you can probably program in most of those software features in infotainment using some kind of $99 obd2 scan tool. you can even make your bmw 318d have rolls-royce phantom infotainment screen and sounds. it's cheaper for car makers to make one software for all cars under their corporation and then lock features on some cars and hope owners dont ffind them

S680 is longer than Ghost also has longer wheelbase. Phantom is longer than S680. There is also S-Class Pullman which is significantly longer than Phantom

In South Africa the bottom radiator vents for the Obsidian Black version is black instead of Chrome for the S680

That garish chrome is primarily for the Chinese market (which traditionally are attracted to "precious metal" looking trim), and ironically Chinese auto makers try subdue their designs to attract more European and American markets (which have trended toward blacked-out or body colour trim). Crazy world.

For me the W222 S650 was more beautiful. At some point the chrome gets too much like here and spoils everything. BUT i will still take a 57S any day!
The 57S was a real Maybach. This one here is a "Pimp My Ride" S- Class.

I love the S680 with the same V12 engine but concentrate all that luxury in the driver's seat cause I like to drive myself. Also make some with the regular body length. Oh! Keep the rims as they are, they match the front.
I wish it actually had some Maybach engine technology in it.
Instead Maybach is just a trim package. Sad really.
Engine is tuned in a special way, to be more smooth than all other engines.
@@IvanSensei AMG does a great job, no doubt. I drive a 2023 G63.
But Mercedes only owns the Maybach name wich they bought in the early 1960's. Maybach changed it's name to MTU and remained in Freiderichshafen building motors for tanks and commercial applications.
