This was an AMAZING video! Very well done! I loved all the tips and tricks you threw in there. I've been in the service 15 years and done 4x tours overseas, and I'm constantly looking for better ways to pack my gear (I'm kind of obsessed about having my gear streamlined and organized...) I have seen this product online before, but I've never heard it explained. So, THANK YOU for being the one to do it! I would absolutely LOVE to set my stuff up this exact same way, but that is a HEFTY price tag! I could absolutely justify it to myself, but....It would take a minute or two to pull the trigger to order it. Oh well, buy once - cry once, right? Again, fantastic video! Thank you so much! Absolutely loved it!
Appreciate the comments! Keep an eye out because I am talking with the guys are Tasmanian Tiger to see if they can put something together at a more affordable price. More to follow in the future
I have no idea. I try and avoid the confusion of SO Techs website because they cluster most of their products together and this is all apart of the kit that goes in the 1660
Yes, I’m closing out a few videos and reviews of the equipment I currently have from them and then I’ll be hitting them up and seeing what their thoughts are on a couple of new products and ideas
@@LegionPreparednessunderstanding that my comment is 2years after yours did you end up switching? Is there any place to get the SOtech lid organizer without ordering the entire kit? I don't have a spare $1k laying around. Lol.
@@jtatro I have the new pelican case molle and it’s not bad . It can be difficult to mount some molle pouches but so far I like it and you don’t spend nearly as much right off the bat. Unfortunately I have not seen any reasonably priced molle panels .. maybe it’s a sign I should make one lol
The only issue that I have with the 1660 is the depth. I have a hard bed cover on my truck and the 1660 won’t fit under the cover. For me, the 1630 or the 1690 works well, but there are not a lot of options for lid organizers. The 1690 is borderline too big for one person to handle, especially fully loaded.
sotechtactical.com/collections/s-o-tech-classics/products/modular-medical-case-organizer-system The Smaller bags come apart of this whole kit. I wish they would break up the kit to where you could buy the individual pieces. S.O. Tech is one of the companies on my list to get in contact with because a handful of people have asked me about that whole setup.

What is the model number of the SO TECH bags on the bottom? I do not see them on their website, unless they are non-standard / not stocked?

@@LegionPreparedness It looks like the bags are only available as part of the entire 1660 kit system, not individually.
how to get the right bag for the 1660 model ..?
I dont understand your question?
@@LegionPreparedness i was watch your video i like that bag hang on the lid door on your 1660 model case u have i wonder where can i get me one ?
Ahhhh okay yes the molle panel and pouch kit can be purchased through s.o. Tech / special operation technologies
nice set up. now we want to see you repack it again 🙃...... without the vac.
lol
Any progress with Tasmanian Tiger? Would be an awesome alternative to SOTech

Hey do you have the links to all the pouches and bags? Thanks!

When mounting your lid pouches, did you use the SO Tech panel, or the rigid panel from Grey Man Tactical? Keep up the great vids!
SO Tech however I do have the grey man and I am going to take a look at swapping those out and or seeing if the tas tiger will work I’m their as well

@@LegionPreparedness there's an idea. Where did you get your panel from? All I'm finding are 1650 panels.
Any cheaper options 😅
Not that I have seen. I wish but pelican is always making new stuff.
Which one better 1660 or 1650?
Both very different in size. That decision is going to be base more around what you are doing

Weight of the box alone?

Any chance on getting these pouches without the medical stuff m?

Can you take this case on a plane as luggage?
You can if your under the weight limits
isnt it so more about dimensions with this kind of case?@@LegionPreparedness
Great video, thanks for the content. How much does your deployment box weigh when packed?
Probably around 75-100 lbs depending on the time of year
Cold weather gear usually adds up real quick
SO Tech needs to sell the lid pouches separately !!!! GIVE THE PEOPLE WHAT THEEY WANT!!!!
agreed! their customer service is not great
