Best tip for new underwater photographers; try to get an angle from slightly below your subject. How many pictures and videos have you seen by amateurs that’s just a top down view? It doesn’t look great. Also, should you use a red filter if you’re using good lights? Wouldn’t the light itself negate the need for color correction if it’s saturated?
Definitely a great point on positioning! I see that mistake all the time, top down shots. Regarding red filters, if you have lights and are shooting up close with those lights, no filter is better as the lights shoot daylight. But for reefs and general wide angle, your lights aren’t going to give enough light to light the image well enough so a red filter is pretty much a necessity. If you get super expensive lights with certain filters on them (like $10k each, very expensive haha) and also use red filters I think it’s technically the “perfect” match but I don’t think many people spending that much on lighting would need this video 🤣
I use the GoPro ones, but you need to rinse them off after being in saltwater especially. If you’re looking for anything else, look for stainless steel. Still needs to be rinsed though.

You rock man! Thank you! Make more content!
You’re welcome! My channel is full of content 😅
Can you recommend screws to fasten the camera to the handle? The original Gopro screws rust after just 2 days.
