A short story/set of short stories, that take place on the Argo 2, specifically when characters are going on quest, every time a group leaves the Argo 2 we always followed that groups POV, it would be cool to see the antics of the Argo 2, while mini quest are going on. 2. A short story about stuff that happened in that summer leading up to Percy’s 16th birthday, in the last Olympian we only see the end of that summer, there is an entire summer we don’t see, I think it would be cool to see camp half blood preparing for war. 3. Little short stories taking place with a different cabin, eg; one from the perspective of a Hermes kid, one from an Athena kid. That’s all for now. Have a good day/night!
I would’ve loved to see a clearminded mortal among the 7, a bit like Rachel. I feel like Rachel is the only person, who was involved in all this, because of a desicion, and not just because of her mom/dad.

I think Annabeth and Nico would have an incredible friendship just because both of them kind of struggled in their own ways to fit in. Annabeth was roped into the world of monsters at so young that she probably had to give up her sense of being a normal child. Nico grew up with not a lot of family experience and then his sister died. It would have been good to see them interact more because they've both been through so much and we don't get to hear a lot about their experiences.
I am pretty sure that piper and hazel were rly good friends. During the house of hades, it is mentioned many times after hazel’s confrontation with Sciron, that piper and hazel became close. They “shed tears about Anna Beth, and hazel explained how controlling the mist feeled. Piper was surprised by how much it sounded like charmspeak. She promised to help hazel if hazel taught piper how to sword fight, which was smth that piper sucked at.” Also, at the end of hoh, piper and hazel are sword fighting in the background, so I think those two were rly good friends. I do agree about piper and annabeth’s relationship tho
I can just imagine Leo trying to cheer up Nico and then Nico just responding like “Fuck off before I rip your throat out” and then Leo just carries on, then Nico does some Hades magic like send him to Tartarus or gets his Zombie army to torture Leo which shuts him up completely.

I like your enthusiasm and creativity, but there’s a reason Riordan did this. You see all the seven represent a member of the original argonauts or at least a past hero (isn’t just A HoO thing, pretty much all of Riordan’s work has characters who are allusions to previous myths, examples include Silena is an allusion to Patroclus, Clarrise is clearly Achilles and Magnus is Sigurd). This important, especially with Frank’s character. Frank is a modern retelling of the story of Melegar. And Melegar’s key feature was his life force connected to the stick. It’s what created tension with his life and made it such a tragedy. Same with Frank, take away his connection to the myth, you take away his reasoning for being in this story. That’s why rewriting this story, while a noble effort, is impossible in the end. Because Riordan crafted such an excellent retelling of an age old tale, with newer modern versions of the stories that have touched thousands of generations.

The lightning thief is a pretty short book by most standards. Two days ago I finished ''The Broken Eye'' by Brent Weeks, which is easily three times the lenght of the lightning thief. It's part of the Lightbringer serie, I recommand it to anyone who likes adult fantasy books.
I really wanted to see on of them going to one single quest, not dividing. i know that it will not work but it will just be cool. WHERE IS THE FRIENDSHIP IN HOO. all we get is the couple's and jason and percy
The only book I would change I. House of hades in my version Annabeth is sorta replaced by Rachel but she is still there percy Annabeth piper and Jason fell in tarturus and the rest of them are trying to save them Rachel is the leader and the mom of the seven and she is also with percy,nico and will are also there but still friends for now but not In the 7 just helping, frank and hazle are the least important they are just their to give us some cute moments and to help fight Reyna is the last part of the 7 and most people rely on her Leo Is on calypsos Island for most of the book wich takes place for around a year or two until he finds them a way off the island, in tarturus piper and Jason are on the other side of tarturus and are trying to escape themselves but Annabeth and percy are just waiting for them to come find them but at the very end of the book Rachel and nico and will find Annabeth and percy but Reyna hazle and frank find piper and Jason. The main friendships are Rachel and Annabeth the strongest one hazle frank and Reyna are the main trio nico and will and Leo and calypso. For Leo and calypsos story at the end Leo find a way for him and calypso to get out together and by the time they got back they were best friends and when the last book comes around they start dating. So that's my vision just wanted to share it
