To chain/weld the oilpump nut is a very good idea. Congratulations to the owner and big respect to you for such a wonderful job done
Thanks Mehmed! If someone decide to weld the oil pump nut, he needs to be little bit careful. If he apply little bit to much heat, while welding, the oil pump shaft can get softer, which can lead to braking of this portion, especially on this vibration known engines.
@@crank3646 You are always welcome, and I thank you. How happy I would be to see you tear down my engine and rebuild it again, eliminating every weakness
Found your channel thru the ecu tuning videos and I have to say you're doing a good job! I have a question in regards to ecu tuning an e36 325tds with a bosch ecu. Do you think it's possible to do it in a similar fashion as the ms41 ecu and if so can you suggest me some learning resources that I can look in to?
Thanks Boosted !
I haven't tuned tds before, but from the things that I know, it is going to be totally different. Your ECU doesn't have tune platform like Siemens MS41. Which means you going to probably need to use WinOLS to find your maps and after that tune it, which is much more complicated for use. The other thing, if i'm not mistaking is that these bosch units, have flash memory inside, that is one time use. In other words, you going to need different flash memory everytime you are changing something to your tune or it was with ultraviolet light for blanking the chip and after that writing it ... can't remember. Those old Bosch ECUs are not tune friendly for sure :D
Does the hub of the ATI damper needs to be honed to match the ID of the stock pulley? please do a video of removing the pulley too. thanks
No. We manage to remove it with some simple hub puller attached with 3 bolts to the ATI
Warum brauchst du den m56 Deckel?
Hi, Where did you buy ATI?
Many ATIs need an adapter, VAC doesn't?
I ordered it on VAC website. They are a reseller of many brands. No adapter was needed, and fit was very tight.
Bro I had a engine swap looks like the m56 the oil cap is at the front left and there's no ccv when I looked im pushing out white smoke and I found a hose that lead to the back with a screw on the end of it.could that be a valve cover .also while inwas down there I pulled out the oil tube or dips stick . And it started over flowing with oil ... plz help thank you so much

Hello Sam! It is saying that is ok, because +/-5 is stated for ok. I didn't understand what is the problem with the car? Is it misfiring?
Hello🙂 ci I want to ask about disabling the ccv at the m54b30 engine and using an oil catch tank. The engine is designed for drift. Is this a good idea? Thank you very much for the info
@@crank3646 Thank you very much for your answer 🙂 And any instructions on how to connect correctly?
@@denybrambora6595 You can run just direct hose from the valve cover to the gearbox for the oil gases to escape. It will be little bit oily but nothing excessive
@@crank3646 Thank you very much. And can I write somewhere else like Instagram or Messanger?
👍
Comprehensive explanations. Excellent! Thank you.
Please do an M60/M62, if at all possible. I appreciate your mention of BMW technical update recommendations, for example, the use of the hydraulic tensioner instead of the mechanical.
