If we kept the final 3 of season 2, I personally think that Priya and Raj should've gone home sooner in order to give Caleb and Wayne some breathing room to flesh out their characters more without depending on the other two.
The fact Priya had the most lines both seasons
As someone who likes Priya a fair bit, they really fumbled the bag this season with just how focused she was. Her plot would’ve worked really well if it was a sub-story to Julia’s villainy, and maybe something to actually make Damien relevant. Yet, they just sidelined nearly the entire cast for Priya, which is absurd given she already won a season. I don’t even have a problem with the romance itself unlike so many others weirdly do, saying it ruined her character which like.. no(?), but it was definitely focused on way too much.
They could’ve devoted some of that time into giving Wayne a proper winner’s edit. Maybe have him form a close friendship with Damien where Damien tells Wayne about the idol, leading him to accidentally spilling the info to Julia which is how she finds it in the first place. This season has so many obvious missed opportunities that really shouldn’t have been missed
Again…survivor had two time winners before
@@maikayee246 Survivor did, which is a reality show highly focused on strategy. Total Drama and Survivor are extremely different. Tony was an ingenious strategist in both of his seasons and Sandra masterfully abused the social game to paint the narrative of her vs the villain. Priya was just.. kinda talented
This is so true. Everything you say, i definitely agree withhh because i really love priya as a character, but her plot with caleb had been dragged on for soo long this season

In my opinion, when I saw Priya at the first place spot, I was really happy
Season 2 of the reboot has half of the same final 4, just how Season 2 of the original Total Drama has half of the same final 4 as the previous one (Owen and Duncan).
The fact nichelle was in the bottom 3 proves how much of a flop she is
False, the writers did her dirty by julia giving her fake hollywood contracts to nichelle

Correct me if I’m wrong but Priya should’ve been handled the way they handled Mike.
They both were the focus for 2 consecutive seasons! However Mike didn’t win Revenge of the Island so he didn’t feel overused in All Stars. He’s my fav character but although he was basically carried to the finale, that was much better than Priya just being used as the main conflict for 2 WHOLE SEASONS! 😐

this could possibly happen but seeing of the new seasons, its most likely the merge isnt gonna be straight up half the contestants 😭 like this season the merge(merging at 6 out of 13 episodes with 11 out of 16 players) happen even eariler than the first reboot season, which merged at episode 7 😭

i know! they hate her for the most stupid reason. getting to final 4 while already having win a season. But the same thing with heather in seasons 1 and 3 and whop de do she gets praised for winning. what the actual heck😭
She was my favorite in season 1. Her Caleb arc in season 2 got a bit dragged out though.

@@scxrletslove this was right after both of the original two seasons, and with a reasonably place pre merge boot put between both of her final 3 performances. Her storyline was not the entire focus of the season, and it was a satisfying conclusion to a 26 episode season. Some characters were clearly sidelined in World Tour, but the season came together in a clean manner. Priya, on the other hand, got to the final 4 two times in a row, and this time it was AFTER she won the original season, and got the most screen time of any character. Characters got shafted to the sidelines while Priya received another full season, with another season long arc. This paired up with Priya not being all that interesting as a character where she hardly grows (she's very static imo) makes for a painful second season. May I add, this is also paired up with Julia getting to be a main antagonist for the second time in a row, and making it to the final 4 AGAIN. Both of these cases were egregious, and happened on a reboot. It makes no sense.
I hope Priya is gone first next

I believe they do. Many people were annoyed about the finale of All Stars and believed that those 2 were over used. I believe it's one of the many reasons why that season was in most fans bottom 3

If y'all are gonna throw a fit over Priya having the most lines in both seasons of the reboot then u should also be mad that heather had the most lines in both island and world tour
There's a subtle, yet really OBVIOUS difference.... Heather had great plots and character moments, yet Priya isn't interesting nor likable nor rootable. Heather was interesting and both likable and hatable, and she was rootable in her season, world tour.

It's true that Heather had the most lines in both island and world tour, but it's because in island she was the main antagonist, while in world tour she was the main character, but for Priya it's different, in reboot season 1 she deserved to be the one with the most lines, because she was the main character, but in season 2 she didn't deserve to have the most lines again, as she wasn't the villain, and she was already the main character last season
