon. Its very frustrating when Christians say a Christian doesn't need demons cast out of them. I have been a true Christian, loving Jesus for years and I know I need demons cast out of me. The demons force me to manifest sometimes when I worship God which is very distracting. In the past I have had demons say "no!" And "stop!" When I was reading the Bible aloud. When someone is telling the demons to leave me, the demons will cause me to manifest as well such as scream, growl, shake, fall back, scream "no!" and twist my body etc.. I truly love and follow Jesus daily and I read my Bible daily. Even demons cannot keep me from having the peace and joy of Jesus Christ.

The friend who brought me to Christ as an Elder in the SDA I'm SC was given a contract with the Rams. Left to follow the Sabbath. My favorite is John. It shows the Jesus that most churches no longer teach. That He is Sovereign, He is our everything, and He is God in flesh.
Hearing the question on whether to play sports on the Sabbath reminded me of the great Dodgers' pitcher Sandy Koufax who, during the 1965 World Series, refused to play Game 1 of that series because the day of that game fell on the holiday of Yom Kippur (admittedly different circumstances from not playing on the Sabbath but the same general principle applies here). The principle remains the same, though: when having to choose between God and the world, always choose God first. Koufax did, and we should do the same whenever the situation comes up.

Well, according to my experience with those demons, they usually feed on your weaknesses, or use people such as narcissists to weaken you so further damage can be done. In order to get rid of them, you first have to realize that with Christ, you have nothing to fear, and by relying on Christ alone, that makes you powerful, but it's complicated, way too complicated, I can't explain this properly, spiritual warfare is a challenge that many fail, few succeed, all I had to do was to refuse temptations and unhealthy friendships, alongside gaining a larger insight on who I am, why I'm here, so gaining knowledge is part of it too.
I am still learning, but because God gave humans free will and freedom to choose, there are certain rules God imposes on Himself. Technically He can do whatever He wants to anyone and there’s nothing we could do to stop Him, but He never forces, coerces, or manipulates in a deceptive manner. He also limits Satan’s and the demons’ ability to take control of humans, and they can’t do that without our permission (they are required to follow the same rules - all through the Bible God demonstrates how important justice and fairness is to Him). But Satan can influence other humans to force and coerce as he did in getting Jesus crucified, and the Catholics to burn Protestants at the stake in the Dark Ages. There are certain choices we can make that give demons permission to exert various levels of influence on us, so I want to be VERY careful about what kind of entertainment I bring into my home and into my mind. That may seem harmless, but it has the potential to open doors I do NOT want to open! This is why Bible study and praying for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in spiritual things is so important.

However, the Bible talks about time (how long) a person can be demon possessed. (Mark 5:4-5, key word "night and day") In Matthew, Satan possessed Peter. Satan and his minions can only possess living things, not objects, therefore, Satan took hold of Peter. Jesus wasn't talking to two different individuals. So, yes. Satan possessed Peter for a short, short time.

There's is no way can the Devil have a possession over God's children according to scriptures. One scriptures Luke 10:19 So if God has given you power over all the power of the Devil how can a true follower of Jesus Christ be possessed. Only a hypocrite or fake christian demons fear not. Sports are the pleasures of this world not of God! It is of the world and it has conformed our minds to be like the world.
