Hey Jess. I’d suggest doing your own research and advocating for her to get spayed before her 2nd heat! There are pros and cons to spaying early and waiting 1 heat but I’ve never seen a vet recommend 2 heats as the risks for certain cancers in females go up significantly after 2 heats! She would be fine to be spayed now😊
You can get her a doggy diaper for her next heat cycle to make it easier for your house and bath/clean her often to keep her clean if you know what I mean I had to do it for my fur baby and she didn’t mind the diaper thank god ( hope this helps )

I slipped on Tide Soap 6 weeks ago and got hurt really bad. My phone was on our kitchen counter about 30 feet away. I could not get up and had to scoot on my bottom to get to my phone. So painful to even move. It took over 45 minutes to scoot to the kitchen island to call my husband. I now wear my phone on a necklace everywhere, even to the bathroom in the middle of the night because I am so scared to be without my phone. These phone necklaces are perfect. I have several, different colors to match my outfits. Still on crutches bcuz I tore my muscles and ligaments in my groin, back, thigh and bottom. But the good news is that at 73 I didn't break anything. Wont ever be away from my phone ever again. You just never know.

Not to scare but the longer you wait the more likley to run a cancer risk I had a show dog and didnt spay her till late and had to treat her for cancer then she had a stroke and went blind and started having seizures and we lost her right before her 14 year birthday
