      +Srimanya Panidepu He is indeed an exciting personality. As a physics teacher with a Ph.D, he explains all physics concepts clearly without making students bored. We're happy to work with him and will make more videos.

    Great video. How would you calculate the wavelength of wave if you were given periods of 0.1 or 1 second with an elastic medium with velocity of 6 km/?

    • @simarpreetsingh2955
      @simarpreetsingh2955 10 років тому

      You know the time period, reciprocal of that is the frequency . Now you must know the relation (frequency) times (wavelength) = (wave velocity) . That should do.

    Let's say lambda = L. If you understood how (3/2)L = 8m, then you'll see that 3L = 16m (multiplying both sides by 2), and then L = (16/3)m (dividing both sides by 3). Understand?

    ABC is a wave and CDE is an other wave so to find the lambda u can simply take the half of CDE ( that is CD length ) and add that with the ABC wave why u make that 3/2 thing there ?? I think i dint got that correct or did I plz help ?!!!!!!!!!!!

    • @朱司拉
      @朱司拉 9 років тому

      +zack gaming He wrote it upside down... it should be 2/3 :)

    • @nishantjarad
      @nishantjarad 8 років тому

      +朱司拉(豬太) No he is right it will be 3/2. . As the wave is 1 and half so it will be 1+(1/2). The L.C.M will be 2 then it will be 2+1/2 = 3/2.
