I’m leaning towards this being a Cenozoic Pack, consisting of;
Otodus megalodon
Smilodon populator
Mammuthus primigenius
Phorusrhacos longissimus
The two most iconic prehistoric mammals, the most famous prehistoric Shark & an Avian Dinosaur.
Thats seems most likely but personally id swap mammoth with megalania or some land croc

Frontier have directly stated that they're not going to be making prehistoric Mammals.
My theory is a few weeks Cenozoic pack releases, then later this summer an Aviary pack with walking animations and social interactions, and fall to early winter a final expansion with Microceratus and Becklespinax
Hopefully the rest of the canon species make it in
Yeah boi, we're *_FINALLY_* getting the greatest predator of all time in a park building game! Again, still not convinced this is the end of Evolution 2. Planet Zoo's still going strong and I'm really not sure what Gareth Edwards' upcoming movie can offer to justify cancelling Evolution 2 to make way for an Evolution 3 *_YET._*
And Chaos Theory too. To me it's not worth it to make an entire new game just for one new movie. JWE 2 was made because of Dominion but it managed to improve JWE 1's gameplay. And here i don't see in any way JWE 2 could be improved
They have got to make Evolution 3 and change barely anything just like 2 so they can sell more DLC of previously availible features and options (It's called the Sims method)
Always 1 step forward 2 steps silently taken back just to take a step forward again with DLC for them to pretend to be flashy and new!

If we got Megalodon I would cry tears of utter joy. I'm a fish keeper and i just finished setting up my 4th tank as a gift to my mom. Guess my next tank will be in the virtual world of JWE2

@@EyeOfEternity3 I actually have 5 tanks (whoopse!) and as generic as they may be, I absolutely adore goldfish. For fish, they're very intelligent despite that ridiculous look on their face, and I actually train them in my free time. They're very social and even capable of recognizing individual faces. I doubt they love me, but I'm glad they trust me/don't see me as a threat haha.
- I have 4 common goldfish I rescued from a neighbor with a southern painted turtle in the 50 gallon.
- Two fancy goldfish (Oranda/Ryukin) in the 25 gallon.
-7 Neon Tetras, 12 glowlight tetras and a crayfish in the 15 gallon
- cherry shrimp in a 3 gallon (lost count).
- and lastly the Betta for my mom, who was also a rescue. He's in a 5 gallon (which I know isn't the most appropriate) but I had him quarantined for a bit and he made a recovery after being extremely sick. Sadly I have nowhere else to put such an aggressive fish.
The common goldfish will be moved to a pond I'm building once they start reaching the size of their ancestors as one has already grown exponentially! Then the fancy goldfish will be moved to the 50 gallon. I'll put the Betta in the 25 gallon alone if he survives until that day comes! Fingers crossed!
@@m.d.diablos4423 DANG! That’s awesome! I’d love a ranchu goldfish one day but I don’t have room for a proper tank on top what I already have. Their faces are so stupid and cute and their personalities are just the best. I hope the betta makes a recovery, poor little guy. I’m sure your mom will cherish him greatly! I have 2 bettas, one was a rescue and is in a 10 gallon tank and the other is in a 20 gallon tank with a mystery snail. My 30 gallon has 10 neon Tetra, a few platy and zebra danios along with some Juli cories (which are my favorite in the tank, they’re so adorable)

Maybe it’ll be a Giants pack? Argentinasaurus, Shantoungosaurus, Megalodon, Dienosuchus? Like some of the largest members of each family yk
Okay, hear me out. Prehistoric Wildlife Pack: Megalodon, Meganura, Postusuchus, and Microceratus.
If anything Microceratus will most likely be in some kind of herbivore pack instead of tossing it into some random pack with no coherence

This pack is MASSIVELY incoherent. One is a Cenozoic fish, one’s a Carboniferous insect, one’s a Triassic crocodile, and one’s a Cretaceous ceratopsian. None of them have anything in common.

Honestly hope they break their dlc format for this one. Just 4 maybe 5 species that have almost nothing to do with each other, well one would just end up with a couple of animals that are simply hard to properly use on parks.
Didn't the first couple of dlcs for the game pretty much do that cause I remember there were alot of mixed species like 2 land 1 air amd 2 water creatures for example
@@Darkwarp1994 The thing is those were Mesozoic animals, many of wich shared roughly the same places in time as base game animals. So yeah those are waaaaaaaaay easier to use in parks.
Cenozoics are probably gonna be about as flexible as hybrids if not less, unless we see a decent amount of them.
I think whatd be cool is if it was like a "aquatics of the cenozoic" pack, which adds megalodon, maybe a new turtle like stupendemys, the giant penguin Icadyptes, and the games first mammal basilosaurus or perucetus or livyathan. Maybe theyd add new ice decorations for the lagoon and give a teaser for a much larger cenozoic mammals pack which would probably be the last dlc of the game. I imagine if they add mammals theyd wanna go balls to the walls with saberteeth, mammoths, giant sloths, doedicurus the works! And maybe between packs we'll get the fabled "fan favorites" which would finally give us microceratus
No offence but I think that’d be horrible, we already have a full marine pack and getting another is super unnecessary at this state of the game. With the little packs left having another pack focused only on marines is not what we need. Then we would have 6 more marine species than aviary creatures and considering aviary creatures are more unique with more animations and interactions with land creatures I’d much rather a pack of aviary animals instead of a SECOND marine pack.
This is definitely not the last pack. Were definitely gonna get a pack based on the new camp cretaceous show afterwards

@@AshfanAzabs true but generally we can make a fair guess based on the toy lines, in general everything in the series/movie will be in the toy line but not everything in the toy line will be in the series/movie and well the only new species in the toy line is Becklespinax which already looks the same as Concaventor
@@josephapsey9965 I don't really know how many seasons Jurassic World Chaos Theory will have, so there might be additional new species introduced in the future if the show goes on. However, since they've included most of the ones from camp cretaceous, I'm pretty confident that they will also add Becklespinax. This practically guarantees another DLC. They won't call it Chaos Theory pack, but they could include Becklespinax along with other species like they did with tarbo, notho, and spinocera.
I’ll never forget being told by so many that the meg would never be added into JWE2. The same about Archelon and the dunky. Perhaps people in the Jurassic community need to learn to not write things off so quickly.
I don't get why so many people thought something like the Meg was so far fetched for JWE2.
Maybe Frontier needs to listen to what the people want earlier amd more often

Plus they did the same thing to the remaining hybrids from the first game and look where we are now
I’d like to see an update to the lagoons that allows for natural lakes and inland oceans. Makes it hard for site B style parks to incorporate the marine creatures without it looking manmade. We know they can do natural barriers because of the Malta dlc. So why not include that like the invisible fence or at the very least make multiple maps that use the natural lagoon to have some variety. It would also be nice to maybe bridge a gap with some dual enclosures and have marine creatures and dinosaurs in the same enclosure. Maybe an invisible barrier that allows creatures to drink from the shore of the water or some of the amphibious creatures to swim in shallow parts of the lagoon before a drop in depth occurs. This might also open the door to us being able to change topography in the lagoons and make interesting enclosures
This will clearly be a Megalodon Statue Decoration addition!
I do hope it’s a Cenozoic pack, although if these are the only 4 animals we ever get from the Cenozoic it would be a little sad. Tough to pick only 4 animals to represent the entire Cenozoic pack.

Anyone remember that movie *The Meg*? This is giving me a ton of the same vibe. Also, what if it's not a cinezoic pack, but like to go alongside the Marine pack we get the Deep Lagoon pack? Think about this:
In the Malta Natural Lagoon, there is a shallow section closer to the park and then a really deep section going closer to the ocean. What if this is Frontier's way of adding a bigger lagoon, so that we can get more decorations like Kelp Forests and others and fully upgrade the lagoons?
As excited as I am for the megalodon, I hope we receive some love for the flying reptiles sometime soon. At this point I think they have gotten the least amount of attention, and they DESPERATELY need walking animations to make them feel more alive. (Plus I really want a hatzegopteryx without the use of mods)
this isn't the last dlc, they will continue making dlc for the game for several more years

We have the Chaos theory show this year...and next year the film which MOST likely Will add a few more species to the roster of the Jurassic franchise

I’m completely convinced it’s a Cenozoic Pack of some kind, with Megalodon and Smilodon.
I think a mammoth is very likely for the 3rd spot. The woolly mammoth is one of those extinct animals that’s just too popular to ignore.
For the final slot I think it will either be a rhino or a bird. Coelodonta, Elasmotherium, and Paraceratherium all seem possible to me. I also think a terror bird is possible and would be pretty exciting. My personal choice would be Argentavis for the aviaries thpugh.
what would be nice is a lagoon tour or a underwater walkway for the lagoon
I know this will probably be the last DLC but if I was in charge there would be 3 more.
This one would be Cenozoic pack - Megalodon, Smilodon, Megatherium, Woolly Mammoth
followed by
Tiny Dinosaur Pack - Microceratus, Mussaurus, Lesothosaurus, Rhamphorhynchus and
Forgotten Dinosaur Pack - Hadrosaurus, Ornitholestes, Peloroplites and Teratophoneus

I do hope this isn’t the final DLC as I don’t think it would make sense for us to not get an avian species pack, not only do I want that but I really want some updates for the aviaries too, like taller/larger aviaries, trees for birds to perch on, etc
My guess is they are releasing this pack a little bit sooner so they can have time to work on an expansion next. Maybe a chaos theory expansion

I really think it’s a Cenozoic I was hoping for Microcratus but this is amazing I think the four animals are The Meg,Smilodon because of camp Cretaceous,The Wooly Mammoth because it’s a fan favorite and personally a terror bird specifically Kelenken because it fits it of birds are Dino descendants and for if a possible update I’m hoping for some skins like for Velociraptor form jp 3 they can use some of the concept art for the skins and could make skins for the 2022 para skins or new variants for like triceratops andmemenchisaurus,For attractions I don’t have any ideas but maybe a bridge or something idk maybe scenery items so hopefully waterfall these are idea and pls let sorapods fight back but otherwise I’m excited 🤩 and can’t wait for it!!!!

I'm actually excited to see Megalodon! Originally thought I wasn't but then I started thinking about all the possibilities we could have with having this big shark in our parks and how it will play within the game. Like what is it social animation going to be? How will it eat from the shark feeder? Will it have special interactions? Possibilities are endless here.
If it is a Cenozoic pack, I’d think the Meg, Mammoth, Smilodon, and possibly Terrorbird would be decent guesses.

Probably more likely it'll be a Cenozoic Pack - most likely also with Smilodon, the Woolly Mammoth and *_POSSIBLY_* a terror bird.
Hahaha yeah if that is NOT a Megalodon, I have no idea what Frontier is doing. The Dunkleosteus was mistaken for a shark because all we got for the teaser was part of a silhouette, and a fin. But with those teeth? Yeah, I think Megalodon is a pretty safe bet. I am curious how much longer Frontier is planning on working on JWE2 and PZ... A Cenozoic pack could be interesting. There's also a possibility for a pack like "Apex Predators" or something. Not sure what else would be in there, but that's an option.

I kinda agree. Considering how large the roster of mammals got in Prehistoric Kingdom, Frontier would have to make a HUGE expansion to compete with that.
Not to mention they'd have to create a technology or heavily alter the feather tech to accommodate fur, which would take a lot of work for only 2, maybe 3 at most animals
I disagree.for me it's most likely a cenozoic pack.That would also explain why they did release the Hybrid pack(which Is Basically Copy and paste of the creatures of the old game) without any kind of free update...Also if you guys Remember at the beginning they said that they didn't have any intention to add any fish to the game...and now we have the dunkleosteus.They probably gave US the Hybrid pack to keep US occupied...

I don't think is the last DLC but I am on board with the Cenozoic Pack idea. Would track with the last few DLCs wrapping up all the CC animals and it does seem like a pretty heavy Meg hint with the teaser. The Anniversary for the game is in November so I think it's possible we might get our big wrap up everything expansion then along with a free anniversary gift to be our send off.
i'm still holding hope that there will be at least one more pack based on the patterns of adding at least one canon species per pack lately and that one of the others will be along the lines of "Cretaceous Prey Pack" and gives us microceratus and some other smaller "harmless" herbivores, which the game is seriously lacking
if that IS the case, though, then it would invert what i'd thought about a Cenozoic Pack--i'd thought that it could be the very last one since it DOES still kinda thematically clash with it being JURASSIC World but it IS still a very popular idea for where the game could go next and would also work as a taste of the future in a probably-inevitable sequel

The last 3 packs in a row have all added missing Camp Cretaceous species: Nothosaurus, Tarbosaurus, and Spinoceratops. Almost guaranteed that this is a Cenozoic pack adding Smilodon.
Megalodon is my favorite prehistoric shark and I own a Meg tooth so I’m really looking forward to it in game and hoping for a boat tour with the free update

I don't know if that's gonna be the Megalodon or not if i didn't know any better. But it might just be the Cretoxyrhina or the Sqalicorax.
It has to be a Cenozoic pack because the previous expansions featured at least one Camp Cretaceous creature in the Marine pack there was Nothosaurus, in the carnivore pack there was Tarbosaurus, and now finally the secret species pack which has the Spinoceratops. So here’s how it is one is an event two is a coincidence three or more is a pattern.

In all honesty I'm an offline gamer so my excitement depends if they make a complete edition on ps5 in the future

Smiodon will probably be in this pack. The last few DLC packs have included 1 animal from camp Cretaceous. Smilodon is the last one that’s not in there.
Could be a finale pack, something like the “More Teeth” pack
Honestly was kind of hoping for a herbivore or pterosaur pack. I don't know how well mammals will fit in the game, but then again I thought the same about Dunkleosteus before release and now I love it. We'll have to wait and see.
Cenozoic pack makes sense since megalodon was from the cenozoic, if it is a cenozoic pack we will likely see megalodon, smilodon, woolly mammoth and so 4th creature maybe woolly rhino

Well, Megalodon is from the Cenozoic Era, so that seems more likely.
Maybe Microceratus is being saved as a free update Dinosaur. that way everyone wins.
If we're getting Microceratus, it will probably be in another DLC sometime later.

Just because we didn't get a free update and the last DLC (the secret species) got mix opinions, I don't think the end of JWE2 is near. And if we do get cezonic animals, I'm curious how they are going to behave.

Again i don't think this is the last dlc. There is the new movie and chaos theory. They definently won't miss those and the game can go for a new year
i'm calling it now--this'll be a Cenozoic Pack and give us the smilodon, too. here's hoping it'll be an extra-big pack with more than just the traditional 4-5 species (i've long felt that Frontier could reduce their workload for one of those by modifying existing models from _Planet Zoo,_ since most of the best-known Cenozoic animals are "just" bigger, hairier versions of extant ones)
I'm down for whatever Frontier throws at us for dlc, just as long what's being offered is worth purchasing and not something half assed that should have been a free update.

Megalodon or not, at least Dunkleosteus will not be the only fish in game. And i don't think this will be the final dlc, we still miss Microceratus and Chaos Theory+the new Jurassic movie are coming soon. It's just not worth it to make an entire new game if the tv show is coming in a few months
