1 of the most informed vids out about the ss pro and ebikes in general. You've definitely done ur hw as much as I have 👌🏾 Appreciate an educated consumer
so glad to have found this channel, awesome video! edit: in case you’re not aware, the riding audio peaks several times during the video. usually when the voiceover audio clip ends
The 72v battery upgrade for Surron and Talaria alone is a 3000sq ft house mortgage. That alone is reason enough to get an Eride. Aside from the motor and controller, the Eride is 80% compatible with Surron parts.
Eride and Surron are for children who dont want an actual gearbox. Gearbox will always be better no watter what and the Sting R has a way nicer/quieter motor and MUCH better suspension. Eride is made for kids who want to go fast in the street, Talaria is made for people who want to use it as an actual dirtbike.
@@twall4381Look everybody a 4th Talaria Boy !! 😂😂 Gtfo of here dude that gearbox will snap in half like a toothpick just as easy as a belt. And what makes the motor better cause its quieter? LMAO it runs at less rpm an can handle way less power than a Eride or Surron motor. And both of my Eride Pro SS’s came with Fastace Suspension so I dont know what your talking there, Talaria comes with a airfork you cant put air in or it voids the warranty, wtf… You should close your mouth and get a clue cause you don’t know what you’re talking about
Good video man. This is how I'm going to ride when I get mine. Desolate roadways to greenspaces. And back and forth. Avoid the busy streets = avoid problems.
@@WFMguy Riding as I did in the video I can get about 30-40 miles. If you go on the highway or sustain speeds of over 40mph even for short distances, that number goes down fast. If I go 45-55 mph I can get about 15-25 miles.
It’s nice to see a young man do his work on what you wanted. Plus you paid for it. Not with parents money. Good for you. I am 64 and that’s how I do it. I am waiting on a V3 Goat.
Thanks for the information, I've been looking around to getting a bike like this just for fun and it seems this would be one of the ones I consider. Keep doing what you're doing man.
Buying mine this week, already ordered my graphics kit and pedal kit so I can ride on the streets of Massachusetts and ordered my class 2 stickers if I get pulled over lol
I’ve got the 24’ pro SS & the Talaria MX4 Like to ride the Eride in the day. The Sting at night cause it’s quieter. So satisfied with both for the purposes I intended them for.
They have removed the need for the turbo button pretty early on with a software update when people started complaining. So right now, Turbo is the same as sport mode. However there is a new model coming out in early may called the SR which will be substantially more powerful. Nobody has exact details on it yet but I expect it to be an ultra bee competitor.
The difference between the pro ss and the pro s is that the pro S comes with 17" wheels, a smaller 32ah battery, and a slightly weaker motor resulting in a slower top speed. The SS has 19" wheels, a 40ah battery, and the bigger motor. In my opinion, you get a bit more bang for your buck with the SS model but both versions still beat a surron and are great value regardless.
I bought a new E-Ride Pro SS 19" on line from E-Ride pro. From 1st ride the rear brake was grinding with a medal on medal sound the minute you touch the back brake. Rode a couple of miles thinking it would go away with some warm up but it got worse. I took off and reinstalled the rear brake caliper to notice that it seemed to be off a little in the way it was mounted. One of the brake pads had an abnormal groove in it. End of the story is that E-Ride pro does not honor any warranty they promote. I called them and talk to a rep but he did nothing to help me. Told me to send in the warranty form that they ignored. Be aware that once you buy from E-Ride pro you are on your own. If they send you bike with a problem they will not help you. So I purchased new brake pads and reinstalled the back brake caliper and the new brake pads, but the rear brake still has a grind to it. Not as bad as before but it's still there.
I cant decide between this, an electric motion trial bike or the stark varg. The eride pro ss would be the cheapest but also quality wise the worst of those 3. The electric motion is mainly for trial so maybe not so much fun as the eride. And the stark would be amazing but also very expensive.
That clip was filmed before I had the charger. The battery started at around 65% at the time of delivery and I was able to ride 22 miles before it was dead. With a full battery, If I stay away from long periods of highway speeds I get about 40-50 miles.
Great video bud I’m looking at getting one I live close to work so the PRO SS would be perfect and right out of the box you get more power 👌🏽🤙🏽what do you think about the range?
The range is pretty good if you live within 30 miles of work you should be good. The bike doesn't seem to like highway riding when it comes to battery life but if you would be staying under 45mph for most of the journey it's nothing to be worried about. Charging at work is always a plus
Technically no. It's not street legal as it exceeds the 750w limitation placed on ebikes in most US states. The correct way to go about it would be to get it registered as a moped or motorcycle but realistically very few people do this. Most cops don't care, but the ones that do have the power to impound your bike so it's a mixed bag. Up to you what you want to obey or not.
Damn bro ty for the review i currently have a YYG BR100, it’s basically a chinese e bycicle that ran me $1500 ish & tops 33 mph (1200W, 48V 20AH battery) which has nothing on this my stepdad got it for me a year ago and i feel like i’ve outgrown it, so i decided to start looking for an e dirt bike that’s faster and better. I originally found a chinese KTM free ride clone that is a heap of junk and i would have bought it because there were minimal reviews of it and most of them said the thing was good but a review dropped december 2023 that exposed everything about the bike. my friend was telling me not to buy that chinese piece of shit and get this, and now i’m listening to him. everything about this thing is crazy cool and i just need it rn my parents said they were considering getting me some sort of upgrade this summer so we’ll see 🤷♀️
I feel like a Karen for writing this but you might wanna chill out in the parking lots. Spraying gravel and going 40mph while people trying to back up is gonna be expensive or get you hurt. Either way I enjoyed the video, a good honest take.
Best review so far

Regarding the audio, I noticed that in post, however I couldn't figure out how to fix it. I am using iMovie. Thanks
Eride crushes the Surron and the Talaria, I agree 💯

I have a burromax tt1600 .. this definitely my next bike 💯💯
Exact bike I have been looking at. Thank you for the review. Would love to see a follow up review after riding it a bunch
Absolutely! I plan on doing a 500 mile review when I come up on that milestone. Thanks for watching!
As someone who has recently become obsessed with these, I really appreciate an honest review. Please update again in a couple months!!
I love the unbiased review!!!!! Keep it up !!
Great video, loved the review and the riding afterwards:)
Thank you!
Keep the videos coming!!!
New one scheduled for this Sunday!
mine comes tomorrow i cant wait good video very well informed

Thanks man! And yeah, that's really where these bikes strive
How many miles did you get out of it riding it like that?

I keep laughing at the super loud sound when the video cuts 😂 sounds like the screams of the damned
😂
Broo, this is a great video! Keep it up! I love the 3rd person view clips of you jumping off things.
great review, but whats with the random loud clips during the voice over lol
Good job sir
Any idea on when they’ll release the new models with no turbo button?

Looks like a ton of fun but, I am not too excited on the hefty price. Also what’s the difference between the Pro S and SS other than price?

Wheel size power and battery range.
Great ride man. I'm buying my own too. Slowly. 😅
It's worth the wait!
Oh cool, my roommate has one of those
How’s the hill climbing ability?
1st video to show off real power an speed keep up the work 😁 would you still recommend? How fast have you got it to?
it’s usually the same deal on a dirtbike when putting new bars on you gotta put the levers and throttle on before you actually mount the bars
Good to know 🙌
How did u take out the break sensor
Under the key switch there are a series of connectors, there is one for the front and one for the rear!
I bought a new E-Ride Pro SS 19" on line from E-Ride pro. From 1st ride the rear brake was grinding with a medal on medal sound the minute you touch the back brake. You should be able to fix that if you get it aligned correctly n clean. The full metallic pads seem to make less noise for me.
You’re def acting like a true hooligan! I’m jealous
best indepth review, but please do fix your audio levels & whatever is that cut in & out noise
Thank you for the feedback, will fix that in the next video
w vid
Please tell me if you drive at 25 miles per hour, will the battery last that distance?
are you from Tennessee cause you're the only ten i see
I cant decide between this, an electric motion trial bike or the stark varg.

youre at 5% with barely 22 miles ? is the battery good?
That clip was filmed before I had the charger. The battery started at around 65% at the time of delivery and I was able to ride 22 miles before it was dead. With a full battery, If I stay away from long periods of highway speeds I get about 40-50 miles.
oh nice yeah thats good to hear im getting mine soon
I will say though, If i am pinning the throttle on the highway, the battery drains soooo fast. I'll go like 3 miles and be down to 80%@@FreshBeKnifing

Thank You for the quick response, I fee like a kid again and really want to buy one.@@Thrillowatt
are they street legal for nyc?
Definitely not, however you are plenty fast enough to get away from any cops
how did you get 63MPH on this? thats not possible , 55MPh is max that RPMs will let you go with stock contorller
Downhill

Yeah those entry level bikes are great for what they are. This thing is great you will really enjoy it
Someday when technology improves we will have a 200 mile range 😏
who else are hearing the loud audio glitches?
If you're going to ride it like you stole it, consider upgrading the entire brake systems.
Those mountain bike brakes were designed for

I think I’m going to buy this bike instead of the surron
Go for it! You won't regret it!
