Wow! In my classroom, our desks had inkwells, mine included. There was definitely no room for cozy corners and rugs. We had one electric outlet and were permitted a four socket power bar. The rule was never use more than three at a time. If you did, or just forgot, the fuse for all the classrooms and restrooms on the south side of the second floor hall would blow. We had no daytime custodian, so the guilty teacher had to line up her class, stop at the office to sign for a new fuse, and continue to the basement to the fuse box. Children had to wait in the hall as it was illegal for them to be in the sub-basement. You used the handy flashlight to brush away the spiderwebs, open the box, used the flashlight to identify and change the fuse. Then you returned to the classroom. For some reason, blown fuses had to be returned to the office in a sealed ziplock bag. They are considered toxic waste. Ours was the second oldest school still in use as a school in the entire system, built in 1887. There’s one older from 1882.
Ikr! Like when I sit down in those chairs like plastic ones at school for about 30 minutes my behind starts to itch. I know that was weird but am I the only one who feels it?
ouch and I was one of those students that use their drawers as a bin years ago. But I did learn to clean it out so that's a plus (after our school made it a rule that when we were in primary 3 to 5, the desk and chair's we are using is ours so everytime we move or change sits or graduate to the next class, we had to move the table and chairs with us. We learn very quickly to have ensure to have it clean so we have less stuff to carry when moving. Plus anything that falls out, we are force to clean it alone. The delinquents tend to use that opportunity to show who is more macho and stronger so there was no drama. This method might not work in the states though.)
Lovely. I wish our classrooms had an office included here in Dominican Republic. My respect to you Teacher. Salute from the very hot, hot, hot Santo Domingo...🇩🇴🇩🇴
I find it disconcerting that the two volumes of Bored Teacher's Classroom Cribs don't seem to be inclusive of minority teachers. What does this indicate about where minority teachers work and the limited supplies and classroom size they have? Just saying...
😂😂😂😂 love it!
I got an electric diffuser in my room that changes colors, you can't tell me nothing.
D.L. Wms I have one too 😂 my students LOVE it !
This is awesome! Jealous of your escape hatch back door!
Hahaha "this drawer is the reason my diet isn't working". Story of my life. Gotta have those snacks lol
Singlehandedly 😄😄
“My students call me fulm dawg” yeah she’s the favorite teacher that every student wants
I teared up a bit laughing at the relatability of students using drawers as personal trash cans lol

Lord😱
I’m so jealous of your student desks. The kids at my high school hate the uncomfortable ones we have.

How did she manage to have a teacher desk so clean :0 or am i the only one that is unable to do that!
I am most consistent at FAILING at this! And I do try.
Maybe at your school the night custodians don't raid your fridge or use your microwave and leave it dirty.
Very nice classroom crib 😎
Hilarious! Love your sense of humor!
This tickled me!!! So real!!! Loved it! 😆 😂
As a teacher, I feel every part of this video deep in my tired soul :D Thanks for a great video!
"My students call me Fulm-dog"

@The Procraftinator Equity is not an over-obsession. That would require more thought.
