Once upon a time, down by the equator
Was a bird so absurd, an annihilator.
10 feet tall, with a beak like an axe

Volcanoes, spewing fire in the sky.

Species from the north, and the south they ran,
The Great American interchange began.
Terror birds are running north moving their feet
With smilodon, and other foes to meet
This time around they’re not hunting alone
As predators compete for the throne

Titanis on his way to mexico
Looking for something to eat.
He spies a tasty mixotoxodon
It’s time to eat meat.
He’s gotta run, he’s gotta feast

It’s the thrill of the chase
Raining down terror all over the place.
And the dire wolves smelled the meat
And they were thinking they wanted to eat.
Well they circled around the beast they had found
Ready to fight for their meal tonight!
