I didn't like the film. You say film subject is niche and still blaming audience for not turning up, you are being too naive my friend. You are making stupid conclusion about people(audience), everybody wants Entertainment when stepping inside theatre. Just because Maidaan didn't work doesn't mean audience is failing but it's the film lacking something whether marketing or could be anything. Kantara worked but Tumbbad kind of failed not flop but you should see why it happens
