Not sure actually how the queens own intelligence network managed to blunder the fact that the shield hero was alienated, scorned, and essentially abused in every way short of physical torture(unless you count spear hero dishonorable duel physical torture?) by the idiocy of the rest of the royal family that he had met at that point both directly and indirectly through their subjects swayed opinions from the royals. I mean, really why didn't they inform her to why the shield hero was leaving in the first place?

This is a very cathartic scene, but I don’t think Melty thought this through. I can think of at least three good reasons why Naofumi apologizing to the king is a terrible idea: A) Their argument literally just happened and both of them are still clearly upset over it. Trying to get them to talk it out now should only lead to another argument. B) The only leverage Naofumi has in a future discussion would be his physical power, so if Trash starts making unrealistic demands, which Melty should know he will, based off the information she’s been given, the only real pushback Naofumi could give is more death threats. C) Naofumi has nothing to gain and everything to lose by interacting with Trash, and he’s just started a journey to a foreign country he’s never been to, a journey said to take at least a few weeks to complete. Meaning that turning around and going back would actively inhibit his ability to do his job, which is saving the world. Nice try, runt, but your tsundere appeal can only carry you so far.

The meaning in this clip, begins right after the end of this sequence, when imperial army troops attempt to murder Melty, and magically record it, in order to make our Hero Naofumi into a murderer. Naofumi protected Melty, from this attack, forcing the Church of the 3-Heroes into a protracted ‘plan b’ (Naofumi kidnaps Melty). Not true, but the public knows nothing and can be convinced over time. Melty saw everything, and over time began to trust Naofumi, eventually helping him, in every subsequent battle. The Queen, Melty’s mother, became very proud of the friendship that developed, and became one of many reasons for Queen Melomarc’s decent treatment of Naofumi, which followed. -- But again, none of these meanings are possible without the understands for Melty, which follows in the subsequent 2-minutes of video... ... missing in your post of this video. brandon bean Melty’s mother (Queen Melromarc) very much wanted to make peace with Naofumi, but could not do that personally because she was very busy in other countries; trying to keep peace alive there. She sent Melty back to Melromarc, in order to try to patch things up between Naofumi and the King (Melty’s father, who had always tried to treat Melty well). Melty assumed, without facts, that this argument between her father and Naofumi; was a simple misunderstanding, at this point in the story. It wasn’t till much later, that she learned the Truth; that her father and her sister had sided with the Church of the Three Heroes, which used this opportunity to topple the government and take over as a theocracy. Malty had assumed falsely, that killing Melty (her sister) would place Malty back into the line of succession (she would become Queen with the death of her parents), not knowing that she would be purged (murdered) by the Church. -- But all of that was yet to be revealed, passed this video. Malty and her father (the Queen’s husband), would be prosecuted for treason, and executed (saved by inches, by a comical request from Naofumi himself), and Naofumi would get his honor back, by the revelations in Court, of Malty’s lies against Naofumi. also, if you're saying that Melty is horrible at doing her job.... what does that make the king? she MAY be horrible but she stands with justice and doesn't discriminate... plus she also tried to solve the problem peacefully yet sadly her father was too much of an idiot, while the shield hero was hurt so bad that he simply lost hope at almost everyone
@@Goro_Goro_Demon before you do something you collect information, so you can make an informed decision. Not knowing the truth is not a defence. It only shows her lack of preparation. On top of that she tried to solve the situation by making the shield hero apologize to the king, which frankly is a terrible insult because shield hero has done nothing wrong and was the wronged party.

To be honest, if I were told that, I would have pointed to the cart and ask "What support?" since it is kind of obvious that tif there was supposed to be some kind of assistance, there wouldn't be bare minimums being passed around (unless if the split is 33-33-33-1, to which I feel like saying 1% was too generous...)

You have some promise, but this clip (while stolen and a copyright infringement) stands as too short to have meaning.
The meaning in this clip, begins right after the end of this sequence, when imperial army troops attempt to murder Melty, and magically record it, in order to make our Hero Naofumi into a murderer.
Naofumi protected Melty, from this attack, forcing the Church of the 3-Heroes into a protracted ‘plan b’ (Naofumi kidnaps Melty). Not true, but the public knows nothing and can be convinced over time.
Melty saw everything, and over time began to trust Naofumi, eventually helping him, in every subsequent battle. The Queen, Melty’s mother, became very proud of the friendship that developed, and became one of many reasons for Queen Melomarc’s decent treatment of Naofumi, which followed.

Melty’s mother (Queen Melromarc) very much wanted to make peace with Naofumi, but could not do that personally because she was very busy in other countries; trying to keep peace alive there.
She sent Melty back to Melromarc, in order to try to patch things up between Naofumi and the King (Melty’s father, who had always tried to treat Melty well).
Melty assumed, without facts, that this argument between her father and Naofumi; was a simple misunderstanding, at this point in the story.
It wasn’t till much later, that she learned the Truth; that her father and her sister had sided with the Church of the Three Heroes, which used this opportunity to topple the government and take over as a theocracy.
Malty had assumed falsely, that killing Melty (her sister) would place Malty back into the line of succession (she would become Queen with the death of her parents), not knowing that she would be purged (murdered) by the Church.

But all of that was yet to be revealed, passed this video. Malty and her father (the Queen’s husband), would be prosecuted for treason, and executed (saved by inches, by a comical request from Naofumi himself), and Naofumi would get his honor back, by the revelations in Court, of Malty’s lies against Naofumi.
All in episode-21, yet to happen.
