- Unmatched Adventures: Tales to Amaze is easily Restoration Games' masterpiece for Unmatched. It can easily be the only set you own and feel complete. Thank you to Durdle Games for letting me film with their copy so I could come out with a video as soon as possible! Unmatched Adventures Tales to Amaze is a great board game. this board game review is from the heart.
4 heroes, big maps, co-op, 1v1, 2v2, ffa, and the 5 player map. Best starter set from now on
It's THE set imo
My friend would only play unmatched occasionally and never wanted the game for himself. I played this with him and his wife, and he kept asking to play again when we would finish. He now wants to buy the game.
It's sooo sick! The game is goated
Unmatched is the greatest 1v1 game ever

I agree this is the best set. I love that you can tweak the difficulty from very easy to nigh impossible. The one snag is that you have to house rule the way Black Panther works, but that's not Tales to Amaze's fault. I was a bit worried that a 4 player game against the martian invader and a certain combination of minions would take to long, but we finnished that game in slightly over an hour and a half.
The fun thing about it being co-op is that you can house rule a couple things. For instance, whenever an effect says hero I replace it w Villain!

Totally agree. I really love Unmatched. I have several sets already, but what I REALLY love are cooperative games. This took Unmatched to the next level for me!
And the villian turns are so quick and easy, unlike some other co op games.

Love the game but they need to put more effort on board art, making it look more thematic artistic less geometric
Personally, I like how the maps are because I wouldn't want it to be too busy and distract me from the game. The card art is all the beauty I need!

My set of Unmatched Adventures should be delivered Tuesday. Can't wait. A couple months back I bought the T-Rex set just so I can have T-rex take on the Martian invaders. Ha!
This game is sooo wild where you can have Sherlock Holmes fight a Trex and Sun Wu Kong the Monkey God
