I totalled a Land Rover by driving it through 4 foot of water during a flood. The air intake in on the bottom of the engine, so if you dont have a scoop for your air intake, dont drive it in any water that’s very deep at all. Water in engines kills engines.
The guy that just bought his over priced POS, needs to make 4 stops. One at the car wash. One at the Land Cruiser Dealership to return it for his money back. Second last stop, his local Jeep Dealership for a Rubicon. Last stop I have been made aware of is in Great Britain for Tea and Crumpets.
These are old school land rovers made by Land Rover in the 90s ! They are the ones that helped build the reputation they used to have! Now all the newer 2008 and up are just garbage with an even crappier warranty!

Many years ago a Police Car went into a Muddy Area to check for Dumped Stolen Cars and got Bogged. Put out call on Police Radio for help. 2nd Police Car arrived and he too got Bogged. Put out call on Police Radio for help. Emergency Operation Group 4x4 arrived and he too got Bogged. Decided against putting out another call on Police Radio for more help (too embarrassing). I got Telephone Call asking if I could come down and get everyone out. Two Hours later everyone was free.

Does the jeep rev a 5k on the highway with 5.30 gears. Work do good with the gears but you highway drive hours to jobs. Did you change the transfer case. Gear vender makes an overdrive but you could run it in 2 wd ?

I agree with most of what you're saying here, but I understand that most (all?) states allow tow trucks doing a repo to take cars off of private property as long as the car isn't behind a gate or inside a garage. So, car in a driveway or under a carport may be snagged and the law will be on the side of the tow operator, assuming they have a valid legal reason for the repo. Try to stop them by force and things will go poorly. Just FYI.

Repo's would be included as police would explain to land owner what is being done. Totally different situation than these guys deciding to go driving on private property. when you double the power of a winch with a pulley there's no reason for a larger one
and 9k is plenty for a jeep

That's on them, NOT the land owners that paid for that land and pays the Taxes. I got news for you, That is Trespassing plain and simple in any state. I catch anyone on my land I can block them in quickly with a tractor and then block them in with logs, equipment, whatever and prevent anyone from removing them. Gosh Mike, sorry your tires went flat, guess you'll have to fix them first but stay off my land as I have Trespassed you. The Law is on my side to do so and good luck trying to get a Judge to force me to let you have access onto my Private Property. Careful going onto private property and that includes tow trucks unless it's obvious accident.

The gov has stolen our land and that is why they are trying to gather up the Abstracts which prove that the land was originally sold to developers free of any gov claims. I am also right that anyone drives whatever onto my land they do NOT have the right to recover it. Doesn't matter if it's a brand new truck with a loan on it I can block it in and nothing but a Judge can force me to allow it to be romoved. Pretty unlikely to happen unless it is a crime scene and how long does it take to go to court?

I agree with most of what you're saying here, but I understand that most (all?) states allow tow trucks doing a repo to take cars off of private property as long as the car isn't behind a gate or inside a garage. So, car in a driveway or under a carport may be snagged and the law will be on the side of the tow operator, assuming they have a valid legal reason for the repo. Try to stop them by force and things will go poorly. Just FYI.
@@willdejong7763 I already stated that legit tow trucks can recover vehicles of accidents or crime from private proprety which police would be there. Repo's would be included as police would explain to land owner what is being done. Totally different situation than these guys deciding to go driving on private property. You keep coming up with " What If's " that don't apply to this case. Perhaps you should ask a cop before you come driving on my farms. I know the law and don't need any FYI from you.
