I am admittedly late to the Colin Cripps fanclub, but finally getting to see Blue Rodeo live last year (Feb 8, just prior to Covid) and watching Colin just killing it, I was a fan by the end of the night! Blue Rodeo is absolutely one of the best live bands you will ever see, period!
Colin is a really special artist. His sense of melody, timing, emotion, power and creativity are evident throughout his career. He is a gem. I’ve only seen him once at an outside venue with questionable sound. I would love to see him in a proper venue again. He is one of the best guitarist in the biz.
Love Colin’s tone! At 4:32 he plays the signature riff from “In State” by Kathleen Edwards which, for me, encapsulates everything great about his playing.
Curious if Colin played the solo on "you're everywhere" on casino? (Interesting Colin mentioned Jonny Marr). Colin's a very underrated player, fantastic instincts!
Amazing guitarist, and when you hear him speak it is like you have been friends forever, so comfortable. I could listen to his guitar all day long

The tone at 9:20 is soooo good.

This guy is right up there with the best. Watch him playing with Kathleen Edwards. Incredible.
Cripps did some writing on THE PLEASURE AND THE GREED. Easily one of the coolest and sonically richest rock albums of all time.
I met Colin when I rented a 24 channel snake. I was only 17 so he took a polaroid pic of me ! lol but he was really nice to me !
