- The auction house has been removed in NBA 2K24, I never thought I would see the day. The new method is called the "Player Market". This new feature is pretty cool, essentially you don't buy and sell players to other players anymore, you just buy and sell from 2K. Which does take a big part out of the game if you enjoyed hunting for good prices on the old auction house or simply just flipping some players for a profit. The reason 2K did this supposedly is because they want to cut back on the amount of third party website selling myteam currency. We'll see how this plays out in the near future.
i just found out about this🤦🏾♂️ i usually dont touch myteam until near the end of the game and this just ruined it for me
Ill probably never play this game again because they took out the auction house

Basically you can not build a team of the players you want (even if they are average players) unless you are spending hundreds of dollars
yeah but there are good budget players.. idk. i do miss the standard auction house but you know 2K just wants our money so anything to force more micro transactions
@@ItsJSansi I think what annoys me the most is the lack of available players. Idk if it’s just me, but it feels like there are just much less options of cards to use than in previous years
I didn't buy 2k for this reason.
I made my MT by playing the market.
yeah they definitively eliminated that.. was such a fun part of the game too, felt like you were a little business owner. 😂 tryna profit

bro that’s the dumbest excuse i’ve ever heard for that, like listen madden isn’t good either but you could’ve at least done something like what they did with a minimum and a max price set around like the average price of the card on the auction house if you wanted to stop people from buying coins
i agree. 2k could have definitely taken a different route when doing this. but you know at the end of the day it's all about the money for them.
Dang that sucks, i downloaded it yesterday because it was free on gamepass, played 1 game then searched for the auction house, saw it was gone then deleted the game 😂

Got it on game pass yesterday there’s no way they removed auction house I spent like 10 minutes searching 2k fr got rid of the best part of my team
There are WAY bigger issues with 2k, the only people that the auction house hurts is guys buying and selling mt. Unless there are ltm cards, than mayyybe
