MrTailsprower7 I always fail to becoming a starter in my basketball team. I’m always that bench guy who only plays like 3-5 minutes. I will prove them wrong next year.

Fearless Grizzlybomber I used to be the one always on the substitution bench when I played soccer I was never a starter I gave up but then I found myself at it again after 2 years and I’m still the one sitting down, one day I
Will prove them all wrong the ones who didn’t believe Im good enough! no matter how many failures you have in life the main thing is not to quit & to keep going, NO MATTER WHAT.

I was born with many learning disabilities including dyslexia, ADD, dysgraphia, and Tourette's syndrome. I was a class clown who was constantly looked down on by my peers, coaches, teachers, and even family.
I had a dream to go to one of the best universities in the United States. When I told people that I wanted to go there, they would tell me to aim lower, or laugh at me. Not a soul on earth believed in me. I went to a junior college with a plan to achieve my dream. Every night I would study for hours on end with a plan in mind to achieve my dream. I was fueled by all the people that told me I couldn't do it.
After three years of doing everything I could to achieve my dream, I was able to transfer into my dream school with a 3.9 GPA, and I graduated magna cum laude. Nobody believed in me, and I achieved what was considered to be beyond my ability.
My weaknesses are now strengths because of past failures. Never give up on your dreams. Never quit and don't be afraid of failure. You can do anything you want if you believe in yourself.

I had a good friend, Matt, growing up through high school.
He was a bright kid, did well on tests and stuff. But his parents, who were wealthy, kept giving him everything.
He never had to work during the summers (which is common here in the States). Anytime he needed anything, they handed him wads of cash. Anytime he made a mistake they bailed him out, never held him accountable.
Over time he just lost all motivation.
It hurts me to write this, but - here he is 34 years old, and he still hasn’t finished a college degree and literally lives in his parents’ basement. So much wasted potential already.
Spoiling a kid is the worst thing a parent can do.

I'll be starting my masters in accounting program in January. Been unemployed for two years. Been in approximately 50 interviews, but no one wants to hire me because of my lack of experience. @spartyfanatic123 thanks bro! Appreciate the support! I'm interning now, been since last week. My goals are to land an internship at PwC and get a high enough gmat score to earn acceptance at my school's masters program. Taking summer classes, working often and studying for the gmat at the moment. Next semester, my last semester, may be my last shot at PwC. Taking 5 courses next semester and my internship ends in December, which is great! It's just, man the struggle seems endless and my goals seem unreachable. Whenever I set a goal, there's always that huge setback in the beginning.
Thank you guys so much for your support and I wish you all the best upon your future endeavors!!!!

One thing to always do when feeling down about something is to always stay positive and to always look onto the bright side of things. Know that you fail, not when you lose but when you give up.

Guys, I was in 10th class when my teacher thrown me out of class and said that I am foolish and failure student ever in this universe. Then, I made my mind to let's wake up and let's shout loudly that "That Who Am I ? I Am The Champion". And I have done it by getting 1st Rank in my University. I tried to contact the same teacher who called me as Failure, however, I was shocked when I heard that he got Hart Attack and died yesterday.

I'm a struggling musician/artist/author/business entrepreneur and currently lost my money to bad business investments, told that my music is not good enough, my artwork won't sell, and my writing isn't enjoyable... technical difficulties with my bank won't allow the money from my job and my school to come in, like it should. And, as I write this, I only have $1 in my bank account. I have big dreams, and goals -- perhaps, even unrealistically big. But, no success stories yet... I'm only here for hope.

I came here because all my friends always talk sh*t and say I'm never going to make the NBA but I'll prove them wrong 2020
Hey guys this is a edit you guys are way toooo nice and i appreciate but i am 17 now and came to realization long time ago. i was not even going to go nowhere as far as i thought with basketball. I am just a regular guy i play video games with friends and go to school sorry to let you guys down but Hey i am planning on going to college and currently going through the enlistment phase of the army next week swearing in at meps for the people that know what i am talking about. But thanks again for believing in someone that you never met. I promise to you guys that i will be great even if its not basketball you have my word. 10/16/19 Update 5/27/20
I graduated highschool and No i did not make the NBA obviously and fuck all those people trying to be sarcastic in the comments but on another note I leave to basic training in a month ;) but to sum this up I didn’t make it to NBA but that doesn’t define my future it just wasn’t in gods plan so the key is to move forward and give it your all in what ever you do In which is for me now my military career and college.

I have been reading a CBT book which linked me to this video. As I’m reading and it gets to the one about the 11 year old with the growth hormone deficiency, I’m thinking “no way this book linked me to something about Messi” and sure enough it said his name and I broke down in tears because Messi just won the World Cup for Argentina and it was also his last year with the team. He didn’t give up on Argentina despite the past years and it truly hit me in my feels how even today he is still winning. He has 10 La Liga titles, 7 Copa del Rey titles, 4 UEFA Champions Leagues. He won the 2021 Copa América and the 2022 FIFA World Cup! This gives me so much hope and inspiration.

Thank you so much for this. I had my emotional breakdown...about to fail in an exam I am trying to clear since last 5 years...because of many reasons and 60% being my own mistakes.i will overcome
I gave my first medical entrance-Fail
    Second attempt in 2019- Fail
    Third attempt- Fail
**The reason being I got distracted with internet, friends , boyfriends, teenage problems and introverted nature. Also I found medical entrance quite tough for me.I know these are all solely my mistakes and I take responsibility, guilty about it.
Fourth attempt in 2021 - I am half prepared because those habit again distracted me plus this time I had financial issues as well. My parents are heartbroken by my results. After 13 days I have my exam and I know I didn't reach up to the mark but I improved a lot.
I am going to give my 5th attempt in next 8 months..and I will score 675/720 and will get VMMC Delhi India. Now my score range is 400/720...which used to be 180 in 2018.
I will make it and I won't stop there.
My ultimate goal is Harvard university. May be as a student or professor.
    I am 22 years

+Jesse failure and conflict is an everyday part of life. whether it be big or small you will fail at something.as will i,your teacher, your neighbor.everybody really.the only trick in starting things in life is to believe in yourself.i know its a cliche bear with me please.if you dont believe in yourself then you wont get anything done in life.if someone whether you know them or not tells you to quit something because you wont be good at it and you quit.you really were not serious from when you started.if you just believe in yourself and only taking in positive reinforcement. you will succeed.

Where is J.K. Rowling, author of the multi award winning Harry Potter book series!?
Her first book "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" was rejected 12 times by Publishes! She got divorced to her husband, was a single mother having to care for her baby daughter, was living, suffering in poverty and was diagnosed with Depression!
But now, after not giving up and writing the seven Harry Potter novels, on an old typewriter, is one of the richest people in the world. She is even richer than Queen Elizabeth The Second, Queen of the United Kingdom!
Her novels are the fastest selling books in history! She is a celebrity; adored by billions. She is now very rich, successful and amazing! Because she followed her dream and never gave up!

I think this is a wonderful video, and I really appreciate how it normalizes failures as well as pushing through life no matter what others say. I think that perseverance and not caring too much about what others say or think of you, is a very important trait that many adults don’t know, and children never learn.
I found the story of Albert Einstein to be especially inspiring. It’s crazy to think that a child who was considered to be less intelligent than the other children, and who didn’t learn to speak until years after other children his age, went on to be known as one of the most intelligent people to have ever lived. He earned a Nobel Prize for Physics, expanded upon numerous theories, and even created his own!
The story of Albert Einstein should be a sign for all of us to never give up, no matter what others think of us. In the end, all that matters is what we believe of ourselves, and what we believe we can do.
I do not have many stories about feeling as though I cannot do something just because someone else has told me I couldn’t, however, I often struggle with feeling as though I cannot do something because I have told myself that I cannot. However, one of the things I have learned is that the best way to push through this feeling is to simply try to accomplish whatever I see as a hard, impossible task. In this way, I rarely fail myself.
While it is true that we can do anything we put out mind to, it’s also okay to ask for help when we need it! We are only humans, we are not superheroes, and we do not need to deal with every one of life’s troubles by ourselves. If you are going thorough something and need help, please don’t be afraid to ask!

Not only did his band Black Sabbath become world famous, but the plastic tips gave his guitar playing a unique sound.

Moved here from China 4 years ago, I was 17 speak very little English living in an apartment with my parents and only have couple weeks to prepare for junior high... so many challenges from culture to knowledge, and how to make friends. I can't count how many times during these 4 years I've failed, embarrassed and rejected. I always get the fuck up and keep learning and trying new things. Today I work for a great company I am becoming more useful to this world and I dropped out of college to work for Dale Carnegie Training ,great company, and side hustle my film entrepreneurship. I have great mentors rooting for my success, and I couldn't be more blessed. I've been through lot of shit, shit storm that can make or break a person, and It made me. Its a choice people, choice is the essence of your existence. Choose wisely. its also a combination of hard work/discipline, work smart and being likeable. Hope you find my experience helpful.

Praveen Kumar well....I want HR and hence I want to do a mba in hr n ma in hr(human resources)....I have done a detailed psychological research ( I am a psychology student from delhi university) about the lack of hr department in police department and as to how it can solved and also I have done internship in a HR firm.....I don't want to open a business....I am not interested....I want to learn the intricacy of HR department and I can only do that with a mba in hr and hence, I applied to colleges which gives hr....
well, I might do civil service exam someday...who knows I am only 21...if I crack civils, I would like to introduce appraisal system of IAS N IFS which can be accessed by others among various things...I can go on on about the administration system n how we can change it practically....such kind of administration ideas can be made more practical n more effective with knowledge from MBA....
in other words, MBA aint restricted to opening business.....maybe its to be a financial analyst, be a marketing analyst and most importantly, cooperates hire people with mba....or you open your business with or without a mba....having your own business is a part of MBA. Also it can be an essential platform for people who have no business background.
FYI: people who comment about other's close-minded mentality are often close-minded themselves since they lack the empathy to understand In other's shoes...though, I agree you don't need a mba degree for a successful business...

Came here after failing a college exam. Felt numb when I saw the score, but I started tearing up when I thought about my parents. I almost felt like I failed them(I’m a first generation college student btw). They are working so hard and are happy for me being able to college, while here I am will a failed exam. I wrote an email to my professor asking how I can improve and I even told them how I see this failure as a challenge to overcome, but I didn’t 100% mean it, at least not anymore. I’m trying to be positive, and this video helped a bit.
