@garyblackwoodpoker I was thinking that too, that you beat value from some recs so it's still an easy call, until you're up against that one player that has no bluffs and never bets worse for value. So I guess when K10s is only a bluff catcher, we still fold so rarely that it's a snap call here. I guess I don't have enough hours to be ready to snap call without taking a moment.

Can I also ask why you play the hours where there are less casual rec players? You are working hours like poker is a 9-5 and not played in card rooms against tired drunk casuals?

@@claytonplaia I didn't think he could have a weak jack. It's gone bet, call, raise $125, call, call, and then action on him. I didn't put any Jx in his range as all the action leading up to that point would look scary to a jack. I could be wrong though, you're not the only one who thinks it's a bad fold! 😆
@@garyblackwoodpoker personally, if I was BB I would never be raising with anything stronger than JT+. But I may throw in the raise with my weakest jacks essentially to try and bluff my opponent off a better jack, and to protect my very weak kicker. Plus I think some flush draws may do this. It could be the right/correct fold but I can’t make the fold in your shoes. Either way, thanks for the quality stuff

Neither 8T...then must be 87...or T9c. That 3-bet overbet looks to me a desperate action, to win this pot at all cost. ($350 reraise would do the same damage as $575). Obviously, he did not want you in, and decided to finish it all on flop.
@@garyblackwoodpoker he was backreraiser!! First he flattened a very small (1/5) bet, then he 3-bet. Would a monster hand flatted the baby flop bet with 2 more people behind? If they all call, then his monster would be in deep shh...troubles! lol So: I am even more convinced, that: BB called flop bet with a drawing hand hoping it gets through, so he get cheap price for turn drawing hand. Once he realized, his drawing hand is in jeopardy, decided to blast. I don't even think he thought he was going against a triple 8.

In case H called, then btn would reevaluated on turn, and perhaps fired second barrel to finish the job. Risking $360 to win $545 and to buy a turn card is not bad at all.
