Have you tried the Chin Tape method? Which tip helped you most to conceal your double chin or turkey neck? What should my next video be about to help you with your camera confidence?
Thank you Abigail, what fun you are! One tip that has helped me over the years (I"m 69) feel better in photos and I've used it with other folks is to slightly tip your head to one side. Slightly. I think it makes for a more relaxed and relatable photo. Of me, at least, LOL!
Thank you Abigail, how refreshing! You are so relatable. Your tips have validated some of the techniques I have been trying and feeling so ridiculous at the same time. Of course this just makes me feel silly. BUT! The half swallow, YES, that one does work! The leaning forward I have tried and will be remembering more often. The laugh forward is brilliant!!! I am looking for a very skilled photographer for mature women, as I need a new professional image.
Thank you for this. I'm 27 and in the early stages of developing a turkey neck, already noticing a tiny bit of fat on my neck, nobody else notices but I'm starting to get self-conscious. The early stage turkey neck (my first real sign that I'm aging) is the only real blemish on an otherwise amazing year. I'm glad to see something that is realistic without recommending extreme solutions, because while it sucks that I'm going to inevitably have a full-blown turkey neck, aging is a natural part of life. At least these photo posing tips make it less apparent. Thankfully my aging neck is noticed only by me, I didn't meet my boyfriend until after I noticed my neck looking less youthful and he just thinks I'm some beautiful supermodel or something. I asked him and he doesn't notice.
I am a 40 plus man, my trick, grow a beard 🧔. However being in the video production business myself I can appreciate the production value of this video, well done! You took our wedding photos (almost 10 years ago now!) and they were great 😍. Those are probably the most important pictures for any woman (and man) so maybe a video on things to do that help your wedding photographer get the best pictures possible?
Hey Gareth! Thanks so much for the comment! How are you and Wendy doing? Whenever I go down to St James side, I remember you guys! Hope you’re all well. Also - how lucky are you to be able to grow the beard! Lol! Thanks for the video suggestion!

Many of the same principles would apply. When I'm filming myself I always check for flat lighting (no side light) and make sure the camera lens is eye-level or slightly higher. Being mindful of your posture is of course paramount. Shoulders back and down, but relaxed. And slight chin tuck forward.
Hey so im noticing its really just super prominent in photos. Im only 32 but i lost 60 pounds I'm considering surgery and as I'm watching you and mine in real life looks super close to yours which is so not even bad at all.... Is it true its worse in photos than real life??? Mines not even visible in my selfies but if someone takes a photo and my necks exposed omg it's so baddddddd ... My bf is convinced it's muscles in my neck and doesnt age me and thats so cute and does help my ego a bit lol. Anyways back to my point.....yours in live action is not bad at all and it looks just like mine. Im not a content creator and my pics arent important in that aspect ... Sooooo if its really not as bad in real life and its just worse in pics i may hold off on actual surgery... What do you think?
Wear a turtle neck ? Are you FN serious ? amazing how so many people make money giving false hope......I'll just grow a long beard ZZ Top stlye....sorry ladies you cant do this LMFAO...but your strong independent women right LMFAO again

Can you talk about this for video? When your moving around? Especially when using back facing camera ?
