Tried it, but it doesn't work with just the vertical line. When pasting in Google Forms one must add ( ) parenthesis at the beginning and the end of the pattern, else it doesn't work.
May be it's updated ..i will check it .thank you for the information

Use email collection and restrict to one response...so that with one mail we can get only one response even they try from another device....because we are using mail id for restricting them...btw sorry for late reply

CONTAGENATE function limits to 100 numbers only, more than that it was fixing to 100th number only, it was showing 100th number even in 1001st number
when they forward google from with mobile number to someone then no use of this option right?
We can't get a proper solution with basic available validation options.
We need to work on scripts for the solution as per our requirement

how to allow only numbers with hyphen (-) in google form
Here is a problem when a time using double devices by a single person and he use same mobile number in both devices for open next section then i m not secure. in this situation how can be secure i wants it a single time use a pasward for a device only

From chatgpt regular expression max length is 2048 characters. I e around 200 phone numbers. But we need to refer googl forms official documentation to check latest updates

Create a google form------>create a spread sheet of the particular google form----->type the phone numbers to be validated from external source---->cancanate--->type the questions in google form in another section after phone number section.

I need help. I was using this method during and after the pandemic. Last week when I have need student, I create their codes, I pasted it in the google form. To my surprise it did not work like how it used to be. It is frustrating to see this happen. Anyone knows why?

I have been using this excellent method of allowing specific candidate to fill out the Google form but unfortunately this month it is no longer functioning. Any candidate can enter with any number and can access the activity. Is there any other way of doing the same thing?

One solution is to restrict the duplicate ...that is not possible with available features of Google forms ..may be developers can achieve Using script edit.
Second option is to use unique mail id along with mobile and restrict them to one response
Some certain emails often spam on my google forms. Do you know anyway to block them without blocking other people???
We can use response validation for email field to not to allow certain domains

If the mobile numbers to be validated are frequently updated,then how to implement it ?
As the validation field regular expression is static.....there is no way to update it automatically from updated numbers....
If we are using gogle spreadsheet where these mobile numbers are updating time to time ...then there is a possibility...but in such case we need to use script editor instead of this regular expression

Can we validate name on the basis of mobile number entered?
We can't validate one field answer with other fied answer....but Google developers can do with Google sheets and Google script
As a Google forms user we can just validate the individual fields with mentioned string

Hi thanks for this video! Is there a way to restrict some specific emails or mails that are from other schools? To avoid copy my form. For example restrict: alva@gmail.com, all the emails that contain @school.com. Is this possible? I really appreciate if you can help me.
The simplest solution is to have gsuite account for your school..so that every student with school domain can access the form...but not others..
If u don't have gsuite account..then writing a regular expression which Doesn't contain "@school.com"
