Respect for Liquid, getting to game 5 against GG is not an easy task
GJ team Liquid~~~
Great game, this should be the grand final
Great series.
Dehaka from arcaner was good pick actually. Triple Warrior was a great response to Gen.G Anub + Kharazim + Alarak combo, plus he did so good in the macro play turning a 3v3 into a 4x3 several times.
I feel tought that Malthael was really a issue for their beefy frontline, but they picked dehaka willingly on face malthael with a triple warrior comp. Their priority was to neutralize alarak and kharazim dmg threat.
Too bad Billy misplayed at the crucial moment for the match. Really wanted to see they winning this.
Just came back in time to verify that KyoCha always gets dongled on when playing Malth
I was hoping for a moment :(
Great game nevertheless
이건 진짜 리치 알라라크가 게임을 바꿔버렸다....
리치도 잘했지만 리셋도 진짜 잘한듯요 ㅎㅎ
i watched the games between gen g and dig first and now that I see how liquid took gen g to the limits dig should be very sad with themselves
Ha ha ha same here. Now I feel like I just watched the real final of the HGC and Dignitas were just the appetizer for Gen G.
I don't think you can say it as ez as that. The game vs Dig on Dragon Shire was pretty even with many chars getting away with 1% HP and then Wubby got Owl-sniped and Kyocha got away with 1HP which was the point were Gen G. took over and didn't let their lead go. The second game they lost clearly(Dig) but the third they absolutely crushed and had insane bad luck(and also a genius Lorenado at the end) which cost them so while 0-3 looks clear it was kinda close
@@Devilfish6666 Gen G got lucky quite a bit in some of those games
They shielded the core to win the final game, which was removed afterwards.
GG
Why did TL ignore objective after ensuring kills?
I know its a late reply but that is a problem of a 3 Tank comp on Braxis on the highest level: TL's only damage really is Junkrat. Even 5v4, its very hard for them to actually get both shrines as Gen G will just split 3-1 and move to both shrines but mainly focus the shrine where Junkrat is not and win that fight as all of their heroes are very good in 1v1 situations so they can constantly engage in these shrine fights. TL needed 2-3 picks to actually get the objective. I know in an everyday Storm League match, one pick is probably enough to secure it but thats because the ppl there lack the control and awareness of Gen G. Although it does not look like it, TL actually played that map pretty perfectly and did what they could. Their downfall was that it was Tyrael that got picked. Tyrael was the main boss control and if smbd else died, they could still engage in the boss fight with Holy Ground/Sanct. But because Tyrael was dead, that meant boss+objective for TL.
#instrumental
begin from video o just know who won, asain it hard too loss from non asian.
The TL shot caller lost the game..
They didn't manage to get any value or if their kills. So aggravating to watch how they threw that basically. 2 kills = 2 obj. for geng 8 kills = nothing for TL
They actually made no mistake at all. Its because of the nature of their comp. 5v4 is not enough to claim objective on the highest level with a 3 Tank comp and only 1 ranged assassin vs. a team that have multiple assasssins (which will simply go to the shrine where Junkrat is not). Although this might work in your everyday storm league game, it certainly does not on this level of play.
Неужели нету русскоговорящих?
HOTS needs more hero variation. All the matches seem the same.
Literally all mobas are like this, the competitive meta is composed always by more or less twenty heroes. It's not a matter of numbers, it's a matter of how the pros practice and training, and with whom.
Erm I could understand this comment under a match were really every game is the same but Liquid goes triple warrior here which is definitely not standard, as well as Gen.G going Alarak(and winning the game with his pull into the 7 sided)
TL you lost because you didnt go for the obj....you deserve the loss
Tbh I disliked the Draft by TL. Junky as the only dd and Quadra frontline(w 3 warriors) is a bit ridiculous and respectless against GenG. Would have loved to see a thrall instead of the one warriors
On the contrary this shown how much they respected Rich on Alarak. Thrall would have been destroyed just like Raynor has been destroyed many times during game 3 despite the 2 warriors composition. It was also in fear of the 7 sided strike, with 3 warriors there is less chance to have one isolated an burst down by Kharazim. The only real alternative to a triple warrior composition against the heroes picked by Gen G would have been Medivh in my view.
I think drafting a triple assassin comp was the better way to go
@@ArumonFM you can't be serious.
Only 1 warrior 7 sided strike, bye bye bruiser.
Plus TL started by drafting 2 tanks so changing this would have probably changed the whole draft.
You really think one cocoon can win all ? Triple ssassin can pick you a lot of counter tools against cocoon too. Pls try using your brain first before
@@ArumonFM well you're the one suggesting triple assassin against a composition with strong hard engage and burst damage soooooo...
Cocoon is one thing, then there's the threat of 7 sided strike if you have only one person in the frontlane.
Having a second person in the frontlane that is not a warrior as you suggest will really struggle to stay alive. One positioning mistake and he's gone: telekinesis, silence, impale, burrow charge and then you start to try running away with a Kharazim and a Malthael on your back. Either your team will dive in to try to save you and take a fight with a disadvantage or you die and give momentum to the ennemy team.
Plus as I said triple assassin would have meant a total different draft from Gen G.
Anybody can think of the best comp when you know the 5 opponents picks but that's not how it works so please stay polite and respectful. You don't have to become toxic just because someone has a different opinion. You're the one who started to talk about respect by the way.
No wonder people dont learn from these...announcers excitrd about kills, not calling things that made the difference, and focusing excitement on rip tite (not that powerful) and deckards stun (stay awhile and listen). They didnt say ANYTHING about how stupid that decision by gen g to try for that first boss was for instance. By that point in the game, they should have KNOWN it would get stolen, and that liquid couldnt take it otherwise because it would have taken too much time. Many very bad calls from them in beginning on a macro level. Then again, their macro was terrible in MANY games this tourney, their only real strength that carried them was the draft and a decent micro game. They really didnt deserve to get as far as they did.
Gary Turner I agree with you on the caster’s ability. Hence I mute the game against certain casters. Usually most in hots.
When you compare hots casters to let’s say starcraft casters.... you see a huge difference. Usually starcraft casters like you mentioned talk about strategy , calls , future shot calls that needs to be made... but hots casters are mostly just repeating stuff as the game goes on. Totally unnecessary and requires no talent.
You know why they are called team liquid?
Because they don't have solid players
